Yeh Fitoor Tera 14th August 2026 Written Update: Soumya Becomes Jeet’s Proxy Writer, Defies Her Family for Truth
The episode begins with Madhu advising Uma to apply salt to the bitter gourd to reduce its bitterness. Uma, however, says that the humiliation caused by Soumya is far more bitter than the vegetable.
Anup immediately defends his daughter. He tells Uma that Soumya is innocent and the pictures circulating about her are AI-generated. He assures Soumya that she does not need to explain herself to anyone because he trusts her and will protect her.
Soumya becomes emotional and thanks her father.
Uma then asks Anup whether he will accompany Soumya to college to protect her. Madhu questions why Anup should go with Soumya, while Anup tells his daughter not to attend college until Jeet is reinstated.
Meanwhile, Roop informs Anup that Sanjib is preparing an extremely difficult question paper for Jeet.
Sanjib Plans to Make Jeet Fail
Sanjib prepares the examination paper and proudly shows it to Nita. He boasts that nobody has ever prepared such a difficult paper and claims that Jeet will definitely fail.
He even declares that Jeet will eventually be thrown out of the locality.
However, Ridhan decides to help Jeet. He secretly takes a picture of the question paper so Jeet can prepare for the examination.
Meanwhile, Jeet notices that Soumya is upset and tries to speak to her.
Soumya tells him firmly that he should not tell everyone that she is his girlfriend.
Jeet explains that he only called her his girlfriend to protect her from the people humiliating her. Soumya, however, remains uncomfortable and asks him never to call her that again.
Later, Krish brings coffee for Jeet. Jeet asks him to thank Soumya because she made the coffee.
Jeet Chooses Honesty
Ridhan tells Jeet about the leaked question paper and says that he can use it to prepare without staying awake all night.
Jeet refuses.
Ridhan is surprised when Jeet burns the question paper instead of using it.
Jeet makes it clear through his actions that he would rather face the difficult examination honestly than take an unfair advantage.
Ridhan feels proud of him.
Soon, Soumya asks Ridhan why he went to Jeet’s room. Ridhan tells her that Jeet refused to accept the question paper.
Soumya praises Jeet for choosing hard work and honesty.
Ridhan then asks her why she still looks so worried.
Soumya says that she always ends up facing problems because of someone else. Ridhan asks her to calm down, but Soumya remains troubled.
Jeet Struggles During the Examination
The next day, Sanjib notices Jeet’s confidence and reminds him that his hand is fractured. He says Jeet can take someone’s help while writing the examination, but if he does so unfairly, Sanjib will consider it cheating.
However, nobody comes forward to help Jeet.
Shaurya is delighted by the situation.
Soumya learns that everyone has refused to help Jeet. She sees Sanjib telling him that he will have to manage the examination on his own.
Jeet begins writing with his injured hand.
But the pain soon becomes unbearable.
His hand starts cramping while he struggles to continue writing.
Soumya watches the situation helplessly.
Sanjib accuses Jeet of creating unnecessary drama and orders him to stop.
He then declares that the examination is over.
Jeet refuses to surrender.
He removes his plaster and insists that he will complete the examination at any cost.
Soumya Chooses to Stand With Jeet
Jeet’s determination deeply affects Soumya.
She realizes that nobody is willing to stand beside him despite the difficult circumstances. She feels that she cannot simply watch him suffer.
At the same time, Soumya becomes conflicted.
She knows that helping Jeet could once again create problems for her own family. After everything that has happened, she fears that Anup may be disappointed with her.
Then she remembers the first teaching of the Geeta—to stand with the truth.
Soumya realizes that Jeet is fighting against an unfair situation and that abandoning him would be wrong.
She decides to help him.
Soumya leaves but stops at the college gate.
She remembers how Jeet has repeatedly helped her whenever she was in trouble.
Those memories give her the courage to make her decision.
Soumya finally enters the college.
She rushes toward the Dean’s office, determined to help Jeet.
Shaurya tries to stop her, but Soumya refuses to back down.
She enters the Dean’s room and shocks everyone with her decision.
Sanjib is stunned when he learns that Soumya has decided to become Jeet’s proxy writer for the examination.
The episode ends with Soumya taking a major stand for Jeet despite knowing that her decision could put her against her own family.

This episode gives Soumya a strong emotional turning point. After spending so much time dealing with humiliation because of Jeet, she could easily have chosen to stay away from him. Instead, she recognizes that Jeet is genuinely fighting an unfair battle and decides to stand beside him.
Jeet burning the leaked question paper is another highlight. It proves that despite his rough personality and the reputation he has built around himself, he values honesty when it truly matters.
The most interesting part is Soumya’s internal conflict. She knows that becoming Jeet’s proxy writer could anger Anup, yet she ultimately chooses what she believes is right. Her decision is likely to create another major clash between father and daughter.
