Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 4th August 2026 Written Update: Armaan Slaps Samar, While Myra’s 18th Birthday Brings Joy and New Beginnings

Today’s episode begins with Samar asking Arman to write down the amount he wants in exchange for withdrawing from the case. Furious at the offer, Arman slaps Samar across the face. He tells Samar that he may have enough wealth to buy the world, but he can never buy Arman Poddar.

The confrontation quickly turns into a heated fight.

Abhira rushes in and separates them. She asks Arman what happened. Arman angrily reveals that Samar tried to bribe him into abandoning the case, and that is why he slapped him.

Abhira understands his anger but tells him he should never have taken the law into his own hands. She reminds Arman that they fight for justice through legal means, not violence.

Although still furious, Arman remains silent. Abhira wonders how badly Samar must have been hurt if Arman himself is still so angry after the incident.

Meanwhile, Raghav tells Samar that Arman’s slap was not just an insult but a serious attack. He believes Arman crossed the line. Bhairavi advises both Raghav and Samar to handle the matter calmly, assuring them that if they fail, she will step in herself.

Later, Arman instructs the resort staff to complete all the arrangements for Myra’s birthday celebration.

Seeing that Arman is still upset, Abhira playfully pushes him into the swimming pool to cool him down. Arman immediately pulls Abhira into the water with him. The couple shares a light-hearted romantic moment and talks about keeping the romance alive even as they grow older. They also express their excitement for Myra’s special day.

Elsewhere, Kabir accidentally slips outside the changing room. Embarrassed by the situation, he searches for a towel but mistakenly picks up Arman’s towel.

Inside the changing room, Arman shouts for his towel and demands that it be returned.

Realizing his mistake, Kabir quickly runs away with the towel before Arman catches him.

When Arman spots him, he gets irritated and calls Kabir ill-mannered. He even thinks that Kabir’s entire family needs proper discipline.

At the same time, Raghav tries to locate Arman’s room but the resort staff refuse to share the details. While walking away, Raghav slips, and Myra immediately helps him.

Impressed by her kindness, Raghav praises Myra. She excitedly tells him that she is eagerly waiting for midnight because she will finally turn eighteen.

As the clock strikes twelve, the entire Poddar family surprises Myra with a heartfelt birthday celebration.

Myra becomes emotional seeing everyone gathered together for her special day.

Meanwhile, Samar and Raghav walk nearby but fail to notice the Poddar family celebrating.

During the birthday celebration, Arman asks Myra whether she wants to become a lawyer in the future.

Myra replies that she has not decided yet.

Arman then asks Mukti about her future plans, and she happily shares her dreams.

Abhira interrupts Arman and reminds him that it is Myra’s birthday, not a career counselling session. She asks him to let Myra enjoy her special day.

Arman insists that if Myra wants to study law, she should begin preparing early.

Kaveri jokingly asks Myra when she plans to make a boyfriend.

Arman immediately reacts, becoming protective once again.

One by one, every family member gives Myra advice for adulthood.

Kaveri asks her to take life slowly.

Madhav tells her never to lose her kindness.

Manoj advises her to enjoy life but always stay within limits.

Vidya reminds her to eat healthy food.

Manisha encourages her to exercise regularly and take care of her skin.

Kajal and Sanjay also offer their blessings and advice.

Abhira tells Myra to become financially independent and stand on her own feet.

Finally, Arman emotionally tells Myra never to feel alone because he will always stand beside her. He also asks her to stay alert and careful in life.

Mukti lightens the emotional atmosphere by asking Myra to simply relax and enjoy life too.

Later, Abhira sends Mukti to bring something for the celebration.

On her way, Mukti accidentally overhears Raghav and Samar discussing their plan to settle scores with Arman.

Alarmed, she immediately informs Arman.

Trying not to worry her, Arman jokes that perhaps they are searching for another Samar, though deep down he realizes the Damanis are indeed looking for him.

Elsewhere, Bhairavi instructs Raghav and Samar to pack their bags because they are returning home. She tells them to stay focused on the case instead of creating unnecessary trouble.

Meanwhile, Nandini admires a decorative showpiece at the resort.

A staff member informs her that it has already been sold.

Abhira kindly tells Nandini to keep it if she likes it, but Nandini quietly avoids her and walks away.

Towards the end, Myra accidentally bumps into Kabir once again. The two argue playfully.

After learning that it is Myra’s eighteenth birthday, Kabir thinks he should buy her a gift since fate has made them cross paths twice already.

The episode ends.

Precap: The Poddars continue celebrating Myra’s 18th birthday. Myra receives a surprise gift and wonders whether Kabir has sent it. Meanwhile, Arman and Abhira pray that Myra always remains safe and protected from every evil eye.

Review:

The episode balances courtroom drama with warm family emotions. Arman’s integrity shines as he refuses Samar’s bribe, though Abhira rightly reminds him that justice must remain within the law. The midnight birthday celebration is filled with heartfelt family moments, while Kabir’s repeated encounters with Myra hint at the beginning of an interesting new chapter. The growing rivalry between Arman and the Damanis also promises more intense drama ahead.

Rating: 4.4/5
