Anupama 4th July 2026 Written Update: Leela Tries to Leave the House as Prerna Faces an Emotional Breakdown
The episode begins with Jaya asking Banku to make all the final wedding arrangements, including bringing the band.
Ansh and Prerna eagerly ask what work they can do.
However, Anupama tells the bride and groom to simply relax and enjoy the celebrations.
Leela agrees, saying that Ansh and Prerna will already be exhausted after greeting guests and seeking blessings from all the relatives.
Despite everyone’s insistence, Ansh and Prerna still want to help with the preparations.
Meanwhile, Paritosh casually says he wants a facial before the wedding.
Hasmuk jokingly asks Anupama to give him one, and she happily agrees, making everyone smile.
Banku then comes up with a creative idea.
He suggests that Ansh and Prerna prepare their own wedding welcome board by writing their names on it.
The Shah family starts discussing who belongs to the bride’s side and who belongs to the groom’s side.
Digvijay announces that he has already planned everything, and Hasmuk immediately declares that Digvijay’s plan will be followed.
Paritosh looks visibly irritated.
As Ansh begins writing on the board, he and Prerna playfully argue about whose name should appear first.
Anupama settles the debate by saying that in their tradition, a woman’s name should come first.
Smiling, Ansh writes Prerna’s name before his own.
The emotional moment reminds Prerna of her family.
She quietly breaks down after remembering that not only her mother but even her brother and sister-in-law have refused to attend her wedding.
Concerned, Anupama asks what is bothering her.

Leela immediately reacts by saying that it is better this way because Prerna’s mother is no less than a witch, and her brother is just like her.
Deeply hurt, Prerna replies that despite all their faults, they are still her family.
She reminds Leela that even after everything Vanraj did, Leela still remembers and misses him.
Likewise, she cannot simply forget her own family.
Unable to control her emotions, Prerna walks away.
Ansh immediately follows her.
Leela feels insulted by Prerna’s words.
Taking advantage of the situation, Pakhi fuels the argument by saying that Prerna has not even entered the Shah family properly yet but has already made an elder cry.
Anupama firmly stops Pakhi from worsening the situation.
Leela insists that Pakhi is right and again claims that Prerna is not the right life partner for Ansh.
Anupama calmly reminds Leela that she was the one who started the argument in the first place.
Pakhi continues criticizing Prerna, saying she will always keep crying over her mother Rajni.
Hasmuk steps in to calm everyone.
He explains that children are not always like their parents. Just as Anupama’s children are different from her and Vanraj was different from him, Prerna should not be judged because of her family.
Rahi also supports Prerna.
She says there is nothing wrong in remembering one’s mother because no matter how flawed she may be, a mother is still a mother.
Her words leave Anupama silent and emotional.
Anupama once again requests Leela to stop judging Prerna.
Elsewhere, Ansh comforts an upset Prerna.
He gently tells her that while she was hurt, she should still remain respectful towards elders.
Trying to lighten her mood, Ansh dances in front of her until she finally smiles.
He happily tells her how excited he is to marry her.
Meanwhile, Leela asks someone to drop her at the railway station.
Hasmuk teasingly asks what new drama she has started now.
Leela complains that nobody in the house wants her anymore.
Hasmuk jokingly says everyone will happily celebrate once she leaves and even asks Paritosh to accompany her.
Paritosh immediately protests, asking why Hasmuk always targets him.
Leela becomes even more upset after hearing Hasmuk’s remarks.
Before she can leave, Digvijay stops her.
Leela laments that today’s generation neither respects elders nor knows how to speak politely.
She says that even if she made a mistake, Prerna should never have answered her back.
She also feels that Ansh has changed.
Both Ansh and Prerna request Leela to stay.
Anupama asks Prerna to handle the situation herself.
Prerna sincerely apologizes and finally convinces Leela to remain at home.
However, Leela warns her that if she ever argues again, she will personally throw her out of the house.
Digvijay happily declares that the matter has finally been resolved.
Anupama praises Prerna for handling the situation with maturity.
She then decides to go to the market to buy the remaining wedding items.
Before leaving, Anupama lovingly looks around the Shah house and proudly calls it her home.

Meanwhile, Paritosh confronts Prem and reveals that he knows Prem secretly stole Anupama’s diary. He demands 10% of the prize money in exchange for keeping quiet. Later, Kinjal discovers the diary is missing, and Paritosh publicly accuses Prem of stealing it.
