Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 13th August 2026 Written Update: Karan Blames Tulsi for Samaira’s Elopement, Tripti Reveals Sid Is Her Son
The episode begins with Tulsi asking Sobha to call Nandini as she urgently wants to speak to her. However, before Tulsi can talk to Nandini, Karan tells her that Nandini can speak to her later. He says they should not waste time because the guests are waiting. Karan takes Nandini along to welcome Parag’s family, leaving Tulsi feeling humiliated.
Meanwhile, Tripti is thrilled when she learns that Samaira is returning with Sid. She asks Sid to come quickly and secretly thinks that Tulsi will soon become her samdhan, which will bring happiness into her life. Samaira receives a call from Rounak but refuses to answer. She tells Sid that everyone may soon discover that they have eloped.
At Shanti Niketan, Garima wonders why Samaira is taking so long to come downstairs. Rounak stops her because he wants to speak to his father first.
Tripti Welcomes Samaira and Sid
Tripti warmly welcomes Samaira and Sid with aarti and tika. She tells Samaira that she has accepted her as her daughter-in-law and promises that they will soon give her a grand welcome.
Tripti asks Samaira to sit beside her and consoles her. She assures Samaira that everything will eventually become alright. She reminds her of Mihir Dadu and Tulsi’s love story and tells Samaira to remain strong like Tulsi. According to Tripti, Samaira’s family will eventually understand her feelings and accept her decision.
Samaira admits that she was wrong about Tulsi. She now understands that Tulsi has always supported her and genuinely wants her to be happy.
Tripti asks Samaira not to cry and goes to get water for her. However, the moment she leaves, her expression changes. Tripti thinks that Tulsi has no idea that her family is on the verge of falling apart and she intends to take full advantage of the situation.
Karan Learns That Samaira Has Eloped
Meanwhile, Karan becomes impatient and asks Nandini why Samaira is taking so long. He decides to check on her himself.
Tulsi notices Rounak coming downstairs without Samaira and immediately becomes worried. Rounak informs Karan that Samaira is not inside her room.
Tulsi then confirms that Samaira has left the house. She reveals that she saw Samaira escaping through the balcony.
Rounak informs Karan that Samaira is missing.
At the same time, Parag wonders why Samaira is taking so long. His father Hemal approaches Karan and asks about her. Karan initially lies that everything is fine and tries to make an excuse.
Hemal refuses to accept the explanation and asks Karan to call Samaira.
With no other option, Karan finally admits that Samaira has eloped.
Hemal becomes furious.
He humiliates Karan and blames him for bringing disgrace to his family. Nandini says that she has gone to search for Samaira, but she has no idea where she could have gone.
Karan folds his hands and apologises.
Hemal then realizes why Karan had been in such a hurry to arrange the engagement. He suspects that Samaira was already involved with someone else.
Karan tries to defend his family, but Hemal remains deeply disappointed. He gives Karan five minutes to find Samaira, warning that otherwise the alliance will be cancelled and their friendship will also come to an end.
Gautam tries to calm Hemal, while his wife further blames Karan’s family for the humiliation.
Hemal eventually takes his family away.
Karan Turns Against Tulsi
Back at Shanti Niketan, Tulsi feels that Samaira has made a huge mistake. Sobha tries to console his heartbroken brother, while Damini questions Karan about how Samaira managed to escape.
Gautam is also confused about the entire situation.
Sobha asks Nandini whether she is certain about what happened.
Nandini reveals that she was the last person to meet Samaira.
Suddenly, Niyati remembers something important. She says that Mummy Ji had gone to meet Samaira. She recalls that, according to Maharaj Ji, Mummy Ji had gone to Samaira’s room.
Karan immediately turns toward Tulsi and accuses her of helping Samaira escape.
Tulsi tries to explain herself. She says she had only gone to speak to Karan and Nandini about Samaira. However, Karan refuses to listen.
He becomes increasingly furious and asks Tulsi why she wants to destroy his life. He even accuses her of killing Parth and now ruining Samaira’s life.
Tulsi is left shocked by his accusations.
Karan refuses to let her explain anything further.
Gautam attempts to control him, but Karan is completely consumed by anger. He says that he has lost all his reputation because of Tulsi.
Tulsi reminds him that he was the one who fixed Samaira’s alliance with Parag.
Karan demands to know why he should bear the humiliation caused by Samaira.
Tulsi firmly tells him that he is not in a position to question her because she had only been trying to speak to him and Nandini.
Sobha supports Tulsi and reminds everyone that Karan is a hardworking and good person who has always cared for his family.
Karan then becomes shocked when he learns that Tulsi had met Sid.
Gautam tries to make Karan understand that Tulsi had actually attempted to stop Samaira from taking such a drastic step.
Tulsi explains that Karan had been forcing Samaira into an alliance that she did not want.
But Karan remains adamant.
He continues blaming Tulsi for the entire situation and accuses her of interfering in his family matters.
Tulsi is deeply hurt as Karan refuses to understand her intentions.
The episode ends with the conflict between Karan and Tulsi reaching a breaking point.

This episode delivers a strong emotional confrontation between Karan and Tulsi. Samaira’s decision to elope completely changes the atmosphere at Shanti Niketan, and Karan’s humiliation quickly turns into anger against the very person who was trying to protect his daughter.
Tulsi’s helplessness stands out in the episode because she repeatedly tries to explain that she never wanted to destroy Karan’s family. Her biggest concern was simply that Samaira should not be forced into a marriage against her wishes. Unfortunately, Karan is too angry to understand her perspective.
Meanwhile, Tripti’s manipulation is becoming increasingly dangerous. Her warm behaviour toward Samaira hides her real intention, and the upcoming revelation that Sid is her son promises to create an even bigger shock for the Virani family. The precap also takes the drama to an extremely serious level with Samaira’s decision to harm herself.
Overall, the episode successfully builds the tension for the next major revelation.
