Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 12th July 2026 Written Update: Abhira Accepts the Biggest Challenge of Her Career
Today’s episode begins with Kaveri emotionally telling Abhira that the Poddar firm is not just a business but a part of their family. She says every battle needs its bravest soldier, and today she wants Abhira to fight for the family’s pride. Kaveri blesses Abhira and expresses complete faith in her abilities.
One by one, the Poddar family members step forward to support Abhira. Manisha requests her to save the firm’s reputation before it is too late. Madhav also encourages her to accept the responsibility, reminding her that everyone believes in her. Kajal says the innocent employees and loyal clients should not suffer because of Sanjay and Krish’s mistakes. Manoj emotionally asks Abhira to protect everything they have built over the years, while Aryan also pleads with her to take charge.
Tanya notices that Abhira is still hesitating and asks why someone as courageous as her is feeling scared. Watching everyone persuade her, Arman jokingly tells Abhira to stop taking so much “footage” and simply say yes. His light-hearted comment eases the tension. Finally, Abhira agrees to join the firm, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces. The Poddar family celebrates her decision with relief and happiness.
However, Sanjay refuses to let the matter end so easily. He reminds everyone that Abhira cannot officially take charge unless the board of directors approves her appointment through a vote. Arman immediately asks everyone to arrange the board meeting, determined to prove Abhira deserves the position.
Later, Arman and Abhira prepare together for the important meeting. While organizing the documents, Arman continuously motivates Abhira and assures her that she is capable of handling every challenge ahead.
Elsewhere, Myra and Mukti secretly observe Arman and Abhira together and cannot stop admiring their beautiful relationship. Watching the way Arman supports Abhira at every step, Myra dreams of finding a life partner exactly like him. Mukti laughs and says men like Arman hardly exist anymore because very few husbands are so supportive and free from jealousy.
Myra smiles and says there is nothing wrong with dreaming. She believes that one day the right person will find her on his own. Mukti wishes her dream comes true, and together they paint a beautiful picture of Arman and Abhira. As they continue watching them, both are touched to see Arman gently easing Abhira’s stress and comforting her before the big meeting.
Meanwhile, Arman reminds Abhira that winning the board’s confidence will depend entirely on how she presents herself. Abhira becomes emotional, leaving Arman surprised.
When Arman asks what happened, Abhira tells him she feels incredibly lucky to have a husband who never feels insecure about her success. She says many relationships are destroyed because of ego and jealousy, but Arman has always celebrated her achievements instead of competing with her. Arman smiles warmly and once again encourages her to believe in herself.
At the same time, another problem unfolds within the family.
Kajal notices a bracelet in Krish’s pocket and assumes he has finally decided to rebuild his relationship with Tanya. Meanwhile, Tanya informs Krish that she will soon shift to her new house. Krish requests her to stay back and leave the past behind. Tanya questions him, asking whether he is not tired of fighting endlessly.
Seeing the bracelet, Kajal happily tells Tanya that Krish has changed and even bought a gift for her. However, Tanya refuses to accept it because she has already decided to move forward with her life.
Moments later, Kajal is shocked to see another girl take the bracelet from Krish. Realizing the gift was never meant for Tanya, she angrily confronts him.
Krish casually admits that once Tanya leaves, he cannot spend his life alone and has decided to move on with someone else. Furious at his insensitive attitude, Kajal slaps Krish across the face.
Heartbroken by everything that has happened, Kajal decides she no longer wants to live with either Sanjay or Krish. She resolves to leave both of them behind and begin a new life alongside Tanya.
Back at the office, Sanjay continues questioning Abhira’s ability to lead such an established law firm. Confidently, Abhira shocks him by revealing that Malhotra has agreed to speak with her.
Arman and Abhira meet Malhotra and sincerely apologize for everything that happened earlier. They assure him that instead of dragging the matter through a lengthy court battle, they want to resolve the dispute outside court through a practical settlement.
Malhotra, however, refuses to trust the Poddar firm again after everything he has experienced. Rather than arguing, Abhira calmly asks him to hear her strategy once before making his final decision. Her confidence and professionalism begin leaving an impression.
Back at the office, Sanjay compares his years of legal experience with Abhira’s relatively shorter career and insists that experience matters more than confidence.
Abhira calmly replies that perhaps Sanjay’s real problem is not experience but his bruised ego because he might eventually have to hand over the firm to her.
She then proposes a bold challenge.
Abhira announces that she will officially take charge of the Poddar firm only if she succeeds in winning Malhotra’s case and restoring his faith in the firm. If she fails, she will not demand the position.
Sanjay immediately accepts the challenge, convinced that Abhira will fail.
Without wasting any time, Abhira asks Sanjay to hand over Malhotra’s case file so she can begin preparing.
Instead of cooperating, Sanjay deliberately throws the file on the floor in front of everyone, openly insulting Abhira and trying to discourage her.
Rather than reacting emotionally, Abhira quietly picks up the file, determined to prove herself and win the toughest battle of her legal career.
