Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan 9th August 2026 Written Update: Soni Gets Rusticated. Sneha tells the principal that Pooja is Shivani’s best friend, and she was also present with Shivani and Soni that day. She asks Pooja to say if Soni picked up the bat to attack or for self-defence. Shivani worries. Pooja tells that she can’t lie; Sneha threatened her and asked her to testify against Shivani. Sneha and everyone are shocked when Pooja changes her statement and speaks against Soni. Sneha asks Soni to tell the truth.
The principal warns Sneha. Shivani and Indu smile. Indu recalls meeting Paras and knowing about Sneha’s plan. Sneha cries and asks Pooja not to spoil Soni’s life. Ganga asks the principal to trust her; Sneha can never lie or threaten someone. Shivani’s dad, Mr Bansal, asks Ganga to stay calm. He taunts Soni and her family. The officer tells that nobody can leave or enter the house until the raid is complete. Bhavani asks everyone to keep their phones. Purvi tells Durgavati that she feels Sneha did this to defame her. Siddhu asks Purvi not to doubt Sneha. Durgavati tells that Sneha is always against her. She asks Siddhu to go if he wants. He says he won’t go anywhere. Shekhar comes to talk to them. He asks Durgavati and Siddhu not to worry; he will handle everything. Siddhu asks him not to tell anything to Ganga and Sneha.
Purvi tells Sarla that Indu has filed a complaint and engaged Siddhu in the IT raid. The principal asks Ganga to apologize to Shivani and Bansal. He asks her if she is ready. Sneha lectures the principal. She scolds Bansal. She defends Soni. She tells that Shivani did wrong, and the principal is expelling Soni. Bansal tells that he doesn’t have time to listen to their lecture. He leaves. Soni cries and says she didn’t do anything wrong. She adds that she will go back to Basni and continue her studies. Sneha consoles her.
Durgavati tells Bhavani that Sneha has filed the complaint. Bhavani asks how she is so sure. Durgavati says Sneha has teamed up with Vimla. She wants to teach a lesson to Sneha. Ganga tells that Soni has to make a start alone. They go home. Sahana tells Ganga that Murli and Kusum have taken Binita to the hospital. Kaushalya tells that Sahana is taking care of Binita like a sister.
Siddhu and Sneha miss each other. She calls him. She says he has switched off his phone. Sahana asks her if she is missing Siddhu. Sneha says no. Sahana says Sneha started trusting Siddhu, and it’s called love. Sneha asks her to go and rest; she will handle the work. Siddhu asks the officer if he can call his wife and wish her good night. The officer permits him to send a message. Siddhu sends an audio message. The officers look on and smile. Sneha hears his message and smiles. Siddhu imagines her and sleeps.
Purvi enters his room. She goes to hold him. He wakes up and is shocked to see her. She says he didn’t have dinner, so she got him milk. He asks her to leave his room. He scolds her and asks her to save her self-esteem. He says he just loves Sneha. He shuts the door. The next morning, Sahana speaks to Murli on the call. She asks him to come to the college. Murli tells that he is stuck at the hospital. She tells that Soni needs help. Kaushalya looks on angrily and thinks she will oust Murli. Sahana wants to expose Kaushalya’s evil intentions.

The biggest disappointment comes with Pooja’s betrayal. Sneha genuinely believes that Pooja can reveal the truth because she was present during the incident, but Shivani’s pressure clearly gets to her. When Pooja changes her statement and accuses Soni instead, the entire family is left shattered. Sneha’s desperate attempt to make Pooja reconsider adds emotional weight to the scene.
The principal’s decision to rusticate Soni feels particularly harsh because the investigation appears heavily influenced by Shivani’s side. Mr Bansal’s arrogance also makes the situation more frustrating. His attempt to silence Ganga and Soni’s family only strengthens the feeling that Soni is being punished because of Shivani’s influence rather than because the complete truth has been established.
However, the episode doesn’t allow Soni to remain defeated for long. Sneha refuses to accept the decision and encourages Soni to fight back. Sahana’s storyline continues to build suspense as she becomes increasingly suspicious of Kaushalya and Binita. Her determination to expose their plan gives the parallel track some much-needed momentum, although the hospital drama is becoming repetitive.
Overall, the episode succeeds because Soni’s defeat doesn’t feel like the end of her story—it feels like the beginning of a bigger fight. Sneha and Ganga’s decision to challenge Shivani and the college management sets up an interesting track ahead.
