Seher Hone Ko Hai 14th August 2026 Written Update: Seher Takes Mahid to Kausar’s Grave, Sanaya Traps Amal
The episode begins with Seher requesting Mahid to say yes to their engagement. Mahid hesitates to answer, leaving Seher waiting for his response. Just then, Seher accidentally hurts her hand.
Mahid immediately becomes concerned. He gently sucks the blood from her finger and blows on the wound. Rasheeda happens to see them together and apologizes for disturbing their moment.
Mahid asks her what she is doing there. Rasheeda explains that she is searching for the cat because she wants to give it some food. She then leaves them alone.
Seher again asks Mahid to answer her.
Mahid finally agrees to her condition. However, he complains that Seher did not leave him with any other option except saying yes. Seher becomes extremely happy after hearing his answer.
Haider and Insha Become Suspicious
Meanwhile, Haider tries to contact Husna but is unable to reach her.
A servant asks him to choose the decorations for the engagement. Haider tells him that Seher is now the owner of the house and instructs him to follow her orders.
Haider is clearly frustrated by the situation.
Insha arrives and asks him what is going on. She points out that his mother clearly does not like the engagement, yet she was the one who printed the invitations.
Haider admits that he has no idea what is going on in his mother’s mind. He cannot even contact her, making the situation even more confusing.
Insha tells him that trusting Husna is pointless and insists that they have to stop the engagement at any cost.
Haider, however, reminds her that stopping it will not be easy.
Insha Notices Mahid’s Anger
Mahid and Seher continue spending time together, making Insha increasingly suspicious.
She tells Haider that something does not feel right. She noticed Mahid clenching his fist when Seher held his hand. According to Insha, Mahid used to do the same thing whenever he was angry.
Haider teases her for understanding Mahid so well.
Insha explains that she has lived in the house for years and knows Mahid’s behaviour. She strongly believes that something is happening between Mahid and Seher.
Haider tells her not to trust everything she sees. He says Mahid’s anger means nothing when Seher starts talking to him sweetly because she knows how to melt his heart.
Insha becomes jealous hearing this.
She immediately insists that she has no romantic feelings for Mahid and says she is only doing all this for Kaiz. She cannot allow anyone to take away Kaiz’s only support.
Seher Learns About Khalid
Later, Mahid checks the marshal accounts and questions the staff when he notices that the figures do not match.
Seher comes there to dress his wound. She sends the guests outside so she can attend to him.
During their conversation, Seher learns that Mahid was the one who beat Khalid the previous day.
She feels guilty and apologizes to him.
Seher admits that she should not have vented her anger on Mahid. Whenever she is in pain, she ends up taking out her frustration on him without thinking about what he is going through.
She realizes that Mahid has also been carrying tremendous pain alone.
Seher tells him that she still cannot escape her past. She believes this is why destiny brought her back to Lucknow—to confront everything she had tried to leave behind.
Seher Asks Mahid to Visit Kausar’s Grave
Seher then tells Mahid that she wants to visit her mother’s grave.
Mahid immediately becomes uncomfortable.
He knows that going there will force him to confront the guilt he has been carrying for years. He therefore refuses to accompany her.
Seher tells him that she can go alone, but she wants his support. She believes she will feel stronger if he is beside her.
Seher remembers Farid’s advice that Mahid needs to face reality and move forward instead of remaining trapped in his guilt.
She believes that she needs to stay beside Mahid and help him control his emotions. She wants him to understand that he cannot spend his entire life punishing himself.
Seher considers it her responsibility to help Mahid free himself from his guilt.
After battling his inner emotions, Mahid finally agrees to accompany her.
Sanaya’s Trap for Amal
Meanwhile, Sanaya praises Amal for her work.
She then shocks Amal by demanding Rs. 1 lakh in exchange for introducing her work to a publisher.
Amal becomes confused and leaves without knowing what to do.
Later, Husna asks Sanaya whether Amal will fall into their trap.
Sanaya confidently assures her that their plan is working.
Seher Visits Kausar’s Grave
Seher eventually reaches Kausar’s graveyard with Mahid.
She places Kausar’s favourite flowers near her grave.
However, Seher remains silent.
Mahid notices her silence and gently asks her why she is not saying anything. He tells her that perhaps her mother is waiting to hear from her.
He encourages Seher to tell Kausar that she fulfilled her dream and became a doctor.
Seher breaks down emotionally.
She says that Kausar is not there to hug her or congratulate her. The thought makes her realize just how much she misses her mother.
Mahid comforts her and says that Kausar’s soul is always with her. He assures Seher that her mother will always bless her.
Unable to control her emotions, Seher hugs Mahid and cries.
Mahid remains beside her as she finally releases some of the grief she has been carrying for years.

This episode delivers a strong emotional continuation of Seher and Mahid’s relationship. The engagement track moves forward, but the real strength of the episode comes from Seher understanding that Mahid is carrying guilt just as she is carrying grief.
The visit to Kausar’s grave is particularly touching. Seher finally gets a chance to express the pain she has been suppressing, while Mahid realizes that standing beside her may also help him confront his own past. Their relationship is slowly shifting from forced proximity to genuine emotional support.
Insha’s jealousy adds some tension to the engagement track, while Sanaya’s attempt to trap Amal creates a parallel complication. The upcoming revelation about Mahid’s mother could finally explain why he has been unable to face his past for so many years.
