Tum Se Tum Tak 9th August 2026 Written Update Review: Anu Shows Rajnandini’s Mangalsutra to Arya as Meera’s Game Backfires
The episode finally gives Anu a major breakthrough in the Rajnandini mystery. After Arya returns home, he immediately wants to know what happened. Gayatri confronts Mansi and Meera for using Rajnandini’s name to frighten Anu. Mansi eventually admits that it was Meera’s idea, while Yash confirms that they were only trying to play a prank. Arya is furious because they did not just frighten Anu; they dragged the memory of his late wife into their petty game.
Arya’s anger towards Meera is particularly strong. He reminds her that Rajnandini was his wife and an important part of his past, so she should have respected her memory. His disappointment in Meera feels justified, especially because she has repeatedly claimed to care about the family. For once, Meera is left without a convincing defence, and Gayatri also makes it clear that both women crossed a line.
But the real twist comes when Anu speaks to Arya privately. She tells him that although the prank was fake, the things she experienced felt completely real to her. She then shows him the mangalsutra and asks whether he recognizes it. Arya is instantly shocked when Anu says that Rajnandini gave it to her.
Anu explains her recurring Ashtami dreams and reveals that she recently saw Arya with the mysterious girl. In the dream, Arya was calling her Rajnandini. She is now convinced that the girl appearing in her dreams is actually Rajnandini. Arya tries to explain it away as the result of Meera and Mansi repeatedly mentioning Rajnandini, but his own reaction makes it obvious that the revelation has deeply shaken him.
The episode also handles Yash’s track emotionally. After Meera scolds him for revealing the truth to Anu, Yash becomes overwhelmed with guilt and starts hurting himself. Anu rushes to stop him and later asks Meera to be careful with his emotions. Her appeal is especially important because Yash trusts Meera completely. Anu reminds her that Gayatri believes Meera can help Yash recover and asks her not to break that trust.
Unfortunately, Meera’s response shows that she has no intention of changing. She realizes that Anu is right about one thing: Yash is the key to her plan. If she can keep Yash emotionally dependent on her, she can continue using him to strengthen her position inside the Vardhan family.
The parallel track with Gopal and Pushpa adds some realism to the episode, with their financial problems getting worse as customers reject the repaired sarees and their electricity connection is cut. But the emotional centre of the episode clearly belongs to Anu and Arya.
Overall, this is a strong episode. The mangalsutra revelation is the biggest development because Anu’s dreams are no longer just mysterious visions — they are beginning to connect with real objects and Arya’s buried past. Arya’s attempt to dismiss everything as imagination also suggests that he is becoming increasingly afraid that Anu may eventually uncover the truth.
