Sairaab 4th July 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Defends Her Bond with Ishaan, While Ujjaini Questions Their Relationship
The episode begins with Mini asking everyone to stop speaking negatively about Nayanika. Romeo says he feels bad hearing such accusations, while Rohan also stands up in Nayanika’s support.
Indrani questions why the younger generation is interfering when elders are talking. Ujjaini replies that they suddenly become “children” only because they express their opinions.
Neil says the priority should be finding out whether Nayanika is safe. He asks Indrani to call her immediately. Indrani agrees and puts the phone on speaker.
Meanwhile, Ishaan is happily singing the lyrics written by Nayanika when her phone rings.
Indrani asks Nayanika how she is doing and where she is staying.
Nayanika calmly replies that she is at Ishaan’s house.
The answer shocks everyone.
Indrani questions why she is spending the night at a stranger’s house. Nayanika responds that Ishaan is no stranger to her. She also reveals that she may not be able to return to Kolkata the next day.
Unable to control her emotions, Ujjaini sarcastically tells Nayanika to continue staying at Ishaan’s house and not return at all.
Indrani reminds Nayanika about Ena’s accusations and questions why she never returned after attending the seminar.
Nayanika firmly replies that she is 41 years old and fully capable of making her own decisions. She says she does not need anyone’s permission to decide where she stays or how she lives.
Indrani complains that Nayanika is doing whatever she wants without thinking about the family.
At that moment, Kaka tries to defend Nayanika. He suggests that perhaps she only met Ishaan to discuss her song lyrics and reminds everyone that Ishaan is much younger than her.
Nayanika immediately clarifies that their relationship is not like that.
She explains that she is staying at Ishaan’s house because he invited her. She also makes it clear that she does not see Ishaan as her younger brother, and Ishaan does not consider her his elder sister either.
Instead, she says they share a genuine friendship.
Nayanika adds that Ishaan lovingly cooked food for her, so she cannot disrespect his effort by refusing to eat. Before ending the call, she asks everyone to tell Ujjaini to trust her mother.
She then disconnects the phone.
Ujjaini breaks down in tears and says Nayanika has completely changed because she never used to speak this way.
Rusha asks Ujjaini not to misunderstand Nayanika and requests her to trust her.
Later, Ishaan praises Nayanika for standing up for herself.
He tells her that he knows her family will continue questioning her once she returns to Kolkata.
Nayanika says she only wishes Ujjaini would understand her feelings. She admits that, unlike others, Ishaan respects her choices and values her happiness.
Ishaan assures her that he will never leave her side unless she herself asks him to go. He openly says that he loves her deeply before gently wiping away her tears. He then resumes singing her beautiful lyrics.
Later, Ujjaini directly calls Ishaan.
She questions why he is keeping Nayanika at his house.
Ishaan calmly replies that if Ujjaini had visited Mumbai, he would have gladly invited her too. He says he has always received affection and respect from Nayanika’s family.
Still unconvinced, Ujjaini remarks that anyone trying to become part of the family so quickly must have hidden intentions.
Ishaan simply laughs.
Just then, Nayanika arrives and realizes Ishaan is speaking to Ujjaini.
Ishaan tells Ujjaini that the length of a relationship does not define its value. He points out that even Neil spent years with Nayanika before eventually leaving her alone.
Ujjaini criticizes him for bringing Neil into the conversation.
She reminds him that Nayanika had once refused to speak to him, yet now she calls him a friend.
Ishaan replies that Ujjaini is behaving selfishly and reminds her that Nayanika is not anyone’s property.
He also points out that instead of worrying about Nayanika’s health, Ujjaini has only questioned her decisions.
With that, Ishaan disconnects the call.
Nayanika asks him whether Ujjaini insulted him.
Smiling confidently, Ishaan tells her not to worry because he knows exactly how to deal with Ujjaini in his own way.
The episode ends.
