Anu tells that she knows Sushi is a Japanese dish. Mansi asks her to make it in a delicate way. She says Sushi is everyone’s favourite dish, and Anu can take her help if needed. She wishes Anu all the best and leaves. The old servant looks on.
Pushpa tells the neighbours that Anu is happy, and Arya is taking good care of her. She smiles and says Simran and Anu are lucky to get good life partners. Simran is silent. Bholi asks about the reception party. She says they will learn dance and perform well so that they keep their name. Pushpa and Rajni agree. Bholi dances. She asks Pushpa to join her. Pushpa tells that they should choose a decent song and perform some simple steps. Bholi asks Simran to suggest a song. Simran tells that they will look the best anyway.
Rajni asks Pushpa to call Anu and ask about the first Rasoi. Pushpa prays. Anu checks the Sushi recipe video. She gets confused and calls Pushpa for help. Pushpa asks what sushi is. Anu tells that the ingredients are strange. Pushpa asks her to hold; she will ask everyone about it. She calls everyone and asks them if they know Sushi. Bholi tells that she knows it, but she can’t prepare it. Pushpa tells Anu that nobody knows about it. Anu asks her to calm down, and she will watch another tutorial and try to make it. Anu says she doesn’t know what to do.
Arya comes and tells that he will tell her what to do. Kaka follows him. Arya tells that Kaka told him about her trouble. He asks Kaka to guard the corridor. Kaka leaves. Anu tells that she tried a lot, but she can’t make Sushi. Arya holds her hand and tells that she doesn’t need to fight any battle alone. She tells that it will be wrong to deceive everyone. He tells that they are life partners, he is keeping his promise to support her and its team work. She smiles. He tells that he will guide her. Mansi tells Harsh and Gayatri that Anu said she doesn’t need anyone’s help. Mami comments on Anu. Mansi tells them that she offered help to Anu, but the latter refused.
Arya helps Anu, and they make the Sushi. Neil asks Simran if the tiffin is ready. She asks where he goes with the tiffin when he doesn’t have a job. He tells that he is looking for a job. She asks if she should ask Arya to give him a job. He refuses. She argues that he isn’t putting in any effort. She compares him with Arya. She regrets their marriage. She cries. Neil gets upset and leaves. Mansi tells Gayatri that she doesn’t have patience now. She thinks Anu didn’t make any food. Mama and Mami say that they are starving.
Arya comes and asks them if the food isn’t served. Mansi tells that Anu is cooking the food, she didn’t take her help, and maybe she has done something wrong. She says she will go and check. The maid comes and says Anu is calling them, and the food is ready. Harsh says the wait is over. Anu presents Sushi. Mansi and Mami are shocked to see the perfect Sushi. Anu tells that she has prepared Badam halwa for them. Gayatri smiles.
Harsh takes the halwa bowl and tries it. He likes it. He asks them to leave Sushi and eat the halwa. Anu serves the halwa to everyone. Anu smiles. Pushpa gets a Chinese food seller home. She asks Gopal to make a video call to Anu. She tells Anu that the person will teach her to make Sushi. The man tells that he has a Chinese food stall and he doesn’t know Sushi. Anu asks Pushpa to calm down.
She tells that she made Sushi with Arya’s help, and everyone liked it. The man asks Pushpa to give him money. She asks Gopal to pay him. Gopal gives the money. The man leaves. Jalandhar meets Meera. He jokes and acts like her. He tells that he is keeping an eye on Jhende. He asks how she will get his entry in the reception party. Harsh comes to Arya and asks him how he helped Anu in the first Rasoi.
Arya asks him why he has become orthodox. Anu comes and asks Harsh what’s wrong, why he is creating a big scene. Harsh and Anu start arguing. Arya asks them to stop it. Harsh and Anu start laughing. They tell that they were acting and pulling a prank. Arya pulls their ears.

This episode is a perfect example of why Arya and Anu work so well as a couple. What begins as another one of Mansi’s schemes ends up becoming a showcase of their partnership, while Mansi once again learns that underestimating Anu is becoming an expensive habit.
The Sushi challenge is honestly one of Mansi’s funniest plans so far. Asking a girl who grew up making traditional home-cooked food to suddenly prepare a premium Japanese dish feels less like a First Rasoi ritual and more like a reality cooking show challenge. Mansi is practically waiting outside the kitchen with popcorn, expecting disaster.
Anu’s panic feels believable. Unlike many television heroines who suddenly become experts at everything, Anu openly admits she doesn’t know how to make Sushi. Her calls to Pushpa for help are both sweet and hilarious. The entire locality trying to solve the Sushi mystery creates some genuinely entertaining moments. Pushpa finding a Chinese food vendor as an emergency consultant might be the most middle-class-parent solution ever shown on television.
The episode truly belongs to Arya. Instead of sitting outside and waiting for Anu to fail or succeed, he quietly enters the kitchen wearing his invisible superhero cape. His line about Anu never having to fight battles alone beautifully reflects the promise he made after marriage. More importantly, he doesn’t take over the task. He guides her and works alongside her, making it a team effort rather than a rescue mission.
That distinction matters because the episode isn’t about Arya saving Anu. It’s about Arya supporting Anu.
Harsh continues being one of the most entertaining family members. His obsession with the Badam Halwa over the fancy Sushi perfectly represents half the audience. While everyone is admiring the international dish, Harsh is busy identifying the real winner on the dining table.
The Simran-Neil storyline quietly becomes more concerning. Their arguments are no longer small misunderstandings. Simran’s frustration and Neil’s growing insecurity suggest deeper problems ahead. Compared to Arya and Anu’s supportive relationship, their marriage is beginning to show serious cracks.
Meanwhile, Jalandhar and Meera remain the dark cloud hanging over the story. While the family celebrates small victories, Jalandhar is still planning his reception attack. The fact that he is now openly discussing ways to bypass Jhende’s security means the reception drama is getting closer.
The final prank involving Harsh and Anu provides a lighthearted ending. Watching Arya realize he has been fooled by both of them is a refreshing change from all the plotting happening elsewhere.
Overall, the episode succeeds because it balances humour, family warmth, romance, and suspense without losing focus.
