Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 15th August 2026 Written Update: Kabir Goes Missing, Myra Faces Arrest, Armaan And Abhira Stand By Her
Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Kaveri asking everyone to gather for the veneration. However, the peaceful atmosphere is disturbed when Manoj suddenly complains of severe stomach pain.
Manoj reveals that he had eaten sweets from their favourite sweet shop. Abhira immediately understands that he may have suffered food poisoning after consuming the sweets.
She asks Manoj to complain against the shop, but Manoj hesitates. He argues that the shop has built its reputation over many years and questions how they can damage its name with a complaint.
Abhira strongly disagrees.
She talks about the real meaning of freedom and questions when people will finally become free from their regressive thinking. She explains that complaining about a shop selling unsafe food is not about destroying someone’s reputation. It is about protecting other citizens.
Abhira tells Manoj that his complaint could force the food department to inspect the shop and check the quality of its products. In that way, he could potentially save many other people from suffering the same problem.
Myra also supports Abhira and asks Manoj to write the complaint.
Raghu And Samar Gate-Crash The Poddar House
The Poddars then gather for the veneration.
Amid the rituals, Abhira’s thoughts return to Myra and Kabir. She remains worried about the situation.
Armaan also feels strangely restless.
He wonders why he is feeling uneasy when everything seems to be fine. Myra has patched things up with him, so he cannot understand what could possibly go wrong.
However, Armaan’s instincts warn him that something is about to happen.
Just then, Raghu and Samar arrive at the Poddar house.
Armaan senses that a storm is approaching his family and decides that he must protect them. He tries to close the door, but he is stunned when he comes face-to-face with Raghu and Samar.
The two men force their way into the Poddar house.
Abhira immediately stands beside Armaan as the family becomes tense.
Raghu Demands Kabir’s Return
Raghu and Samar begin calling out for Kabir.
Raghu assures Kabir that he has come to save him and asks him to come outside. Samar also asks Kabir to give them some kind of signal.
Armaan is confused.
He asks who Kabir is and why they are creating such a scene inside his house.
Raghu angrily tells Armaan to stop pretending and demands that he return his son.
Abhira asks Armaan not to overreact and requests that he first listen to her explanation.
Armaan then asks Raghu what Myra has to do with Kabir.
Raghu turns toward Myra and asks whether she has told Armaan the truth about what happened at the Jaipur festival.
He reveals that Myra was with Kabir at the festival and returned to Udaipur with him.
Armaan is stunned.
Abhira quickly explains that Myra only learned the complete truth recently and had already told her everything. She asks Armaan to remain calm.
Myra Is Accused Of Lying
Raghu and Samar question Myra about Kabir’s whereabouts.
Myra tells them that she dropped Kabir on the road because he wanted to take pictures and then go home.
Raghu and Samar refuse to believe her.
They accuse Myra of lying about Kabir.
Abhira and Armaan immediately take a stand for Myra.
Samar goes even further and claims that Myra is deliberately lying because she wants to take revenge on Kabir.
Raghu and Samar then decide to take Myra to the police station.
The situation triggers Myra’s past trauma, leaving her extremely distressed.
Abhira and Armaan become furious at the way Raghu and Samar are treating Myra.
Armaan firmly tells them to leave.
Samar warns that next time they will return with the police.
Myra Blames Herself For Kabir’s Disappearance
After Raghu and Samar leave, Myra becomes increasingly worried.
She cannot understand why Kabir has not reached home.
She repeatedly tries to call him.
Armaan, Abhira and Mukti comfort her.
Myra begins blaming herself for the situation. She regrets not dropping Kabir directly at his house and wonders whether something happened to him after she left him.
Armaan reassures her that the Damanis will not be able to simply bring the police and blame her without proof.
Meanwhile, Bhairavi questions Raghu and Samar about Kabir.
They tell her that the police will question Myra.
Bhairavi, however, refuses to allow them to enter the house until they find Kabir and bring him back.
Sanjay Blames Abhira
Back at the Poddar house, Abhira feels guilty.
She regrets having fought the legal case against the Damanis because she now fears that the rivalry between the families may have placed Myra in danger.
Armaan consoles her.
He also learns more about Kabir’s disappearance and hopes that he will be found soon.
Sanjay reacts angrily when he learns that Kabir has gone missing after spending time with Myra.
Kaveri immediately tells Sanjay not to directly blame Myra.
But Sanjay questions why Myra shared a cab with Kabir in the first place.
He then turns his anger toward Abhira and accuses her of giving her daughters too much freedom.
Sanjay says that Armaan’s concern about Myra is justified.
Mukti refuses to tolerate the accusation and takes a strong stand for Abhira. She argues with Sanjay and defends her mother.
The argument escalates as the family becomes increasingly worried about Myra.
Police Arrive To Arrest Myra
The situation takes a shocking turn when the police arrive at the Poddar house.
They come to arrest Myra in connection with Kabir’s disappearance.
Myra is left terrified.
Armaan and Abhira are shocked by the development, but they remain determined to protect Myra and uncover what actually happened to Kabir.

Review
This episode shifts the Kabir-Myra track into a much more serious phase. What initially appeared to be a harmless meeting between two youngsters has now turned into a police case, with Myra being accused of knowing more about Kabir’s disappearance than she is admitting.
The strongest part of the episode is Armaan and Abhira standing together for Myra. Armaan’s protective instincts are understandable, but Abhira also manages to keep the situation from escalating further by asking everyone to hear Myra’s side before judging her.
Sanjay’s accusations against Abhira add another layer of family conflict, especially because Mukti refuses to remain silent and defends her mother.
The biggest mystery, however, remains Kabir. Myra genuinely seems worried about him, which makes it difficult to believe that she deliberately caused his disappearance. The precap further complicates matters with Raghav and Nandani finding Myra unconscious.
The track is moving toward a major revelation, and the police involvement raises the stakes considerably.
