Anupama 24th July 2026 Written Update: Anupama Breaks Down After Her Crushing Defeat, While Prem Refuses to Celebrate
Today’s episode begins with Anupama standing before Anuj’s photograph, unable to hold back her tears. She tells him that her dream of building a home of her own has been shattered. Holding his picture close, she cries bitterly, blaming herself for losing the competition despite once being known as the “Kitchen King.” Frustrated and heartbroken, she accidentally hits her injured hand, saying she has lost everything she had worked so hard for.
Meanwhile, Shruti excitedly asks Prem and Rahi to cut the celebration cake. She says they can gossip about the competition afterward and urges them to hurry. However, Prem refuses to celebrate.
Prem openly admits that he is angry because Anupama lost due to her injured hand and the lack of coordination within her team. He says he never wanted her journey to end like this. Prem declares that he always wished to defeat Anupama fairly in the finale, not see her eliminated because of unfortunate circumstances. He taunts Gautam, saying he was never afraid of competing against Anupama, but now his victory feels incomplete. Prem asks Shruti to celebrate alone because he has no reason to be happy. His words leave Rahi and the entire Kothari family stunned.
Elsewhere, Digvijay quietly visits Anupama’s room and finds her still awake.
Instead of bringing medicine, he says he researched traditional remedies and prepares a warm compress using medicinal leaves to ease her pain. As he tends to her injured hand, Anupama apologizes to him for failing to fulfill her dream. She calls herself a disappointing friend.
Digvijay immediately stops her.
He reminds Anupama that she has already given him more than he ever imagined. She helped him establish Saavi’s Café, gave him a family, and even earned him the right to lovingly scold his children. He says her kindness has transformed many lives, and one lost competition cannot erase everything she has achieved. Although he regrets seeing her dream remain incomplete, he refuses to let her lose hope.
Back at the café, Shruti notices Rahi cleaning the place herself and tells her to leave the work for the staff. Instead, Rahi confronts Shruti.
She firmly tells Shruti that it wasn’t Prem who spoiled the celebration—it was Shruti herself. Rahi accuses her of using Prem as a pawn in her personal rivalry against Anupama. She says Shruti should have focused on improving the business instead of celebrating someone else’s defeat.
Pari appreciates Rahi for finally speaking up.
Rahi further says Shruti never truly believed Prem could defeat Anupama on merit if she had remained in the competition. Vasundhara disagrees and insists Prem would have won anyway. Khyati, however, feels Anupama simply had bad luck because time was against her. Anil and Rajat also criticize Shruti’s insensitive behavior.
Seeing Shruti isolated, Gautam sarcastically offers her a toffee instead of sweets to celebrate Anupama’s defeat. He reminds Shruti that he had warned her Rahi still cared deeply for Anupama. Shruti is left speechless.
Later, Digvijay continues encouraging Anupama.
He tells her that it is perfectly normal to sit with her pain and disappointment for a while. However, he reminds her that darkness is never permanent. After grieving, she must stand up once again and continue chasing her dream of building her own house. His words leave Anupama thoughtful.
Elsewhere, Rahi brings water for Prem while he reads the latest news about the competition.
Prem says the competition will remain in his heart forever because he never truly defeated Anupama. He admits he would have been proud only if he had beaten her fairly in the finale. Rahi becomes emotional hearing his honesty. She silently wishes fate had been kinder to Anupama.
Unable to control herself, Rahi calls Anupama.
For a few moments, she remains silent.
Anupama immediately recognizes her daughter’s silence and gently says that her mother has lost. Fighting back tears, she admits that she failed to build her dream home. Although she already has a roof over her head, she feels as though she has lost everything because, for the first time in her life, she dared to dream for herself—and failed.
Rahi comforts her.
She asks Anupama not to lose courage and assures her that one defeat cannot decide her future. With complete faith in her mother, Rahi says Anupama will definitely build her own house one day.
The emotional conversation gives Anupama a small ray of hope as the episode comes to an end.

Anupama’s heartbreak after losing the competition was portrayed beautifully, while Prem’s refusal to celebrate showed his respect for fair competition. Digvijay once again emerged as one of the strongest emotional supports in Anupama’s life, and Rahi’s heartfelt encouragement provided the perfect ending. The episode successfully highlighted that true victories are earned through resilience, not just trophies.
