Sairaab 5th August 2026 Written Update: Ujjaini Gives Nayanika One Last Chance, Ishaan Walks Into the Basu House
The episode begins with Ujjaini confronting Nayanika and asking whether she feels no shame after everything that has happened. Nayanika explains that she only realized what had happened after Ishaan filled her forehead with vermilion, and by then she couldn’t stop him. Ujjaini directly asks whether Nayanika wants to marry Ishaan. Holding back her tears, Nayanika says she has sacrificed her own happiness and promises to cut all ties with Ishaan forever. She assures Ujjaini that her daughter will remain the only priority in her life. Ujjaini breaks down, and the emotional mother and daughter embrace each other. Meanwhile, Ishaan happily believes that Nayanika has accepted him as her husband and vows never to let her go.
The next morning, Neil tells Ujjaini that he still has responsibilities as her father and wants to fulfill them. He offers to pay all her medical bills. Before Ujjaini can respond, Nayanika informs everyone that Ujjaini’s medical insurance has already covered the expenses because she submitted all the required documents. Ujjaini tells Neil that she doesn’t need his help. Angana immediately taunts Nayanika, saying Neil was the one who rushed Ujjaini to the hospital while Nayanika was busy enjoying her life. Ujjaini defends her mother and asks Angana to mind her language. She reminds everyone that Nayanika has already accepted every condition she placed before her.
Neil offers to drop Ujjaini home, but she refuses and says she can travel by taxi. Angana sarcastically tells Neil not to waste his efforts because Ishaan will never leave Nayanika now that they are married. Before leaving, Ujjaini reminds Nayanika not to forget the promise she made. Nayanika assures her that she will never break it.
Elsewhere, Bishu questions Ishaan about visiting Nayanika’s house directly. Ishaan admits they have no other option and hopes Nayanika is safe.
Back at the Basu house, Indrani welcomes Ujjaini home but immediately objects to Nayanika’s arrival. She declares that there is no place for Nayanika in the family anymore. Other family members also criticize her, blaming her for bringing disgrace to the household. Jaydeep says Nayanika is suffering because of her own decisions and questions why she has returned.
Ujjaini shocks everyone by revealing that she personally asked Nayanika to come home. Neil says he cannot stay in the house if Nayanika remains there. While Rohan and Mini support Nayanika, Rusha refuses to accept her. Ujjaini strongly defends her mother, reminding Angana that she herself destroyed Nayanika’s family and has no right to judge anyone. She also reminds Neil that he cheated in his marriage, making him equally guilty. Turning to her grandfather, Ujjaini says she understands everyone’s anger but believes Nayanika deserves one last chance after everything she has done for her. She reveals that Nayanika has completely ended her relationship with Ishaan and explains that the vermilion incident was nothing but an accident.
Indrani reluctantly agrees to let Nayanika stay but imposes strict conditions. She declares that Nayanika cannot enter the kitchen, the temple, or interfere in any household matters. Ujjaini accepts the conditions on behalf of her mother but asks everyone not to insult Nayanika anymore. At Ujjaini’s request, Nayanika publicly promises never to have any personal relationship with Ishaan again. When Neil questions whether she will also avoid professional contact, Nayanika refuses to answer him and repeats that only Ujjaini matters in her life.
Later, Nayanika helps Ujjaini settle into her room. After Ujjaini falls asleep, Nayanika remembers her precious moments with Ishaan and silently prays that he forgets her because her daughter’s happiness now comes before everything else.
Just then, a major twist unfolds as Ishaan arrives at the Basu house. The entire family is stunned to see him standing at the doorstep.
