Sairaab 18th July 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Files a Police Complaint as Ishaan’s Kidnapper Issues a Deadly Ultimatum
The episode begins with Nayanika and Bishu reaching the police station to report Ishaan’s disappearance. Nayanika informs the police inspector that Ishaan has been missing for the past two days and requests him to keep the matter confidential. The inspector assures her that since Ishaan is a celebrity, they will not make the case public without necessity.
The inspector asks for more details about the incident. Bishu explains that Ishaan had left alone in his car before disappearing. The inspector says they will immediately start tracking Ishaan’s phone location. He also asks whether Ishaan had any recent arguments or enemies.
Bishu denies any such incident but mentions Ena’s behavior. Curious, the inspector asks if there is a love triangle involved. Nayanika firmly clarifies that Ishaan is only her friend and that Ena simply cannot accept their friendship. She requests the police to find Ishaan as quickly as possible. The inspector collects Nayanika’s contact number and assures them that the investigation will begin immediately. He also remarks that celebrities sometimes disappear for personal trips without informing anyone.
However, Nayanika refuses to believe that possibility. She confidently tells the inspector that Ishaan is a responsible person who would never leave without informing his loved ones. The inspector silently acknowledges her faith in him.
Meanwhile, Shisho asks Ujjaini whether Nayanika contacted her after reaching Mumbai. Ujjaini replies that Nayanika did call and says she has already warned her mother not to break her trust. Shisho notices Ujjaini becoming increasingly possessive and asks whether she is behaving selfishly. Ujjaini admits that she cannot tolerate anyone changing Nayanika’s life or taking her away from her.
Later, Bishu requests Nayanika to have something to eat, but she refuses, saying she has no appetite while Ishaan remains missing. She points out that Bishu himself has not eaten anything either. Worried, Nayanika wonders whether Ishaan might have been kidnapped. She also asks if they should inform Ishaan’s mother or check whether he secretly visited her. Bishu dismisses the idea, explaining that Ishaan’s mother had entrusted him with taking care of Ishaan.
Elsewhere, the mystery behind Ishaan’s disappearance is finally revealed.
The kidnapper confronts Ishaan and declares that he will not release him until he receives all of Ishaan’s money. Ishaan boldly refuses to surrender his wealth. Furious, the kidnapper gives him 24 hours to change his decision and threatens to kill him if he refuses before walking away.
Back in Kolkata, Shreya tells Indrani that they still don’t know where Nayanika is staying in Mumbai. Rusha reminds Shreya that she never truly cared for Nayanika while she was living in Kolkata. Indrani suggests making a video call to find out.
Shreya calls Nayanika and asks where she is staying. Nayanika reveals that she is currently staying at Ishaan’s house. Indrani is surprised because Nayanika had never mentioned this earlier. Jaya feels relieved that Nayanika is staying in a safe home instead of a hotel.
Nayanika then shocks everyone by revealing that she is not getting admitted to the hospital the next day as originally planned.
Indrani criticizes her decision, saying Ujjaini will never approve of it. Shreya questions why Nayanika rushed to Mumbai for treatment only to postpone her admission. Nayanika firmly replies that Shreya has no right to question her personal decisions.
Indrani insists that she deserves an explanation and asks whether Ujjaini knows about this change. Nayanika admits that she hasn’t informed Ujjaini yet but maintains that she is not doing anything wrong. She then ends the video call, leaving everyone confused.
