Yeh Fitoor Tera 7th August 2026 Written Update: Jeet Stands Up for Soumya, Marriage Proposal Ends in Heartbreak
The episode begins with Jeet happily enjoying the parathas packed in his tiffin while Shaurya continues ragging Soumya by forcing her to dance to an inappropriate song in front of everyone. Uncomfortable and humiliated, Soumya refuses to obey. Instead, she pushes Shaurya away, leaving him stunned.
At that very moment, a cricket ball accidentally lands on Jeet’s tiffin, scattering his beloved parathas onto the ground. Jeet instantly loses his temper. Without wasting a second, he grabs the ball and deliberately pours water over Shaurya’s expensive music system.
Shaurya furiously questions his actions.
Jeet coolly replies that if Shaurya can ruin his lunch, he can easily ruin his brand-new speaker. His fearless response leaves the students speechless while Shaurya fumes with anger.
Later, Soumya quietly enters her classroom but accidentally slips and falls, drawing unwanted attention. During the Hindi lecture, she feels increasingly uncomfortable because of her professor’s awkward behaviour. Before the class progresses any further, Pakhi arrives and escorts Soumya to the freshers’ introduction ceremony.
Standing on the stage, Soumya struggles to introduce herself before the crowd. Her nervousness completely takes over, making it difficult for her to speak. Pakhi repeatedly encourages her to gather courage and believe in herself, but Soumya remains hesitant.
Just then, she receives an urgent phone call from her mother and immediately rushes home.
At home, she is surprised to find a prospective groom and his family waiting to meet her.
The young man politely asks whether she likes singing, while Vedant grows irritated by the way the groom continues questioning his sister. Soumya’s mother lovingly praises her daughter, describing her as pure and gentle like the holy Ganga, hoping the alliance will work out.
When the groom tries speaking privately with Soumya, she struggles to respond. Sensing the awkward silence, her aunt quickly steps in to rescue the conversation.

The groom is left thoroughly embarrassed while everyone watches the awkward moment unfold.
Heartbroken, Soumya finally expresses the pain she has buried inside for years.
She wonders why boys always have the right to reject girls while no one ever asks what the girl wants. She says she has never even received the chance to reject someone herself because others always decide her future.
Her emotional outburst deeply affects everyone around her.
Soon, Vedant calls to check on her.
Soumya tearfully admits that she has disappointed her father once again. Before the conversation becomes more emotional, she ends the call, promising to speak later.
Meanwhile, Jeet lightens the atmosphere in his own mischievous style.
Teasing Soumya, he jokingly asks whether she has a boyfriend before offering her a can of beer to boost her confidence.
Startled by his unexpected gesture, Soumya accidentally drops the beer can.
Unfortunately, it lands near Anup, who immediately witnesses the embarrassing situation.
Already upset after the failed marriage proposal, Anup quietly asks Soumya to go to her room.
Her aunt wastes no opportunity to taunt her. She blames Anup’s upbringing for Soumya’s condition and adds to the family’s humiliation.
Anup remains deeply hurt but controls his emotions. Instead of arguing, he silently asks Soumya to take some rest.
Later, Pakhi visits Soumya to cheer her up.
She patiently helps Soumya rehearse her introduction for the freshers’ programme, encouraging her to overcome her fear of speaking before others.
Slowly, Soumya regains her confidence.
Pakhi reminds her that even the bitterest experiences can eventually lead to beautiful moments if one refuses to give up.
Inspired by her friend’s words, Soumya finally agrees to participate in the event.
The following morning, Soumya dreams of confidently standing on the stage while Jeet repeatedly interrupts her by demanding extra parathas for his tiffin.
She wakes up smiling before praying for courage and strength to face the day.
As she gets ready for college, Jeet once again jokingly reminds her not to forget packing extra parathas.
At home, however, her aunt continues trying to discourage her. Anup remains silent and even asks Madhu to prepare breakfast without speaking to Soumya.
Sensing her daughter’s disappointment, Madhu lovingly encourages Soumya to stay confident and believe in herself.
Before leaving, Soumya promises Anup that she will make him proud during the freshers’ event.
Touched by her determination, Anup finally softens and wishes her all the best, giving Soumya the confidence she desperately needed.
