Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 10th August 2026 Written Update: Karan Breaks Down Before Gautam, Tripti’s Plan Takes a Dangerous Turn
The episode begins with an emotional moment as Karan finally meets Gautam after being away for several years. Shobha is stunned to see Karan and wonders what has brought him back after such a long gap.
Karan is unable to control his emotions after seeing Gautam. He breaks down and admits that he has been carrying a lot of pain inside him. He feels that despite spending his entire life trying to give his children everything, he has somehow failed as a father.
His biggest worry is Samaira. Karan believes she is too young to understand what is truly good for her. He feels that Samaira no longer understands him and refuses to see the reality of her relationship with Sid.
Karan tells Gautam that Samaira cannot understand why Sid is not suitable for her. He firmly believes that Parag would be a much better match for his daughter and that she would have a happier future with him.
Karan becomes increasingly emotional as he admits that he feels completely alone. Gautam is moved by his brother’s condition and immediately embraces him.
Gautam assures Karan that he should not consider himself a failed father. He reminds him that he has always cared for his children and tried to protect them. According to Gautam, making mistakes or struggling with one’s children does not make someone a bad parent.
The conversation then takes an emotional turn when Gautam admits that he sometimes feels jealous of Karan. Karan knows so much about his children, while Gautam feels that he does not understand his own son Nakul well enough.
Both brothers realise that even when parents love their children deeply, they cannot always control the choices their children make. Their emotional conversation gives Karan some much-needed comfort.
Karan Invites Gautam to Samaira’s Engagement
Karan then takes a surprising decision. He tells Gautam that Samaira’s engagement is happening that very night and invites Gautam and his entire family to attend.

Tulsi immediately tries to stop Karan from rushing into such a major decision. However, Karan makes it clear that he has already made up his mind. He asks Tulsi not to interfere in the matter and refuses to reconsider his decision.
Meanwhile, Tulsi decides to speak to Samaira herself.
She meets Samaira and asks her directly whether she genuinely loves Sid. Samaira finally gathers the courage to admit that she does love him.
Tulsi listens carefully and wants to understand the man Samaira has chosen. Samaira gives her Siddhant’s address because everyone believes that Siddhant is the person Samaira is referring to as Sid.
Tulsi decides to meet him personally.
Tulsi Meets Siddhant
Tulsi reaches Siddhant’s house and meets him. Siddhant behaves respectfully and introduces himself to her.
He confidently speaks about his feelings for Samaira and assures Tulsi that he genuinely wants her to be happy. He promises that he will always take care of Samaira and give her the happiness she deserves.
Tulsi is impressed by his words. She believes that she has finally met the man Samaira loves and feels reassured after their conversation.
She blesses Siddhant and leaves.
However, Tulsi remains completely unaware that she has been deliberately deceived.
The moment she leaves, Tripti and Sid emerge.
Tripti praises Sid for successfully convincing Tulsi. Sid, however, remains worried about the upcoming engagement. He wonders how they will actually stop Samaira’s engagement with Parag.
Tripti remains completely calm.
She tells Sid that he does not need to worry because Tulsi will now handle everything for them.
Tripti Uses Tulsi’s Trust Against the Viranis
Tripti explains that she knows Tulsi very well. She understands that Tulsi strongly believes in justice and will never remain silent if she thinks someone is being forced into an unfair situation.
Tripti believes Tulsi will eventually interfere once she realises that Samaira is being pushed into marrying Parag against her wishes.
She confidently tells Sid that Tulsi will do exactly what they need.
The irony is that Tulsi genuinely believes she is protecting Samaira and trying to understand her daughter’s feelings. She has no idea that Tripti has manipulated the situation and that her actions may actually help their plan.
Tripti remains satisfied as she watches everything fall into place.
Meanwhile, Karan continues preparing for Samaira’s engagement, completely unaware of the storm that is approaching his family.
The episode ends with Tripti’s plan moving closer to its next stage.

Review
This episode brings a strong emotional track for Karan as he finally opens up about his insecurities and fears as a father. His conversation with Gautam works well because both brothers realise that loving their children does not always mean being able to control their choices.
The bigger drama, however, lies with Samaira, Sid and Tripti. Tulsi believes she is helping Samaira, but Tripti has cleverly turned that goodness into a weapon. The Siddhant-Sid confusion is also becoming increasingly important, especially with Tripti preparing to reveal Sid’s connection to her.
The precap promises a major revelation at Shantiniketan, and Karan’s reaction to Tulsi could create another serious family confrontation.
