Sairaab 18th June 2026 Written Update: Ishaan and Nayanika’s Silent Reunion Steals the Show at Ujjaini’s Fresher’s Party
The episode begins with a heartwarming mother-daughter moment. Nayanika helps Ujjaini get ready for her fresher’s party and tells her that she looks beautiful in a saree. Ujjaini takes the opportunity to ask if Nayanika will attend the event and watch her performance. Nayanika initially refuses, saying she finally has a day off and wants to rest.
Ujjaini becomes emotional and reminds her that all the other parents will be there to support their children. She clarifies that she is not insisting Nayanika attend for Ishaan’s performance because she knows her mother is not interested in such events. However, she admits that Nayanika is the only family she truly has and wants her support on her special day. Unable to disappoint her daughter, Nayanika finally agrees to come. Ujjaini’s happiness returns instantly, and she hugs her mother before leaving for college.
Meanwhile, Ujjaini meets Ishaan and praises his recent Chennai concert. She asks whether he completed the medical tests suggested by Nayanika. Ishaan is surprised that she knows about the tests. Ujjaini reveals that Nayanika told her and adds that her mother is very strict when it comes to her patients. Ishaan sadly remarks that he is just another patient for Nayanika and nothing more. Ujjaini asks what would happen if his health prevented him from singing in the future. Ishaan calmly replies that he would simply stop performing. His answer leaves Ujjaini stunned and worried.
Back home, Nayanika gets ready to attend the college function. Her decision immediately attracts criticism. Indrani questions why she changed her mind after refusing earlier. Nayanika explains that she is attending only because Ujjaini requested her presence. Shreya taunts her for not informing the family sooner, while Jaya supports her and offers to handle the household responsibilities. Rusha even decides to skip Rudra’s office party to help at home.
However, Indrani continues criticizing everyone. When Rusha chooses family over the party, Indrani accuses her of not caring about Rudra’s reputation. Tired of the constant remarks, Rusha walks away. Nayanika finally confronts the situation and asks why every decision she makes is questioned simply because she does not have a husband. She reminds everyone that she works daily and should be free to spend her leave however she wants. Jaya encourages her to ignore the comments and enjoy the event.
Elsewhere, Ena once again finds herself bothered by Ishaan’s growing closeness to Nayanika. She asks him whether his special guest will be attending the fresher’s party. Ishaan immediately questions why it matters to her. Ena points out that he never introduced her to Nayanika and claims that his attitude toward her changed after Nayanika entered his life. Ishaan firmly draws a line, reminding Ena that he values his privacy and dislikes interference in his personal matters. He also warns her not to do anything that could hurt Nayanika.
Unable to hide her feelings any longer, Ena confesses that she loves him and believes nobody can care for him the way she does. Ishaan responds respectfully but makes it clear that he needs space. Heartbroken, Ena leaves, realizing that Ishaan’s heart is already occupied by someone else.
Later, guests begin arriving at the college. Mini is surprised to see Ishaan arriving in a different car. Nayanika also notices him. Ishaan spots both women but chooses to respond only to Mini’s greeting. Mini quickly points out that he ignored Nayanika. Trying to appear unaffected, Nayanika explains that Ishaan only replied because Mini greeted him first. Deep down, however, she remembers how harshly she told him not to contact her again. Ishaan too recalls that painful conversation.
As the fresher’s party begins, excitement fills the atmosphere. The host announces Ishaan’s performance, and the crowd cheers loudly. While walking toward the stage, Ishaan’s eyes search through the audience and eventually find Nayanika. For a brief moment, everything else fades away. He smiles and greets her warmly. This time, Nayanika responds with a smile of her own. Their silent exchange becomes the emotional highlight of the episode, hinting that neither of them has truly moved on.
The episode ends with Ishaan stepping onto the stage while Nayanika watches from the audience, setting the stage for an emotional revelation ahead.
