Anupama 15th August 2026 Written Update: Prem Rejects Anupama’s Sweets, Lie Detector Task Creates New Trouble
Today’s episode of Anupama begins with the organizers stopping the buzzer, leaving Ishani devastated. She feels that Mahi has ruined her chance to build her career. Mahi, however, defends herself by saying that she is simply playing the game according to the rules.
Kinjal questions Mahi and asks whether she is allowing her ego to come in the way of Ishani’s career. She asks Mahi whether winning the task is more important than someone’s future.
Prem immediately supports Mahi.
He argues that if Anupama can use her motherly affection while giving orders to Rahi, then they are also allowed to do whatever is necessary to win the competition. Prem tells everyone that he and Mahi will do anything required to secure victory.
Prerna And Khyati Lose Their Task
Meanwhile, Prerna and Khyati discuss their strategy.
They decide that they will not give orders to each other because they do not want to lose points for their respective teams. However, the organizers overhear their conversation and immediately cancel their task.
The organizers then alert Digvijay and Prem about the upcoming round.
Back at the Shah house, Leela notices Anupama preparing sweets.
She asks Anupama why she is making them when everyone is already under so much pressure. Anupama explains that cooking helps her release her stress.
Hasmuk jokingly asks how eating sweets can release stress.
Anupama smiles and explains that it is not only the person eating the sweets who feels better—the person preparing them also finds relief through cooking.
While making the sweets, Anupama remembers Prem’s love for them.
She misses her son.
Prerna notices her emotions and tells Anupama that she is wasting her time hoping that Prem will eventually choose the right path. Ansh also comments that Prem has become arrogant like Paritosh.
Paritosh immediately objects to being dragged into the discussion.
The Shah family tries to comfort Anupama.
Digvijay assures her that they will eat the sweets on Prem’s behalf.
Unfortunately, Prem notices the sweets but deliberately ignores them.
Digvijay Tries To Make Prem Eat Anupama’s Sweets

Paritosh immediately understands the trick.

Digvijay finally tells Prem to eat the sweet and secure the points for his team.
Prem stands there, conflicted.
Hasmuk asks Prem to eat the sweets and put an end to the hatred between him and Anupama.
Leela questions Hasmuk about which team he is supporting.
Hasmuk gives an emotional answer. He says he is supporting relationships, not a team.
Prem’s own team continues asking him to eat.
But Prem refuses.
He throws the sweet away and declares that he will not even drink water from Anupama’s hand.
Anupama is heartbroken.
The task comes to an end.
Digvijay apologizes to Anupama and tells her that he tried his best.
Anupama quietly tells him that although a team leader may have won the round, a mother has lost.
Anupama And Prem Face A Lie Detector Test
Shruti, Meeta and Gautam criticize Prem for throwing away the opportunity.
Gautam says that if winning were the only goal, he would even drink poison to win, but Prem could not bring himself to eat Anupama’s sweet.
Despite Prem’s refusal, Anupama’s team continues to lead the competition.
The organizers then announce another major twist.
They thank Anupama and Prem for cooperating with the show and reveal that a lie detector test will take place at the end.
The purpose will be to prove whether Anupama and Prem are genuinely rivals or whether their emotions are telling a different story.

Gautam says that he is willing to stay at the Shah house for Pranshi, but his headache makes it difficult for him to stay awake all night to take care of the lamp.
Paritosh immediately refuses to sleep with Gautam.
Hasmuk tells Gautam to sleep with Paritosh, leaving Paritosh annoyed because he knows exactly what Hasmuk is planning.
Prem decides to sleep at his café.
However, Anupama insists that he stay and help take care of the lamp burning for Pranshi.
Prem and Rahi agree to look after it together.
Rahi tells Prem that she wants to sleep in his lap.
Anupama watches them and becomes happy seeing Prem and Rahi together.
Anupama And Khyati Remember The Old Days
Meanwhile, Vasundhara struggles to sleep beside Leela.
She thinks about Hasmuk and feels sorry for him for tolerating Leela’s habits for so many years.
Vasundhara then splashes water on Leela’s face and deliberately disturbs her.
Elsewhere, Anupama and Khyati discuss how neither of them can sleep despite being exhausted.
They remember the old days when both families would reunite during festivals and functions and spend nights together.
The memories make them emotional.
Anupama and Khyati wish that such family sleepovers could happen more often.
Khyati then expresses her sadness over the way Prem continues hurting Anupama.
She praises Anupama for the way she is handling the competition despite everything happening around her.
Anupama tells Khyati that she is proud to see her participating in the competition as well.
She then shares an important dream with her.
Anupama reveals that after winning the competition, she wants to build her own house.
The episode ends with the family unaware that the upcoming lie detector round could expose some painful truths.
