Santosh packs her bags and says she will go back to Ranakpur. Vasudha comes and stops her. She keeps the clothes back in the cupboard. Santosh asks her to leave. Vasudha tells that she has come to tell a bitter truth. Santosh refuses to listen to her. Vasudha tells Santosh that she is the reason for all the chaos created in the house.
She says Santosh knew about Guru ji’s prediction and the risk to Prabhat’s life; even then, she compelled Chandrika to accept Vasudha as her elder Bahu. She asks Santosh if it’s right to ask Chandrika to put her husband into danger. Santosh asks her not to teach her anything. Vasudha cries and tells Santosh that she isn’t able to see the truth. Santosh laughs and calls Vasudha a liar.
Vasudha says they lied to Santosh to convince her to undergo the surgery. She says Santosh is precious to them and they were helpless but to do a drama. She adds that Chandrika won’t risk Prabhat’s life. She says she can’t settle with Dev by putting Prabhat in danger. She asks Santosh not to get stubborn; if anything happens to Prabhat, then she will regret. Santosh scolds her for her blind beliefs and asks her to get out. Vasudha tells that it’s Chandrika’s faith. She shows her mangalsutra and says it’s Dev’s protective shield.
She asks Santosh to end her anger and accept everything as it is. She requests Santosh to let Chandrika protect her husband. She says she can’t forgive herself for her life. She wants to support Chandrika’s decision. She apologizes to Santosh. She leaves. Dev gets a nightmare that Vasudha is leaving him. He wakes up and looks for Vasudha. Sarika tells that she doesn’t know where Vasudha is.
Savitri tells that Vasudha might have gone to the pickles factory. Dev runs to check Hanumant’s house. He finds it locked. He says he had a nightmare, and he feels stressed about Vasudha. Vasudha meets Guru ji at the temple. She tells that she told Hanumant about Guru ji’s advice, but Hanumant didn’t agree. He tells that it’s the only solution left; she has to convince Hanumant as soon as possible. He says she has to take Hanumant’s permission willingly without hurting his heart. She asks how it’s possible.
He tells that her family won’t know about her sacrifice, but she will get a reward for her secret sacrifice. He adds that he will make arrangements for her stay in the village. She says she will convince Hanumant and take everyone’s blessings before leaving. He blesses her. Chandrika packs her bags. She tells Prabhat that she is preparing for her trip, she wants him to come with her. She says Vasudha and she are getting an award.
He tells that he isn’t able to feel happy or proud of her success, and he won’t accompany her. She stops him and asks what he is saying. He tells that he is helpless and unlucky; he has become an eclipse on his children’s lives, and he is cursing himself. She asks him to curse her, but not himself. He tells that if she had accepted Vasudha and he died then, he would have felt lucky and happy, but now she has ruined his life with her blind beliefs. He asks her to end her stubbornness, or else she will lose everything. She cries.
Santosh overhears them. Dev waits for Vasudha. Vasudha comes home. Dev asks her where she went. She says sorry; she had gone to the market to buy groceries. He asks where the grocery bag is. She tells that she wanted to visit a temple. She says she prayed at the temple for Chandrika. She adds that she won’t leave Santosh alone. She doesn’t want to go. She goes to Chandrika.
Chandrika tells that she has cancelled the trip; she wants to stop Santosh and Prabhat from leaving, because she can’t imagine her life without Prabhat. Vasudha recalls Guru ji’s words. She thinks of fixing Chandrika and Prabhat’s matter. Hanumant meets Vasudha and asks her if everything is okay. She tells that she wants his support in fulfilling Guru ji’s solution. He scolds her and asks her not to ruin her life.
She reminds him how he poisoned her when he got to know about Dev and her marriage, he was loyal to Chandrika and was ready to sacrifice his daughter’s life. She asks him to show the same loyalty for Chandrika and Prabhat once again. He cries and asks how he can let her go.
She says she wants his support, she has to fix everything before leaving. She asks him not to tell anything to Dev or anyone. She asks him to hide the secret in his heart. He says he won’t be able to do it. She says she has to do it. She asks him to assume that she died the day he gave her the poison. She wants to use her new life towards the welfare of the Chauhan family.

This episode turns Vasudha’s sacrifice into a heartbreaking reality, while the entire Chauhan family reaches a breaking point.
The strongest part is Vasudha’s confrontation with Santosh. Instead of quietly accepting the situation, she makes Santosh understand that her stubborn condition has created chaos in the family. Her argument is emotional but clear: she cannot build her life with Dev by putting Prabhat’s life at risk. Her mangalsutra becoming a symbol of Dev’s protection adds emotional weight to her decision.
The parallel conflict between Chandrika and Prabhat is equally powerful. Prabhat finally reaches his breaking point and blames Chandrika’s blind faith for destroying the family’s happiness. His confession that he feels like an “eclipse” on his children’s lives shows how deeply the situation has affected him. Chandrika, meanwhile, is terrified of losing him and is unable to choose between her husband’s safety and Santosh’s wish.
The episode also makes Dev’s connection with Vasudha more emotional. His nightmare about her leaving him feels like an important foreshadowing of what Vasudha is actually planning. He desperately searches for her while she is secretly preparing for a separation that he knows nothing about.
The most heartbreaking sequence comes with Vasudha and Hanumant. She asks him to support her secret sacrifice and reminds him of the time he was willing to sacrifice his own daughter for Chandrika and Prabhat. Her statement that he should consider her to have died on the day he poisoned her is extremely painful. The track is definitely dramatic—and a little too complicated with everyone hiding something from everyone else—but emotionally, it works. Vasudha’s sacrifice has now reached a point where she is willing to disappear from Dev’s life completely without even telling him why.
