She asks him to handle his work. She tells that she is stressed, an officer will come to check the place, and how she will prove that she makes the pickles at home. Santosh comes and asks her not to worry, she has arranged a place, and it will be her new kitchen. Dev and Vasudha smile.
The next morning, Santosh takes Vasudha to surprise her. Sarika follows them to find out. Santosh tells Vasudha that she spoke to Hanumant, and they decided to keep the kitchen in his house. This episode belongs entirely to Vasudha. For perhaps the first time in a long while, she doesn’t win because someone rescues her or supports her. She wins because she stands up for herself.
The Hindi-versus-English scene works because it feels rooted in Vasudha’s character. She isn’t trying to impress anyone or deliver a dramatic speech. She simply refuses to accept being insulted for not knowing English. Her response to the officer is one of the strongest moments in her journey so far. Instead of portraying education as language-based, the episode highlights confidence and self-respect, making the scene emotionally satisfying.
Santosh deserves credit as well. Unlike earlier tracks where she fought Vasudha’s battles herself, she steps back and allows Vasudha to handle the situation. Her proud smile during the confrontation says more than a hundred dialogues. The transformation she has been pushing for is finally becoming visible.
The most fascinating part of the episode remains Chandrika. Brij’s comment that Vasudha is Chandrika’s carbon copy hits exactly where it hurts.
