Udne Ki Aasha 9th August 2026 Written Update: Sayali Takes a Stand as Pankhudi Faces Constant Blame

The episode opens with Sayali becoming increasingly emotional after watching Pankhudi struggle with the behaviour of Roshni and Renuka. The child has repeatedly been reprimanded by both women, often without being given a clear explanation for what she supposedly did wrong. Sayali finds it painful to watch her daughter become nervous around the family members who should make her feel safe.

Pankhudi’s growing fear worries Sayali deeply. She feels that a child should not have to constantly think twice before speaking or behaving because she is afraid that someone might scold her. For Sayali, the problem is no longer about occasional arguments inside the Deshmukh house. She believes Pankhudi is being emotionally affected by the constant criticism.

Meanwhile, Mangesh finds himself dealing with a completely different problem. His card business is suffering because Gundeya’s men are creating obstacles for him. They continue interfering with his work and causing financial losses, but they are careful not to confront him directly.

This leaves Mangesh confused about their actual intentions. He knows that someone is deliberately trying to damage his business, but figuring out how to deal with the people behind it becomes difficult. With his work already facing trouble, Mangesh is left wondering how long he can continue operating under such pressure.

Sayali Opens Up About Pankhudi

Back at home, Sayali and Sachin discuss the various problems troubling their family.

There is at least one positive development. Paresh’s health is steadily getting better, giving everyone some much-needed relief. However, Sayali’s mind remains occupied by Pankhudi.

She feels that the entire family’s attention has been focused on Paresh’s recovery while nobody is noticing what Pankhudi is experiencing emotionally.

Sayali explains to Sachin that Pankhudi has reached a stage where she is unable to predict when Roshni or Renuka will suddenly become angry with her. Even worse, she often does not understand what she has done to deserve their anger.

Sayali worries that this uncertainty could leave a lasting impact on her daughter.

She also points out something that hurts her even more. Pankhudi has started apologising even when she is not at fault. Rather than defending herself, the child chooses to say sorry simply to prevent another argument.

Sayali cannot accept this.

She believes Pankhudi should grow up knowing her own worth instead of learning that she must constantly compromise her dignity to keep adults happy. She does not want her daughter to believe that tolerating unfair treatment is the price of maintaining peace in a family.

Sachin understands why Sayali is so upset.

He assures her that he will not ignore the matter. Once the upcoming religious ceremony is completed, he plans to speak to Paresh about what has been happening and make sure the issue receives proper attention.

Kanika Creates Confusion With Tejas’s Phone

Meanwhile, another complication develops inside the Deshmukh household.

Kanika deliberately swaps her phone with Tejas’s mobile. She is already irritated by Roshni and decides to use the situation to create trouble.

Using Tejas’s phone, Kanika calls Roshni.

The unexpected call creates an awkward situation between Roshni and Tejas. As the family notices the strange circumstances surrounding the mobile phone, questions begin to arise about who made the call and why.

The seemingly small phone exchange soon adds another layer of tension to the already complicated relationships inside the house.

Later, Devika assures everyone that she will return the mobile the following morning. For the moment, the matter appears to settle down, but the atmosphere inside the family remains far from peaceful.

Pankhudi Is Blamed Yet Again

The situation takes another unpleasant turn when Paresh discovers that the main entrance of the house had been left open throughout the night.

Instead of first finding out who left the door open, Renuka immediately points the finger at Pankhudi.

She assumes that the child is responsible and begins questioning her.

Sayali is deeply disturbed by what she sees.

Once again, Pankhudi is being blamed before anyone has actually established what happened. Sayali feels helpless watching her daughter face another accusation when there is no clear proof that she was responsible.

Roshni also joins the situation and supports the accusation against Pankhudi rather than trying to understand the circumstances.

For Sayali, this becomes the final warning.

She has already watched Pankhudi become anxious because of the repeated scolding. Now she sees the same pattern happening again, with the child being held responsible without anyone bothering to investigate.

Sayali’s concern turns into anger.

She does not want Pankhudi to continue growing up in an atmosphere where she feels that she is always at fault. She also does not want her daughter to believe that staying quiet and accepting blame is the easiest way to survive family conflicts.

Sachin Decides Enough Is Enough

Sachin also observes the situation closely.

Until now, he has tried to understand the family’s problems and avoid unnecessary confrontations. But Pankhudi’s repeated humiliation changes his perspective.

He realizes that this is no longer simply a disagreement between adults.

His daughter is being affected.

Sachin understands that if he continues remaining silent, the situation could become even worse. He therefore begins considering a strong step to protect Pankhudi and put an end to the repeated accusations.

Sayali’s concerns have clearly reached him, and he is now ready to address the issue rather than allowing it to continue behind closed doors.

The episode ends with the tension inside the Deshmukh household reaching a new level. Pankhudi’s emotional struggle has finally pushed Sachin towards taking action, and his decision could bring him into direct conflict with Roshni and Renuka.

Precap

The upcoming episode hints that Sachin will take a firm stand for Pankhudi. His decision is likely to challenge the existing family dynamics and could trigger another major confrontation inside the Deshmukh household.

Review

This episode focuses more on the emotional side of the Deshmukh family than on dramatic twists. Pankhudi’s situation gives Sayali a strong reason to step forward as a mother, while Sachin gradually realizes that simply staying quiet is no longer enough.

The most effective part is Pankhudi apologising even when she has done nothing wrong. That small detail shows how repeated criticism can affect a child more deeply than the adults around her may realize.

Sayali’s concern also feels genuine because she is not simply angry with Roshni and Renuka. She is worried about what their behaviour could teach Pankhudi about herself and her place in the family.

Sachin’s decision to finally take a stand creates anticipation for the next episode. If he openly confronts Renuka and Roshni, the long-running tension surrounding Pankhudi could finally come to the surface.

The Mangesh-Gundeya track and the phone confusion add additional layers to the episode, although the emotional conflict involving Sayali, Sachin and Pankhudi remains the stronger storyline.

Overall, the episode builds towards a much-needed confrontation and gives Sachin a more protective and decisive role in the family drama.

Rating: 4.2/5
