Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 31st May 2026 Written Update: Armaan and Abhira Corner Rishabh, But a New Wedding Shock Awaits
The episode begins with tensions reaching a boiling point as Abhira openly calls out Damyanti for supporting someone like Rishabh. She believes that women who protect wrongdoers are equally responsible for the pain they cause. Damyanti refuses to listen and decides to take Rishabh away from the situation before things get worse.
Armaan is in no mood to back down.
Furious over everything Myra has endured, he declares that he will file a police complaint against Rishabh. Damyanti challenges him and says he should first find proof before accusing anyone. Rishabh, enjoying the situation, confidently tells Abhira that he is indeed the stalker, but she will never be able to prove it. His arrogance only strengthens Abhira’s resolve.
Meanwhile, the debate over filing a complaint creates divisions inside the family.
Disha stands firmly by Rishabh’s side and refuses to believe the accusations. Abhira questions how Disha can ignore Myra’s suffering. Armaan remains determined to seek justice, but Kaveri unexpectedly intervenes. She asks him to think carefully because a public complaint could affect Myra’s reputation. Armaan and Kaveri clash over what should be done next.
Elsewhere, Myra struggles to recover emotionally.
Krish and Tanya spend time with her and try to lift her spirits. Krish assures Myra that despite his disagreements with Armaan, he will always stand by her side. Tanya also comforts her and encourages her to stay strong.
Their conversation later takes an unexpected turn.
Tanya notices how protective Krish has become toward Myra and questions him about it. Krish reveals that he wants to give their relationship another chance. Tanya, however, remains unwilling to revisit the past. Krish silently worries because Kaveri has threatened to remove him from the family will, leaving him under increasing pressure.
Back at home, Manoj brings important news.
He informs Abhira and Armaan that the date for their court marriage has finally been fixed. The announcement should have been a happy moment, but Abhira’s mind remains focused on finding evidence against Rishabh. She even attempts to search through Manoj’s tablet for clues.
Manoj immediately stops her.
He warns both Abhira and Armaan against accusing Rishabh without proof and insists that they are jumping to conclusions. His words frustrate the couple even more.
Soon, Mukti calls them to Myra’s room.
Myra is still trying to remove the ring that has become a painful reminder of her trauma. Abhira gently asks her to stop forcing it. Myra blames herself for ever speaking to the stalker. Watching her struggle breaks both Armaan and Abhira’s hearts. They feel helpless because they know who the culprit is but cannot prove it.
The conflict deepens on another front.
Disha confronts Aryan and lashes out at him for not supporting her while she defended Rishabh. She demands that he choose a side once and for all. According to Disha, Aryan must decide whether he stands with Armaan and Abhira or with Rishabh.
Rishabh continues playing the innocent victim.
In front of everyone, he behaves as though he has done nothing wrong. But Myra is no longer willing to stay silent. Gathering her courage, she directly warns him that his games will not last forever. Armaan supports her and tells Rishabh that punishment is waiting for him.
The small victory boosts Myra’s confidence.
Later, Myra, Mukti, Abhira, and Armaan spend a light-hearted moment together. Mukti praises Myra for fighting back despite her fear. Myra admits that she feels safest when she is with Abhira, Armaan, and Mukti. The family shares a rare moment of happiness after days of tension.
But peace never lasts long in the Poddar household.
Kaveri later calls Abhira aside for a private conversation. At first, Abhira assumes Kaveri wants to discuss Rishabh. Instead, Kaveri shocks her by suggesting that Myra also bears some responsibility for what happened.
Abhira immediately objects.
Kaveri argues that girls must be more careful because society judges them differently. She insists that Myra should avoid unnecessary interactions with boys. According to Kaveri, the world is unfair, and girls often pay a much heavier price for mistakes.
Abhira refuses to accept that logic.
She firmly defends Myra and says the blame belongs solely to the stalker. Armaan also supports Myra’s innocence. However, Kaveri remains convinced that reality treats men and women differently. Her words leave Abhira disturbed and disappointed.
The episode ends with the family still struggling to expose Rishabh.
Despite having strong suspicions, they remain trapped without solid proof. Myra is slowly regaining her confidence, but the danger posed by Rishabh has not disappeared. At the same time, Armaan and Abhira’s wedding preparations have finally begun, offering a small ray of hope amid the chaos.
Unfortunately, a major storm is already on the horizon.
Precap:
Armaan and Abhira get excited about their court marriage and share romantic moments together. On the wedding day, Armaan asks Abhira to meet him directly at the court. However, before he can reach there, Armaan suddenly collapses outside the court, leaving his future with Abhira hanging in uncertainty.
