Anupama 13th June 2026 Written Update: Pakhi Throws Ishani Out as Love Turns the Shah House Into a Battlefield
The Shah house once again becomes a war zone as love, family pride, and old wounds collide in today’s emotional episode of Anupama. What begins as a disagreement over Ansh and Prerna’s relationship soon explodes into a shocking family showdown that leaves relationships hanging by a thread. By the end of the episode, Pakhi takes a drastic step that stuns everyone, while Anupama finds herself trapped in yet another family storm.
The episode begins with Anupama confronting Leela for disrespecting food by throwing away the sweets. Anupama reminds her that food is sacred and should never be insulted, no matter how angry someone is. But Leela is in no mood to listen.
Ansh asks Leela why she is so upset about his relationship with Prerna. Leela bluntly says that Prerna is not suitable for him. According to her, Prerna is half-Kothari because she spent years with that family. Leela fears that if Prerna enters their family, the Kotharis will become their enemies.
Anupama immediately defends Prerna.
She points out that the Kotharis are not exactly friends of the Shah family anyway. Why should fear decide someone’s future? Leela refuses to budge and claims that since Prerna is Rajni’s daughter, she may eventually show her true colors.
Anupama firmly stands beside Prerna and reminds Leela that a person should be judged by their actions, not by their family background.
Ansh finally loses patience.
He asks Leela an uncomfortable question. After Dolly’s marriage, whose marriage decision did she actually take? Did she decide Anupama’s future? Samar’s? Paritosh’s? Pakhi’s? His words hit hard because the answer is obvious.
Anupama asks Leela to stop controlling everyone’s lives.
Leela gets offended and asks if she really controls others. That opens the floodgates.
Anupama points out that Leela never corrected Paritosh or Pakhi despite their mistakes. The argument intensifies so much that suddenly a bulb bursts in the house. Paritosh jokingly says that the bulb could no longer tolerate Anupama and Leela’s argument.
Elsewhere, peace seems to have temporarily returned to the Kothari house.
Vasundhara notices that things appear normal between Prem and Rahi again. Rahi asks Prem what he is reading so carefully. Prem reveals that he is studying competition rules and regulations.
Vasundhara quickly wonders if Anupama’s café has failed to qualify. She assumes that if Anupama had succeeded, there would have been celebrations by now. Shruti agrees and remarks that such competitions are not easy to win.
Prem immediately asks them to stop discussing Anupama so early in the morning.
Back at the Shah house, emotions continue to rise.
Ansh wonders why nobody can simply see him happy. Pakhi questions Prerna’s feelings for Prem, but Ansh gives it right back by asking Pakhi about her own past with Diwakar. Pakhi dismisses it, saying those memories are gone.
Ansh quietly points out that Prem’s memories seem erased too.
Prerna folds her hands before Leela and pleads for acceptance. She asks what fault is hers if she happens to be Rajni’s daughter. Hasmuk stands by Prerna and supports her relationship with Ansh.
Anupama also tries her best to convince Leela.
But then Pakhi throws another bomb.
She sarcastically says that if Leela agrees to this marriage, Anupama’s next mission will be getting Banku and Ishani married.
Anupama is shocked and asks Pakhi if she has lost her mind.
Pakhi says she knows Anupama well. According to her, Anupama could probably write 101 reasons explaining why marrying a servant is acceptable.
That statement changes everything.
Ishani suddenly speaks up.
She asks what exactly would be wrong if she married Banku.
The room falls silent.
Pakhi is stunned.
Then comes the biggest shock of the day.
Ishani openly confesses that she loves Banku and calls him a gem.
Pakhi completely loses control.
She slaps Ishani.
Paritosh, equally furious, hits Banku for daring to love his daughter. Pakhi slaps Ishani again, but this time Anupama steps in and stops her.
Amid the chaos, Ishani asks Digvijay to reveal the truth.
Pakhi immediately accuses Digvijay of encouraging Banku to trap Ishani. Paritosh agrees and claims there has been a conspiracy happening under their noses.
Even Anupama asks Digvijay why he never shared this earlier.
Digvijay calmly explains that so many family crises were happening that he simply never got the chance to discuss Ishani and Banku.
Pakhi and Paritosh once again blame Anupama for everything.
Meanwhile, Kinjal advises Ishani to think practically.
But Ishani delivers perhaps the most mature line of the episode.
She asks Kinjal if she herself is truly happy with Paritosh. Happiness comes with no guarantee, she says, so why shouldn’t she take a chance at love?
Her words leave everyone speechless.
Banku decides to leave quietly to avoid creating more problems.
But Ishani refuses to let him go.
She boldly announces before the entire family that Banku is not only her love but also her final choice.
Pakhi’s anger reaches its peak.
In a heartbreaking moment, she breaks ties with Ishani and orders her to leave the house.
Ansh, Kinjal, and Mahi try to stop her, but Pakhi refuses to listen.
Paritosh demands that Banku should be thrown out instead.
Leela finally asks Anupama to handle the situation because Banku and Digvijay are her guests.
Realizing emotions are running too high, Anupama asks Banku and Digvijay to leave for the café temporarily.
Then comes Pakhi’s emotional breakdown.
For the first time, she drops her anger and reveals her fear.
Pakhi tells Anupama that she does not want Ishani to suffer the same pain she once suffered in life. She asks Anupama honestly whether she is truly wrong.
The question leaves Anupama silent.
