Seher Hone Ko Hai 7th August 2026 Written Update: Mahid Announces His Engagement with Seher, Insha Feels Threatened
The episode begins with Mahid telling Seher that he has spoken to Dr. Farid about changing his doctor. He says she has already gone through enough because of him, and he doesn’t want to trouble her anymore. Instead, he prefers another doctor to continue his treatment. Seher is left speechless. She struggles to respond, unsure whether Mahid is distancing himself for her sake or trying to hide his feelings.
Just then, Insha calls Mahid. Seher answers the phone, surprising Insha, who immediately asks her to hand the phone over to Mahid.
Insha reminds Mahid that it is Kaiz’s hospital appointment day. She tells him she first went to the Niyazi Mansion looking for him, but when she couldn’t find him there, she came directly to the hospital. Mahid asks her to wait while he comes to meet them.
Ignoring his own condition, Mahid begins removing his IV drip. Seher immediately stops him and reminds him that his treatment is incomplete. She questions how he can leave without thinking about his health.
Mahid emotionally explains that Kaiz means everything to him. Having grown up without a father himself, he sees his younger self in Kaiz. He says the little boy depends on him emotionally, and he cannot disappoint him.
Touched by his words, Seher tells Mahid that he doesn’t need to justify himself. She understands exactly why Kaiz is so special to him. She asks him to stay back and rest, assuring him that she will personally take care of Kaiz.
Before she leaves, Mahid makes one request. He asks Seher not to reveal anything about his illness to Kaiz because the child will become worried. Seher quietly agrees.
Soon, Kaiz excitedly runs toward Mahid, but Seher gently diverts his attention. She asks Insha to accompany her so Kaiz can undergo his scheduled medical tests.
However, Insha refuses to cooperate. She bluntly says she called Mahid for help, not Seher.
Seher calmly reminds her that Mahid himself requested her to help Kaiz. Whether Mahid comes personally or sends her, the intention remains the same.
Realising Insha is uncomfortable with her presence, Seher confronts her directly.
She tells Insha that sooner or later she must accept the fact that she is Mahid’s fiancée.
Insha replies that Kaiz brought happiness back into Mahid’s lonely life. She fears Seher will once again break Mahid’s heart and destroy that happiness.
Seher firmly asks Insha who gave her the right to interfere in their personal relationship.
Insha says she is only speaking out of humanity because she cannot bear to see Mahid suffer again.
Seher responds emotionally. She explains that Insha knows nothing about the journey she and Mahid have shared. Their relationship cannot be understood from the outside. According to Seher, an invisible thread still connects their hearts no matter how much they try to walk away from each other.
She admits she cannot explain that bond in words and advises Insha to stay away from matters that belong only to her and Mahid.
Meanwhile, Husna secretly arrives at the hospital disguised to hide her identity. She quietly inquires about Seher.
Amal unknowingly speaks warmly about Seher while answering Husna’s questions. Listening carefully, Husna realises Amal has been secretly helping Seher all along. She immediately begins thinking of ways to use Amal as Seher’s weakness in her next conspiracy.
Elsewhere, Mahid calls a nurse and awkwardly asks what kind of gift a girl would like.
The nurse curiously asks whether there is someone special.
Without thinking, Mahid blurts out that he is engaged to Seher.
The nurse happily congratulates him, leaving Mahid slightly embarrassed after realising he revealed his personal life so casually.
At the same time, Haider notices that Insha looks disturbed.
He offers her medicine for her headache before deliberately provoking her against Seher.
Haider suggests that Seher will eventually become a burden for Mahid. He even claims that once Seher returns fully into Mahid’s life, she won’t allow Kaiz to spend time with him like before.
Insha becomes emotional.
She recalls how Mahid rescued her from an unhappy life, gave Kaiz the love of a father, and always stood by them. She firmly declares that she will never allow anyone to snatch Mahid away from Kaiz.
Later, Amal brings a glass of bitter gourd juice for Mahid, secretly hoping he will hate it as her little revenge.
To her disappointment, Mahid drinks the entire glass without making a face.
Frustrated, Amal complains that Seher spends all her time worrying about Mahid now. She fears Mahid will take Seher away from her forever. She even blames Dr. Farid and Sultana for trying to reunite the couple.
Mahid gently explains that Farid and Sultana genuinely care about Amal. Despite everything that happened, they still consider her their daughter and only want what is best for her.
Meanwhile, Seher is stunned after discovering that Mahid has already announced their engagement to the hospital staff.
Furious, she confronts him immediately and demands an explanation.
Mahid awkwardly tries to justify his actions with a weak excuse, but Seher refuses to accept it. She scolds him for making such a big announcement without asking for her permission.
Mahid quietly listens as Seher vents her frustration, leaving their relationship standing at another emotional crossroads.
Episode Ends
Precap: Mahid helps Seher fix her dress and tells her that their engagement has become a blessing in disguise. As Mufti’s fiancée, no one will dare to harm her now.
Review:
The episode beautifully explores Mahid’s emotional attachment to Kaiz while gradually strengthening his bond with Seher. Their heartfelt conversations reveal unresolved feelings that neither is ready to admit openly. Insha’s growing insecurity and Husna’s new scheme promise more drama ahead, while Mahid’s impulsive announcement about the engagement creates another interesting conflict between the lead pair.
