Anupama 23rd May 2026 Written Update: Prem Crosses a Line as Anupama’s Café Success Creates New Trouble
Today’s episode begins with Prem struggling to control his frustration as Anupama’s café continues attracting huge crowds. While Prem watches customers happily gather around her café, Anupama stays focused on building her business with positivity and hard work. This time, she introduces a Punjabi Tadka theme to make the café more exciting and appealing. The colorful setup, lively atmosphere, and food instantly become crowd-pullers. Anupama moves around happily managing everything while making sure customers feel welcomed. Amid the rush, she takes time to appreciate Hasmuk and praises him warmly. Banku also comes forward asking how he looks, and Anupama, being Anupama, never misses a chance to encourage people around her. She praises him too, creating a cheerful atmosphere while her café keeps getting busier.
On the other side, Prem stands watching everything alongside Rahi, Shruti, and Prerna. The growing crowd outside Anupama’s café clearly bothers him more than he wants to admit. His frustration slowly turns into anger. Meanwhile, Anupama indirectly addresses negativity without naming anyone. She says holding anger inside only hurts a person and carrying bitterness for too long never brings happiness. Her words are simple, but Prem feels targeted immediately. Instead of calming down, he becomes even more irritated. Watching Prem react so strongly leaves Anupama confused. She even directs the customers toward him. Ansh feels shocked seeing Anupama willingly sending customers away despite running her own business. He questions her decision immediately. Anupama calmly explains that customers should always receive what they want. She adds that their café already has enough visitors and having a generous heart matters too. Her kindness once again proves why people naturally admire her. Ironically, instead of feeling grateful, Prem and Shruti become angry after learning that Anupama sent customers their way.
Elsewhere, excitement slowly begins building around the upcoming food carnival competition. Anupama shares her excitement with Digvijay and openly admits she wants to win this competition at any cost. For her, this is not just another event. It is an opportunity to prove herself once again. Digvijay stands firmly beside her and says as long as they work together, success will follow. Both prepare themselves to register officially. The host asks participants to fill out forms and complete registration. Everything seems simple initially. But where competition enters, drama usually arrives carrying snacks and unnecessary problems alongside.
Prem and Rahi suddenly interfere.
Before Anupama and Digvijay properly finish the registration process, Prem snatches Anupama’s form. Digvijay and Anupama stand shocked. Rahi notices something important during the chaos. Prem seems more focused on defeating Anupama than concentrating on his own performance. The obsession slowly becomes obvious. Instead of worrying about improving himself, Prem remains consumed by rivalry. Anupama stays calm and simply asks Digvijay to check the form again. Meanwhile, Prem openly tells Rahi he wants her support because he plans to win the competition at any cost. Unfortunately, that determination slowly begins crossing unhealthy boundaries.
Later, after Anupama completes her submission and leaves peacefully, Prem secretly sabotages her registration form. His frustration finally pushes him toward making a wrong decision. Instead of defeating competition fairly, he decides winning matters more than principles. Slowly, anger begins changing him into someone difficult to recognize.
Meanwhile, another storyline quietly brings emotional tension inside the family. Meeta informs Vasundhara, Raja, and Khyati that Pari is not feeling well. Vasundhara immediately jumps toward one conclusion and confidently announces that Pari might be pregnant. The statement shocks Pari completely. Raja instantly becomes excited imagining fatherhood while Vasundhara looks convinced her prayers have finally been answered. Pari, however, decides staying practical matters more than celebrating assumptions. She says they should consult a doctor before reaching conclusions. Khyati supports her and asks everyone to wait patiently. Despite this, Vasundhara remains certain life is bringing happy news into their family.
Back at Prem’s café, Shruti arrives carrying exciting business news. She informs Prem that they received a lunch order for thirty people. The opportunity immediately lifts Prem’s mood. Finally, something positive enters his day. Rahi feels relieved seeing him happy after a long time. Shruti quietly tells Rahi this happiness will only grow bigger very soon. Meanwhile, another small moment unfolds elsewhere when Ansh accidentally bumps into Prerna. He quickly explains that he was not following her. Unfortunately, Shruti notices the interaction and quietly observes everything from a distance.
At the same time, Digvijay brings one of his friends to Anupama’s café. Once again, Anupama impresses guests through her food and hospitality. Her warmth continues becoming her biggest strength. Elsewhere, Pari begins feeling anxious thinking about possible motherhood. Excitement mixes with nervousness. She asks Khyati to accompany her to the doctor because emotions are becoming difficult to manage alone. Khyati agrees immediately and asks Pari not to panic before confirmation.
Towards the end, another unexpected twist changes everything. Prem prepares carefully for the lunch booking, hoping things finally move in the right direction. But fate decides otherwise. Mukesh suddenly cancels the booking completely. The cancellation becomes Prem’s loss.
And Anupama’s opportunity.
The same clients now approach Anupama instead.
Excitement immediately returns inside her café.
New customers.
A fresh challenge.
And another reason for Prem’s frustration to grow.
The episode ends with rivalry becoming more intense while one wrong decision quietly pushes Prem toward dangerous choices.

Heartbroken and unable to handle the humiliation, Prerna attempts suicide. Digvijay and Ansh rush her to the hospital. Later, Prerna leaves behind a note saying she never betrayed Prem. Anupama stands shocked.
