Seher Hone Ko Hai 13th August 2026 Written Update: Seher Decides to Treat Mahid, Engagement Twist Leaves Him Shocked
The episode begins with Seher telling Farid that she wants to treat Mahid herself. She firmly believes that nobody understands Mahid’s condition better than she does. As a doctor, she considers it her responsibility to help her patient recover.
Seher says that she became a doctor to save people, and if she cannot cure Mahid despite knowing his condition so well, she would feel that she has failed as a doctor. She is therefore determined to continue Mahid’s treatment regardless of the emotional complications involved.
Farid admits that he made a mistake by assigning Mahid’s case to Seher. He knows that Seher has a painful history with Mahid and still considers him responsible for Kausar’s death. Farid worries about whether Seher will be able to separate her personal trauma from her professional responsibilities.
Seher assures him that she will never mix the two. She promises to treat Mahid with complete dedication and give her best as a doctor. Farid eventually agrees to let her continue the treatment.
Mahid Loses His Temper With Khalid
Meanwhile, Khalid is happily playing carrom with his friend. Mahid notices him enjoying himself and becomes furious.
Mahid tells Khalid that he has brought a gift for him. However, instead of giving him anything, Mahid angrily breaks the carrom board.
He then attacks Khalid and demands to know where Nazima is. Mahid is furious that Nazima has gone missing while Khalid is casually playing carrom with his friends.
Khalid begs Mahid to leave him alone, but Mahid continues beating him. Khalid manages to escape and runs away.
Mahid chases him through the streets, but while running, he collides with someone.
The incident reminds him of Seher, causing him to stop chasing Khalid.
Seher Suspects Khalid’s Injury
Meanwhile, Seher is attending to an emergency case when she notices Khalid.
She immediately suspects that his injuries do not appear to have been caused by an accident. Seher asks Khalid whether he was involved in a fight.
Khalid lies to her and refuses to reveal what actually happened.
Seher does not press him further and asks the nurse to provide him with first aid.
Later, Mahid contacts the inspector and asks him to investigate the situation. He wants a proper investigation report and assures the inspector that he will follow up on the matter.
Seher Discovers the Engagement Invitation
Seher later notices the engagement invitation and becomes suspicious.
She starts wondering who could be behind the arrangements and feels that someone may be plotting against Mahid.
Meanwhile, Husna asks Insha to take care of the engagement preparations.
Mahid confronts Husna and questions her about printing the engagement invitations without consulting him.
Husna explains that she only wants his happiness. She reminds him that he brought Seher home and announced their engagement in front of everyone, so she believes she is simply fulfilling his wishes.
Insha points out that Husna should have discussed such an important decision with Mahid first.
Husna gets irritated by Insha’s interference and tells her not to involve herself in the matter.
Mahid then makes his decision clear.
He says that the engagement will not take place.
Seher Shocks Mahid
Just then, Seher arrives and declares that the engagement will take place.
Mahid is stunned.
Seher admits that she was wrong about certain things, but she tells Mahid that he should not cancel the engagement because of their differences.
Hakim supports Seher and asks Haider to begin preparing for the engagement.
Seher then asks Mahid to speak with her privately.
Insha becomes uncomfortable seeing Seher so close to Mahid and signals Haider to intervene.
Haider asks Mahid whether he should begin the arrangements.
Seher confidently tells him to go ahead.
Seher Reveals Nazima’s Disappearance
Mahid, however, refuses to listen to Seher.
She tries repeatedly to convince him, but he remains adamant.
Seher finally tells him that she wants to get engaged to him. She explains that they can at least pretend to be engaged until Sultana leaves the hospital.
Mahid refuses to agree.
Seher then reveals something much more serious.
She tells Mahid that Nazima is missing.
Seher fears that whoever has taken Nazima could eventually try to harm Mahid as well. She therefore wants to remain close to him so that she can protect him and continue treating him.
Mahid still refuses to listen.
Meanwhile, Amal learns from Farid that he did not actually assign any work to Seher and that she is not in the hospital.
She realizes that they lied to Sultana by claiming that Seher had been sent to the ICU.
Sultana then reveals that Seher had taken permission from her before leaving. She questions why everyone continues treating Seher like an enemy.
Amal and Farid are left disappointed by the situation.
The episode ends with Seher still trying to convince Mahid to accept her plan, while Mahid remains unwilling to listen.

Review
This episode gives Seher and Mahid’s relationship another interesting turn. Seher’s decision to treat Mahid shows how strongly she believes in separating her personal pain from her professional duty. Despite everything that happened between them, she refuses to abandon him when she knows he needs help.
The engagement twist is even more intriguing. Mahid clearly wants to cancel the engagement, but Seher suddenly insists that it must happen. Her revelation about Nazima’s disappearance explains why she is desperate to stay close to Mahid. She suspects that Mahid could be the next target, making her decision less about romance and more about protecting him.
At the same time, Husna’s secret engagement preparations and Seher’s sudden decision to go ahead with the ceremony are likely to create more conflict. Mahid’s refusal to cooperate could make the upcoming engagement track even more complicated.
