Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan 22nd June Review: Purvi’s Tears Spark Another War, Siddhu Walks Into a Family Explosion

The latest episode proves once again that in Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, truth works overtime while lies get VIP treatment.

The episode begins with Tej creating chaos at Ganga’s dhaba under the noble banner of “business.” His version of loan recovery looks suspiciously similar to hooliganism as he throws things around and threatens Ganga. While Ganga remains calm and promises to repay the loan, Tej seems more interested in humiliation than repayment. Fortunately, Siddhu arrives before the dhaba turns into a disaster zone. He thrashes Tej, defends Ganga’s dignity, and makes it clear that nobody gets to disrespect a woman in his presence. For a moment, Siddhu looks less like a confused husband and more like the hero the family desperately needs.

Meanwhile, Indu is having the time of her life. Watching other people’s problems has practically become her full-time profession. When Purvi calls her in panic after realizing Sneha may have uncovered the gas-cylinder truth, Indu immediately switches into crisis-management mode. Naturally, her solution isn’t honesty. It’s more lies. She advises Purvi to use Durgavati’s trust as a weapon and turn the tables before Sneha exposes her. Purvi happily agrees, proving once again that accountability is not on her to-do list.

Back at Siddhu’s house, Sneha continues struggling with her conflicting emotions. Kumari and others keep reminding her about Siddhu’s love and regret, but Sneha remains unconvinced. Having watched Ganga suffer for years, she refuses to blindly trust sweet words and promises. Her anger may be softening occasionally, but her wounds are still very much alive.

The Murli-Sahana track also takes an interesting turn. Murli brings wonderful news home: Soni has topped the district, and he has received a promotion. Unfortunately, the promotion comes with a transfer to Lucknow. While Murli sees career growth, Kaushalya sees an opportunity. Her hidden excitement is impossible to miss as she quietly dreams of separating Murli and Sahana once again. Poor Sahana barely gets time to celebrate before worrying about her marriage all over again.

The real drama, however, belongs to Purvi.

Following Indu’s instructions perfectly, Purvi stages an emotional performance worthy of an award ceremony. She cries dramatically before Durgavati, claiming Sneha insulted her, asked her to leave the house, and even called her characterless. The accusations become more outrageous with every sentence, but Durgavati doesn’t stop to question any of it. She immediately believes Purvi and prepares for battle.

This is where the episode becomes frustrating. Sneha had actually tried to counsel Purvi and encourage her to move on from Siddhu. Instead, her words are twisted into a personal attack. Purvi knows exactly how to manipulate Durgavati’s emotions, and unfortunately, it works once again.

When Sneha comes downstairs, she walks straight into the storm.

Durgavati accuses her of insulting Purvi and demands an explanation. Sneha tries to clarify that she never called Purvi characterless and only offered advice. But logic is unwelcome in this conversation. Durgavati has already delivered her verdict before hearing the defense.

The confrontation escalates quickly when Durgavati gives Sneha a harsh ultimatum: apologize to Purvi or leave the house.

Sneha refuses.

And honestly, why should she apologize for something she never said?

What makes the scene powerful is Sneha’s confidence. She doesn’t back down, doesn’t cry, and doesn’t beg. Instead, she calmly states that if she has done nothing wrong, she has no reason to apologize. That quiet strength irritates Durgavati even more.

Just when the situation reaches boiling point, Siddhu returns home.

He walks into a full-scale family courtroom where the judgment has already been announced. Durgavati immediately informs him that Sneha must apologize or leave the house. Siddhu’s reaction is telling. Rather than blindly supporting anyone, he instantly says that Sneha isn’t capable of insulting someone without reason.

That single statement shows how much Siddhu’s trust in Sneha has grown.

The episode ends with Durgavati insisting that Siddhu is unable to see Sneha’s “real face,” while viewers are probably wondering when Durgavati herself will finally see Purvi’s real face.

Review Verdict: 4.5/5

This episode belongs entirely to Purvi’s manipulation and Sneha’s refusal to surrender. Tej’s dhaba drama, Indu’s scheming, and Murli’s transfer create strong side tracks, but the highlight is the explosive confrontation between Durgavati and Sneha. With Siddhu finally stepping into the conflict, the next chapter promises an even bigger showdown—and perhaps the beginning of Purvi’s lies slowly unraveling.
