Sairaab 9th June 2026 Written Update: Ishaan Pulls Nayanika Into a Storm She Never Expected
The episode begins with a shocking flashback from Nayanika’s past.
A younger Nayanika is delighted to see Neil and excitedly invites Angana to join them for lunch. Angana politely refuses, saying she has already booked a cab to return to her PG accommodation. After Angana leaves, Nayanika notices that Neil is unusually disturbed.
When she asks him what happened, Neil says he loves her deeply and never wants to lose her. Confused, Nayanika presses him for answers.
Neil finally drops a bombshell.
He admits that during a camp trip, he made a terrible mistake. He reveals that Angana is pregnant with his child.
Nayanika is left completely shattered by the confession.
Back in the present, another storm is waiting for her.
Indrani is shocked after seeing newspaper reports featuring Nayanika and famous singer Ishaan together. She immediately questions Nayanika about roaming around the city with him.
Jaya asks everyone to let Nayanika explain first, but Shreya wastes no time taunting her and jokes that Nayanika has become a celebrity overnight.
Nayanika calmly explains that Ishaan had visited her hospital as a patient and later requested her help in finding his childhood home. She insists there is nothing inappropriate about the situation.
Indrani questions why she never mentioned it the previous night.
Nayanika explains that they were already discussing other family issues and she never got the chance.
While Shreya continues her sarcasm, Mini becomes excited and suggests inviting Ishaan home. Rudra immediately supports the idea, believing Ishaan’s visit would boost the family’s social status.
Nayanika reveals that Ishaan had expressed a desire to eat homemade Bengali food.
That is enough for Indrani.
She instantly decides to invite Ishaan for dinner.
Ujjaini rushes downstairs after hearing the news and excitedly bombards her mother with questions. Meanwhile, Indrani decides to invite Neil as well, turning the dinner into a potentially explosive gathering.
Later, Nayanika enters her room and notices multiple missed calls from Ishaan.
She calls him back.
Instead of discussing anything important, Ishaan playfully asks whether he now needs an appointment just to speak with her.
Nayanika formally invites him for dinner.
But Ishaan wants something more.
He insists on meeting her before dinner because he hasn’t seen her for what feels like a long time.

Neil appears noticeably uncomfortable hearing Ishaan’s name repeatedly.
At college, Ujjaini becomes the center of attention as her friends demand details about Ishaan. Some even invite themselves to the dinner gathering.
Meanwhile, Shreya notices something unusual before Nayanika leaves for work.
Nayanika is wearing a bindi.
Shreya immediately points it out.
Embarrassed, Nayanika says she will remove it, but Ujjaini stops her and sweetly tells her that she looks beautiful.
The compliment lingers in Nayanika’s mind as she leaves for the hospital.
The biggest surprise of the day arrives shortly afterward.
Nayanika reaches the hospital only to find Ishaan waiting outside in his car.
Completely stunned, she asks him what he is doing there.
Ishaan casually asks her to get inside.
Nayanika refuses and reminds him that she is working.
Ishaan suggests she apply for leave while sitting inside the car.
She questions where his driver is.
Ishaan reveals that he came alone because he wanted privacy.
As a crowd slowly begins recognizing him, Nayanika reluctantly gets into the car to avoid attracting attention.
Once they are alone, Ishaan finally opens up.
He tells her that she has a beautiful family, a loving husband, and a stable life. He insists that he has no intention of ruining any of it.
However, he admits that he simply wants to spend some time with her before leaving the city.
Tomorrow, he will be gone.
And if Nayanika wishes, they may never meet again.
His honesty catches her off guard.
When she asks where they are going, Ishaan reveals that he wants to visit a special place connected to memories of his mother.
The atmosphere softens.
As they drive together, Nayanika remarks that he behaves exactly like her daughter whenever he gets stubborn.
Ishaan immediately objects.
He says he doesn’t want to be compared with her daughter all the time.
Then his eyes fall on her bindi.
For a moment, everything becomes quiet.
Ishaan gently tells Nayanika that the bindi suits her.
And that she looks beautiful today.
As Nayanika absorbs his words, emotions she has kept buried for years begin to stir once again.
The episode ends.
