Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 4th July 2026 Written Update: Tulsi Secretly Returns to Shantiniketan and Is Heartbroken by the Family Rift
The episode begins with Tulsi secretly entering Shantiniketan while hiding her identity behind a mask. The moment she steps inside, she is shocked to see that the once-united house has been divided into two separate sections.
One side of the mansion is bustling with guests and celebrations, while the other remains quiet and deserted.
Tulsi silently walks across the divided property before the house manager directs her to the kitchen. Inside, Maharaj asks her to stay on one particular side, explaining that he now works for Karan’s household, while the other section belongs to Gautam.
Meanwhile, Gautam and Damini warmly welcome their guests.
A media representative asks Gautam what makes the day so special.
Gautam proudly explains that the date holds sentimental value because Baa had planted the sacred Tulsi plant on this day years ago. He also announces the grand launch of Nakul’s hotel venture.
While giving the guests a tour, Gautam reveals that part of the Virani ancestral home has now been converted into a luxury hotel. He further announces that the hotel serves non-vegetarian food and alcoholic beverages.
Listening from the kitchen, Tulsi is devastated to learn that the family’s traditions and values have been abandoned.
Just then, the police arrive after receiving a complaint about the loud music.
To Gautam’s surprise, the complaint was filed by Karan.
The two brothers come face to face and immediately begin arguing.
Karan criticizes Gautam for disrespecting the family home, while Gautam proudly says he is simply celebrating the success of Nakul’s hotel.
Karan asks him to shift the celebrations to the hotel premises instead of disturbing everyone at Shantiniketan.
Confidently, Gautam produces the official permission papers for the event. After verifying the documents, the police inform Karan that the celebration is legal and they cannot stop it.
Once the officers leave, Gautam resumes the party.
Hidden from everyone, Tulsi silently watches as champagne is uncorked and wine is spilled inside Shantiniketan. The sight deeply wounds her, as she never imagined the sacred home would witness such changes.
Meanwhile, Karan asks Nandini to call the children.
To counter Gautam’s loud party music, Karan starts playing devotional bhajans at full volume.
The devotional songs irritate Gautam and his guests.
Smiling, Karan tells Nandini that it is simply “tit for tat” because everyone has the right to celebrate in their own way.
Uncomfortable with the atmosphere, many of Gautam’s guests decide to leave rather than disrespect the bhajans.
Frustrated, Gautam blames Karan for deliberately ruining his celebration.
The argument soon becomes personal.
Karan accuses Gautam of misusing their ancestral property for business, while Gautam proudly credits Nakul’s hard work for the hotel’s success.
Gautam calls Karan jealous and taunts him for failing to move on.
In return, Karan warns Gautam never to mention Tulsi’s name in front of him.
He bitterly declares that Tulsi is responsible for his son’s death and refuses to accept her as his mother.
Gautam reminds Karan that Tulsi loved him more than anyone else in the family.
However, Karan angrily says that he regrets ever calling Tulsi his mother and openly admits that he hates her.
Seeing the heated argument getting out of control, Damini pulls Gautam away.
Watching everything from a distance, Tulsi breaks down inside as she witnesses her own sons standing against each other because of her.
Later, the manager asks Tulsi to clean the dining table.
At that moment, Samira and Raunak arrive to meet Karan.
Tulsi quietly watches her grandchildren from afar while Karan informs them that Garima is asleep.
The episode ends.

Nandini tells Karan that Tulsi is about to be released from prison and wishes to return to Shantiniketan. However, Karan firmly refuses to let her enter the house.
