Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan 21st June 2026 Written Update Review: Tej Shows His True Colors While Sneha Gives Purvi a Reality Check

This episode works because it quietly moves several storylines forward while exposing who the real troublemakers are.

The opening clash between Sneha and Durgavati continues their ideological battle rather than a personal one. Sneha questions the consequences of Durgavati’s lending business, while Durgavati argues that people are responsible for their own actions. Neither woman completely wins the argument, which actually makes the scene more interesting. For once, the conflict feels less black-and-white and more like a genuine difference in worldview.

Meanwhile, Soni’s academic success brings a much-needed feel-good moment. After so much drama, seeing Soni top her exams is refreshing. Ganga’s pride, Murli’s congratulations, and even Manohar’s emotional reaction create one of the episode’s warmest segments. Ironically, the happiest news of the day annoys Indu the most. At this point, she seems allergic to anyone else’s happiness.

The real turning point comes when Tej reveals his ambitions.

Until now, Tej has been operating in the shadows, pretending to support Durgavati. Here, his motives become much clearer. He doesn’t just want to help the family—he wants Siddhu’s position. His conversation with Durgavati is a major red flag. The moment she hands over responsibilities to him, viewers can practically hear alarm bells ringing.

Sneha’s conversation with Purvi is another standout scene.

Instead of exposing Purvi immediately for the gas-cylinder incident, Sneha chooses empathy. She understands Purvi’s pain and even advises her to move on with dignity. It’s a surprisingly mature approach. The problem is that Purvi doesn’t want healing; she wants Siddhu. That’s why Sneha’s advice lands like an insult in her ears.

The scene also confirms that Sneha is smarter than she lets on. She has already connected the earring to the cylinder incident and knows more than Purvi realizes. Rather than creating a dramatic public accusation, she waits and observes.

Then comes the episode’s strongest sequence.

Tej storms into Ganga’s Dhaba under the excuse of loan recovery, but his actions make it obvious this isn’t about money. It’s about humiliation. Throwing food, damaging property, and intimidating Ganga feels less like business and more like a personal attack.

What makes the scene powerful is Ganga’s dignity.

Even while being threatened, she refuses to disrespect food or lose her composure. She doesn’t scream or collapse. She stands firm. That calm strength makes Tej look even worse.

And then Siddhu arrives.

The show has repeatedly portrayed Siddhu as torn between family loyalties, but here he doesn’t hesitate for a second. Seeing him defend Ganga like a son rather than a son-in-law is satisfying because it proves his bond with her isn’t just about Sneha.

Tej’s biggest mistake is forgetting that attacking Ganga is one of the fastest ways to get Siddhu’s attention.

What Worked

  • Soni’s success brought positivity to the episode.
  • Sneha handled Purvi with maturity instead of revenge.
  • Tej’s hidden agenda became clearer.
  • Ganga remained strong despite humiliation.
  • Siddhu’s entry delivered the episode’s biggest cheer-worthy moment.

What Didn’t

  • Indu’s constant scheming is becoming predictable.
  • Purvi still refuses to accept reality despite repeated warnings.
  • Durgavati remains unaware of how much Tej is manipulating situations around her.

Rating: 4.3/5

This episode is less about big twists and more about character exposure. Sneha proves she’s thoughtful, Ganga proves she’s resilient, Siddhu proves he’s loyal, and Tej proves he’s becoming a far bigger threat than anyone in the family realizes.

The biggest winner of the episode isn’t Siddhu or Sneha—it’s Tej’s villain arc, which is finally stepping out of the shadows.
