Bareilly Ke Bacchan 20th July 2026 Written Update: Krishna Confesses His Love, Leaving Sangam Shocked
The episode begins with Ajab telling his sons that Krishna’s marriage may have taken place at the police station, but they must now celebrate it properly at home. He says a grand function is necessary to silence the neighbours’ gossip and prove that the Bachchan family has wholeheartedly accepted their new daughter-in-law. After giving his instructions, Ajab leaves.
Satlaj remarks that Ajab is right for the first time. Ganga suggests that instead of repeating the wedding rituals, they should organize a grand reception because the marriage has already taken place. Everyone agrees and immediately begins preparing a list of everything needed for the celebration.
Meanwhile, Sangam searches for an opportunity to meet her father.
Ajab asks his sons when Krishna and Sangam will return. Ganga says they are expected to arrive the next morning. Ajab orders the family to organize the reception by the following evening. When Satlaj points out that there is very little time, Ajab reminds everyone that Krishna got married within a single day, so arranging a reception in one day should not be impossible.
Ganga suggests selecting a suitable venue first, but Ajab insists the celebration should be held at their own house. Ganga wants to take Krishna’s permission before making arrangements, but Mahi says there is no need to ask. The family enthusiastically begins preparing for the grand reception. Meanwhile, Satlaj lovingly installs a cooler in Sangam’s room to make her feel comfortable after she returns home.
At the hospital, Sangam overhears a nurse informing Raghuvendra’s family that he is now out of danger and that they will soon be allowed to meet him. Relieved, Sangam thanks God.
Elsewhere, Rajendra calls Krishna and reminds him to return the jeep the same day, warning that his father will be furious otherwise. Krishna explains that his life has completely changed after the marriage. Rajendra requests him to return the vehicle at least the next morning. Krishna silently thinks that Sangam is now his wife and he cannot leave her alone during such a difficult time.
Taking advantage of the situation while her mother is asleep, Sangam secretly tries to enter Raghuvendra’s hospital room. However, Nirgun stops her and harshly declares that she lost every right to meet her father the moment she ran away and married Krishna, whom he dismissively calls a driver.
Sangam tearfully pleads for just one meeting with her father, but Nirgun angrily replies that he will indeed make her meet him.
Meanwhile, Mahi calls Krishna and excitedly reveals that the family is planning a surprise for him. Krishna smiles and says he would rather let it remain a surprise before ending the call.
Inside the hospital room, Nirgun asks Raghuvendra whether he wants to meet Sangam. Raghuvendra refuses. Nirgun then cruelly prevents Sangam from even seeing her father’s face and forcefully throws her out of the room.
As Sangam stumbles, Krishna catches her before she falls. Nirgun insults Krishna once again by calling him a mere driver and declares that both he and Sangam are dead to the family. After Nirgun leaves, Krishna comforts the devastated Sangam and tells her that this is not the right time. He promises that one day he will reunite her with her father.
The next day, Ganga and Mahi begin inviting the colony residents to Krishna and Sangam’s reception. The neighbours mock them, claiming Sangam has already abandoned Krishna and will never return.
Ganga also visits Bhushan’s house to personally invite his family. Pooja happily asks whether Ganga has come to see her, but Ganga politely says he has only come to invite everyone to Krishna’s reception. Bhushan and his wife laugh at the invitation, insisting that Sangam will never return and that no reception will actually happen. They sarcastically promise to attend only to enjoy the drama.
Later, Sangam shares her heartbreak with Krishna. She says she cannot understand why her own family refuses to listen to her. She reminds him that she had repeatedly told them Vicky was not the right person for her, but no one believed her, leaving her with no choice except to run away. She also says she never got an opportunity to explain that their marriage was originally meant to be fake.
Sangam then asks Krishna why he has done so much for her despite everything that has happened.
Krishna finally reveals his true feelings and softly says, “Because I love you.”
His unexpected confession leaves Sangam completely stunned.
