Instead of forcing his version of events upon her, Jalandhar challenged Anu to seek the answers herself. He confidently predicted that Arya would either avoid the truth or dismiss Rajnandini’s death as an accident. His confidence made the conversation unsettling, but what worked best was Anu’s response.
