Anupama 12th August 2026 Written Update: Gautam Manipulates Mahi, While Anupama and Prem Face a New Competition Challenge
The episode begins with Prem deliberately avoiding Rahi. Leela notices his behaviour and tries to lighten the mood by asking him whether he has eaten something sour. Prem denies it, and Leela asks him to smile.
Anupama silently signals Leela before turning her attention towards Rahi. She hugs her warmly, hoping to make her feel comfortable despite the tension surrounding the family.
Mahi watches the scene from a distance. She feels like an outsider and wonders why Anupama would genuinely love her when she is no longer part of the family in the same way. She tells Anupama that she does not want her love.
Anupama, however, remains hopeful. She tells Rahi that she wishes these next 24 hours will bring happiness back into both families and help them regain their lost bond.
Meanwhile, Khyati asks Ansh to call Sujata and make sure Pransi goes to sleep.
Vasundhara Draws a Line
As preparations for the veneration begin, Vasundhara notices Digvijay.
She immediately objects to his presence, explaining that the ceremony is meant for the family and that an outsider should not participate.
Gautam comes to Digvijay’s defence and says that Digvijay is part of Anupama’s family.

Prem Shocks Anupama

This episode successfully turns the family veneration into a completely unexpected competition twist. The temporary reunion between the Shahs and Kotharis was already emotionally complicated, but the organizers adding the next 24 hours to the competition makes everything far more interesting.
Mahi’s confrontation with Gautam is another strong moment. She may still be hurt by Anupama, but she refuses to let Gautam exploit those emotions again. Her response shows that she has learned from the past.
The biggest question now is how Anupama and Prem will survive a task where one has to obey the other. Their unresolved resentment could make even the simplest instruction turn into a major argument.
With cameras watching their every move, there is also no room for the families to hide their real emotions.
