Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 1st July 2026 Written Update: Tulsi Faces New Threat in Jail as Vaishnavi Searches for the Truth

The episode begins with Nandini declaring that her relationship with Tulsi has come to an end. She says she is no longer responsible for either the Virani family or Shantiniketan.

Meanwhile, Tulsi struggles to adjust to life behind bars. A powerful inmate notices the new prisoner and asks another inmate to find out everything about Tulsi’s past.

Later that night, Tulsi’s cellmate gets frightened after spotting a mouse. Soon, another inmate enters the cell, holds a knife to Tulsi’s throat, and taunts her for allegedly killing both her son and now her grandson.

Tulsi refuses to react or fight back. She quietly moves aside when ordered to sleep elsewhere.

The humiliating encounter brings back painful memories of Karan accusing her of being a terrible mother and holding her responsible for Parth’s death.

Elsewhere, Vaishnavi breaks down emotionally. Her friend notices her distress and asks what is troubling her.

Vaishnavi reveals that Parth had forced himself on her but says she lost consciousness during the incident and cannot remember everything that happened afterward.

Her friend advises her to uncover the complete truth.

The next day, Vaishnavi visits Tulsi in jail and desperately asks whether she really killed Parth.

Tulsi refuses to change her statement and once again accepts full responsibility for Parth’s death.

She asks Vaishnavi to take care of Shantiniketan after her.

However, Vaishnavi refuses, saying every member of the family looks at her with hatred.

Tulsi encourages her not to lose hope. She asks Vaishnavi to rebuild her life, dream again, and move forward despite everything she has endured.

Back at Shantiniketan, the Virani family gathers to decide who should take charge of the household in Tulsi’s absence.

Gomzy picks up the house keys and announces that he will handle the family’s responsibilities.

Karan immediately objects, insisting that Tulsi will never return to the house and angrily calls her a witch.

As the brothers argue over the future of the family, Baa steps in and settles the matter.

She declares that she will take charge of Shantiniketan until Tulsi returns.

Inside the prison, an influential inmate named Arundhati is shown extorting money from fellow prisoners.

When one inmate fails to pay, Arundhati publicly slaps her.

Unable to tolerate the injustice, Tulsi complains to the jail in-charge.

The officer refuses to interfere and advises Tulsi to stay away from Arundhati. He explains that Arundhati has powerful political connections, making it dangerous to take action against her, as she could even target the families of prison officials.

The episode ends.

Precap

After spending ten years in prison, Tulsi returns to Shantiniketan, where Karan stands against her and questions her place in the family.

Review

The episode successfully shifts the focus from the emotional aftermath of Parth’s death to Tulsi’s difficult journey inside prison. Arundhati’s introduction promises fresh conflict, while Vaishnavi’s determination to uncover the truth adds another compelling layer to the story. Baa’s decision to lead Shantiniketan also restores some emotional balance amid the family’s growing divisions.
