Sairaab 16th July 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Rushes to Mumbai After Ishaan Goes Missing

The episode begins with Bishu calling Nayanika with shocking news. He tells her that Ishaan has been missing since the previous day. Nayanika is left stunned and immediately asks what happened. Bishu explains that he has already contacted all of Ishaan’s friends, but no one knows where he is. Worried, he says he finally decided to call her.

Nayanika reveals that Ishaan has not been answering her calls either. Bishu becomes emotional and wonders what he will tell Ishaan’s mother if something happens to him. Determined to find him, Nayanika assures Bishu that she will reach Mumbai the very next day and asks him not to lose hope before ending the call.

Elsewhere, Malini discusses Nayanika’s treatment with the family. She says Nayanika still hasn’t decided where she wants to undergo treatment, so she doubts she will agree to stay with them. Jaydeep declares that he will personally convince Nayanika.

Madhavi argues that Nayanika has every right to stay in her parents’ house. Feeling guilty, Jaydeep admits that he should have brought Nayanika home much earlier.

Malini points out that Nayanika is an independent working woman and that Ujjaini has been raised well in their family. Madhavi disagrees and says Malini can never truly understand everything Nayanika sacrificed. She reminds everyone that Nayanika endured immense hardships from the Basu family only to secure a better future for Ujjaini.

Malini says life is unfair and many women share similar struggles. However, Madhavi insists that the Basu family definitely wronged Nayanika before asking Jaydeep to leave because they are getting late.

Later, Nayanika meets Subhash and requests leave from work beginning the next day. Subhash immediately grants her permission.

Left alone, Nayanika grows increasingly anxious about Ishaan’s disappearance. She silently prays for his safety and recalls all the precious moments they have spent together before breaking down in tears.

Meanwhile, at college, Shisho notices that Ujjaini looks unusually happy and asks the reason.

Ujjaini happily says that all her confusion regarding Nayanika and Ishaan’s relationship has finally disappeared. She then gives Shisho a yellow rose and teasingly reminds him not to misunderstand her gesture because yellow roses symbolize friendship. Shisho simply smiles without saying anything.

Later, Nayanika arrives at the college to pick up Ujjaini. Shisho notices her and comments that Ujjaini has made him much more mature.

Ujjaini asks Nayanika whether she is feeling alright. Nayanika smiles and says she was missing her daughter, which is why she came personally to bring her home.

Back at home, Nayanika begins packing her luggage for Mumbai.

Ujjaini tells her that she and Shisho will come to Mumbai later.

Just then, Madhavi and Jaydeep arrive. Ujjaini informs them that Nayanika has decided to leave for Mumbai the following day.

Jaydeep says they would have accompanied her if she had informed them earlier. Nayanika explains that she made the decision only today.

Shreya comments that since Ishaan is already in Mumbai, Nayanika will not face any difficulties there.

Ujjaini immediately objects, saying Ishaan has no relationship with their family.

Shreya replies that despite having no relationship, Ishaan has always done so much for Nayanika. She even suggests that if the doctors allow it, Nayanika could stay at Ishaan’s house during her treatment.

Nayanika firmly asks Shreya not to interfere in her personal life. She then comforts Ujjaini, asking her not to worry and instead focus on her studies.

Shreya says she only wanted Ishaan’s phone number so she could receive updates about Nayanika’s health.

Nayanika remarks that Shreya seems to think about Ishaan all the time. Shreya clarifies that she is only concerned about Nayanika before quietly leaving the room.

Finally, Ujjaini hugs her mother emotionally before Nayanika prepares for her journey to Mumbai.

The episode ends.

Precap

Indrani taunts Nayanika for choosing Mumbai for treatment instead of accepting Neil’s help. Nayanika firmly replies that Neil has his own family now and should focus on them. Ujjaini strongly defends her mother, saying no one truly cares about Nayanika except her.

Review

The episode shifts the focus toward Ishaan’s mysterious disappearance, creating genuine suspense while deepening Nayanika’s emotional journey. Her decision to rush to Mumbai highlights how important Ishaan has become in her life, even as she struggles to accept her feelings. Family discussions, Ujjaini’s protective nature, and the growing emotional connection between Nayanika and Ishaan keep the narrative engaging ahead of the Mumbai track.
