Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 14th August 2026 Written Update: Myra Reveals Kabir Is Raghu’s Son, Abhira Takes Her Side
Today’s episode begins with Abhira asking Myra whether the boy she travelled with is a close friend. Myra admits that she does not know much about him because she was more excited about meeting the family. However, she notices Armaan and quickly changes the topic.
Armaan confronts Myra for hiding the fact that she travelled with a male friend. Myra becomes irritated and says that she hides things because Armaan immediately reacts whenever he hears the words “male friend.” Their argument leaves both of them upset.
Abhira asks Myra to get ready for the veneration.
Armaan Worries About Myra
Armaan remains worried about the boy and Myra’s safety. Mukti waits for an opportunity to speak to him. Armaan notices her and assures her that she can discuss anything with him whenever she wants.
However, Armaan believes that Mukti will take Myra’s side.
Mukti becomes angry with Myra for repeatedly allowing her emotions to overpower her judgment and making what she considers wrong decisions.
Armaan points out that Myra is similar to Abhira.
Mukti reminds him that Myra also reacts strongly because of Armaan’s reactions. Armaan gives her a look.
Meanwhile, Abhira helps Myra get ready. Myra complains that Armaan has become too overprotective of her.
Abhira explains that if Myra reacts angrily to Armaan, he will only become more protective. She asks Myra to understand that Armaan’s behaviour comes from his concern.
Myra, however, feels that Armaan overreacts and wishes that he could be as understanding as Abhira.
Mukti also asks Armaan to calm down. She warns him that if he keeps reacting this way, Myra may eventually stop sharing things with him.
Mukti reminds Armaan that Myra is an adult and needs some space to understand herself and make her own decisions.
Armaan then tells Mukti that she is just like Myra. He reveals that he even spoke to her coach and warned him not to shout at her unnecessarily.
Mukti becomes happy hearing this.
Abhira also tries to make Myra understand Armaan. She reminds her that she and Mukti have Armaan, who is always there for them. Abhira says Armaan has experienced many difficult situations in life, which is why he becomes possessive about Myra and Mukti.
Myra Decides to Tell Armaan About Kabir
The Poddars gather for the veneration.
Myra decides that she should finally tell Armaan about Kabir.
Meanwhile, at the Damani house, Nandani refuses to perform the veneration until Kabir returns. Raghu tells her that Kabir checked out long ago.
Nandani asks Raghu to bring Kabir back, while Bhairavi assures her that Kabir will return.
Myra finally tells Armaan that she met Kabir by chance and may never see him again. She asks Armaan to end their argument over a stranger.
Abhira becomes happy when Armaan and Myra make peace.
Mukti asks Myra to take pictures with her trophy. She notices a crack on it.
Myra remembers that Kabir helped her and also left the trophy behind. She decides to call him and thank him.
The Damanis Search for Kabir
The Damanis soon learn that Kabir boarded a taxi with a girl.
Bhairavi orders Samar and Raghav to find the girl and question her about Kabir.
Back at the Poddar house, Armaan says that he will not become a possessive father.
Abhira laughs and tells him that he is clearly joking.
Soon, Armaan and Abhira learn that the Damanis have arranged free food service for Sawan devotees.
Abhira tells Armaan not to worry because the Damanis are not coming to their house.
Armaan confidently says that the Damanis can never come to their place.
Myra Learns Kabir’s Identity
Myra then discovers that Kabir is actually a Damani.
Kaveri, Vidya and Mukti immediately stop her from mentioning the Damanis in front of everyone.
At the same time, Nandani asks Raghu to find Myra and bring Kabir back.
Raghu regrets failing to protect his son.
Elsewhere, Mukti becomes suspicious and wonders whether Kabir befriended Myra deliberately because she is a Poddar.
Samar informs the Damanis that Myra is Armaan’s daughter. He begins to suspect that Kabir may be with Armaan.
Myra and Mukti discuss Kabir while the tension continues to rise.
Raghu and Samar blame Armaan, but Nandani defends him. She says Abhira appears to be a responsible mother and would never use her daughter for professional rivalry.
Raghu and Samar remain against the Poddars.
Myra Finally Tells Abhira the Truth
Suddenly, Myra shouts.
Abhira asks her what happened.
Mukti tries to cover for Myra, but Abhira immediately realizes that something is being hidden.
Instead of forcing Myra to speak, Abhira calmly tells her that she should tell the truth whenever she feels comfortable.
Myra finally reveals the shocking truth.
Kabir is the Damanis’ son.
Abhira is stunned.
Raghu and Samar become determined to bring Kabir back.
Myra becomes terrified that Armaan will learn the truth. Abhira reassures her and expects Armaan to understand her situation.
However, Abhira advises Myra to maintain some distance from Kabir.
Myra insists that Kabir is not her friend and says she does not want to meet him again.
The episode ends with Myra caught between her growing concern for Kabir and the fear of what could happen if Armaan discovers the entire truth.

Armaan senses that danger is approaching his family. Raghu and Samar gate-crash the Poddar house and confront Myra about Kabir. Myra denies knowing anything about him, but Samar accuses her of lying.
Abhira takes a stand for Myra.
Raghu says Myra is an adult and must pay for her actions. He decides to take her to the police station, leaving Myra and the entire Poddar family shocked.
Review
This episode nicely develops the Myra-Kabir track while also highlighting Armaan’s protective nature as a father. Myra’s frustration is understandable because Armaan’s immediate suspicion makes her reluctant to share things with him, while Armaan’s concern comes from his fear of losing control over his children’s safety.
The most important moment is undoubtedly Myra revealing Kabir’s identity to Abhira. The fact that Kabir is a Damani’s son takes what initially looked like a harmless chance meeting and turns it into a potentially explosive conflict between the two families.
Abhira’s approach toward Myra is also refreshing. Instead of forcing her to confess, she gives her the space to speak when she is ready. But the upcoming confrontation at the Poddar house suggests that Myra may not get much time to hide the truth.
The precap promises a major showdown, especially with Raghu deciding to take Myra to the police station.
