Anupama 20th July 2026 Written Update: Prerna Demands Her Share as Anupama Hides Her Pain
Today’s episode begins with Rahi stopping Pari from sitting down after Anupama gets injured. She immediately asks Anupama if she is alright. Digvijay also expresses concern, but Anupama insists that she is perfectly fine and doesn’t need a doctor. She tells both Rahi and Pari to return to work and asks Pari to be more careful. Rahi decides to stay close to Pari and look after her. Once everyone leaves, Anupama quietly breaks down in pain. Shruti notices her suffering from a distance.
Elsewhere, Prerna asks Ishani who decides the competition tasks. Ishani explains that the creative team prepares them. She regrets failing the previous task, while Prerna points out that Prem is controlling every member of his team. Both of them discuss how Prem’s behavior has completely changed.
Meanwhile, Prem notices the broken glass and questions the damage. Shruti confronts him, reminding him that investors have already started questioning her because of the restaurant’s poor performance. She warns him that losing the competition is not an option. Shruti also questions why he stopped Rahi and Pari from checking on Anupama. She asks him to think beyond his personal rivalry and focus on the business.
Ishani worries that Prem’s growing pressure could push him into making a huge mistake. Prerna remarks that under pressure, Prem might end up making an even bigger mistake than stealing.
Shruti continues questioning Prem. In response, Prem confidently says that after winning the prize money, he will repay both the investors and Shruti. He reveals that his ultimate goal is to become the owner of the restaurant himself. Rahi tries to calm the situation by saying Shruti didn’t mean to hurt him, but Prem makes it clear that he is completely serious, leaving Shruti stunned.
At the Shah house, Leela gets upset after seeing Prerna wearing a short dress. She declares that the daughter-in-law of the house cannot dress like that. Prerna firmly defends her choice of clothing, while Ishani also supports her. Leela calls Ansh to complain. Prerna questions why daughters and daughters-in-law are judged differently. She then shocks everyone by demanding her rightful share from Anupama so she can build her own house and live freely. Anupama and Leela are left speechless.
Meanwhile, Rahi confronts Shruti, reminding her that she had warned her not to provoke Prem. She says Prem has now turned against Shruti as well. Gautam approaches Shruti and tries to manipulate her further, but Shruti asks him to leave immediately.
Back at the Shah house, Anupama supports Prerna. She tells Leela not to judge someone based on their clothes. Their argument intensifies. Pakhi notices the housing brochure in Anupama’s hand and accuses her of planning to build her own house while abandoning the Shah family.
On the other hand, Prem and Rahi share an emotional moment. Rahi says she wants Prem to win the competition because she hopes victory will bring back the caring Prem she once knew.
Pakhi continues pressuring Anupama, insisting that if she wins the competition, Ishani deserves a share of the prize money too. She refuses to let Anupama spend everything on her dream house. Digvijay steps in and criticizes Pakhi for ignoring Anupama’s injured hand. He asks her to stop being selfish and advises Anupama to take proper care of herself.
Leela decides to prepare herbal kadha for Anupama, but Anupama tells her that the best cure would be to stop hurting Prerna. Pakhi again fuels Leela’s insecurities by claiming that after winning the competition, Anupama might leave the Shah family and move in with Digvijay, leaving everyone behind.
Later, Anupama looks at her injured hand and silently speaks to Anuj, admitting that the pain is becoming unbearable.
At the same time, Prem worries about the upcoming competition. While he desperately wants to defeat Anupama, he also hopes she does not get disqualified because of her injury. He believes his victory will only matter if he defeats her fairly.
