Vasudha 8th August 2026 Written Update: Sarika’s Plan Backfires. Sajjan asks Vasudha about her inspiration. Vasudha tells that Santosh trusted her talents and inspired her to run her own business. She sings praises of Santosh. Sarika brainwashes Santosh against Chandrika and Vasudha. She tells that she is better than them, since she has always been with Santosh. Chandrika tells that her family is her strength and her weakness now. Vasudha tells that if she wins an award, then Santosh and Divya will win. She credits Santosh and Divya for her success. Sajjan asks the formula for her success.
Vasudha tells that Santosh taught her that business runs on faith and relationships, not profits. Sarika tells Santosh that Chandrika and Vasudha will be praised, but the world will be unaware of Santosh’s pain. She says Sajjan will talk to Santosh and she should expose Chandrika and Vasudha’s betrayal. Mayur tells Prabhat that it looks like a festival. Prabhat asks him to turn everything perfect. Sarika tells that Sajjan will not give the award to Chandrika and Vasudha. Prabhat goes to Santosh. He asks Santosh to come and have food.
Santosh tells that she doesn’t want to come. She adds that Chandrika and Vasudha have played a drama and she will never forgive them. He defends Vasudha. He tells that Chandrika has sinned; she has broken their trust, and she isn’t accepting Vasudha because of him. He wishes to die. She asks him not to say this. She goes to have food with everyone. The guests also get seated to dine with the family members.
Vasudha and Chandrika serve the food to everyone. They don’t serve anything to Santosh. Savitri gets khichdi for Santosh. Santosh tells that she likes to eat plain food. She asks them to have food. Santosh stumbles. Vasudha doesn’t hold her. Dev holds Santosh and asks if she is okay. Sajjan tells that the family is ill-treating Santosh. Sarika asks them to talk to Santosh. Santosh tells that she has nothing to say.
Sajjan and his team go and talk to Santosh privately. Sarika asks them what Santosh said. They keep it confidential. It’s night, Sarika tells Dev that he is looking very eager. Dev tells that the award is special as its first award for Vasudha, and for Chandrika-Vasudha’s jodi. Divya receives a call. She tells the family that the officials have confirmed that Chandrika and Vasudha are getting an award. Dev is glad.
Prabhat tells that Vasudha deserves the award. Sarika wonders how they won an award. Divya stops Sarika and tells that she knows what Sarika wanted to do. She scolds Sarika for stooping low and maligning Chandrika and Vasudha’s names. She threatens to inform Chandrika and Santosh about Sarika’s mistake. She lectures Sarika. Sarika denies the blame. She asks Divya to shut up. Divya shows the call log. She recalls speaking to Sajjan. She tells that she is Surya’s daughter. He praises Surya and tells that his family votes for Surya.
He asks her to raise her voice against injustice when she sees how Chandrika and Vasudha are badly treating Santosh. She asks what he means. He tells that someone informed him about Chandrika and Vasudha’s misbehaviour. She clears the matter. She tells that Chandrika, Vasudha and Santosh love each other, and their misunderstanding will end soon. She asks him to show the call log. He shows Sarika’s number. The flashback ends. Sarika tries to cover up. Divya tells that she won’t tell anything to the family members.
She warns Sarika and turns to leave. They see Chandrika overhearing them. Chandrika feels lucky to get Divya as her Bahu. Divya tells that she has learnt her duties from Chandrika. Chandrika hugs her. Guru ji is seen doing some yagya. He feels restless and wants to know the cause. He gets glimpses of a temple and says Vasudha… Vasudha prays that she ends Santosh’s annoyance.

Vasudha’s interview is the emotional highlight. Instead of allowing the award to become about her alone, she credits Santosh and Divya for her success and beautifully explains that business is built on faith and relationships rather than profits. This keeps Vasudha’s character grounded and makes her success feel like a collective achievement.
At the same time, Sarika continues manipulating Santosh by reminding her that her pain could get buried beneath Chandrika and Vasudha’s success. Her attempt to use Santosh against them is cruel, but it also shows how desperate she has become to gain control of the family.
The dining sequence creates an interesting misunderstanding. Sajjan notices Santosh being served separately and assumes that the family is mistreating her. However, Santosh refuses to speak against them when given the opportunity. This is an important moment because, despite her anger, she still cannot completely betray Chandrika and Vasudha.
The biggest relief comes when the award is confirmed for Chandrika and Vasudha. Sarika’s plan falls apart, and Divya cleverly exposes her connection to Sajjan. Her confrontation with Sarika is satisfying, especially because Divya doesn’t simply accuse her—she has the call records to back up the truth.
