Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 15th August 2026 Written Update: Karan Finally Accepts Samaira and Sid’s Marriage

Today’s episode begins with Tripti explaining the affidavit to the Virani family. She tells them that Samaira is an adult and has the legal right to marry Sid. The affidavit clearly states her decision, and Tripti warns the family that if anyone tries to stop the marriage, Samaira can take legal action against them.

However, Tripti makes one thing clear. Although Sid and Samaira can legally get married in court, she does not want them to marry secretly. She wants her son to get married with the entire family present and with all the traditional rituals.

Gautam tries to convince Karan that they can still find a way to challenge the affidavit. Shail, however, reminds him that Sid and Samaira are both adults, which means the family cannot legally force them apart.

Karan becomes furious.

He blames Tulsi for destroying everything and accuses her of helping Samaira escape from the house. He also claims that Samaira had slowly started accepting her engagement with Parag, but Tulsi’s interference ruined everything.

Karan admits that he may not be able to keep Samaira unmarried forever, but he remains adamant that he will never allow her to marry Sid.

Samaira Takes A Drastic Step

Samaira becomes extremely upset after hearing Karan’s words and runs to her room. The family follows her, worried about her emotional state.

Meanwhile, Tripti leaves with Sid.

Inside the house, Karan becomes increasingly angry. In his frustration, he even tries to raise his hand against Samaira. Tulsi immediately stops him and questions how he could even think about hitting his own daughter.

Karan once again blames Tulsi for the entire situation. He accuses her of influencing Samaira and making her take decisions against her family.

Sid, meanwhile, is deeply worried about Samaira. He tells Tripti that he will never forgive himself if something happens to her.

Tripti tries to calm him down and reminds him about their plan. She believes that if the Virani family starts fearing that they could actually lose Samaira, they will realise how important she is to them. According to Tripti, this fear may eventually make them forgive Samaira and accept her relationship with Sid.

But things soon take a shocking turn.

Garima notices that Samaira is about to harm herself.

The family immediately rushes to save her. Nandini desperately tries to open the door and repeatedly pleads with Samaira not to do anything to herself.

Samaira is completely broken by the pressure surrounding her.

She tells Karan that she will neither marry Sid nor anyone else.

Samaira Blames Her Family’s Past

Samaira emotionally tells Karan that the family’s love for their painful past has completely overshadowed her happiness.

She says that she has never been able to live according to her own wishes. She feels trapped by everyone’s expectations and believes that the family might be happier if she were no longer there.

Her words leave everyone horrified.

The family desperately tries to convince her that her life is far more important than any disagreement over her marriage.

Karan is reminded of the painful death of Parth. He tells Gautam and Shail that he has already lost his son and cannot bear the thought of losing his daughter too.

Gautam tries to reassure him that they can think about challenging the affidavit later. Shail again reminds Karan that Sid and Samaira are adults and the family cannot legally force them to separate.

Karan finally breaks down.

He agrees to Samaira’s marriage with Sid.

Karan tells her that he has already lost his son and cannot lose his daughter as well. He says they will sit together and discuss the marriage calmly.

Samaira becomes emotional and hugs her father.

For the moment, it appears that Karan has accepted Sid and Samaira’s relationship. However, his decision is clearly driven more by his fear of losing his daughter than by genuine acceptance of their love.

Sid Remains Worried

Meanwhile, Sid is still unsure about the situation.

He tells Tripti that he does not understand how he can marry Samaira when her entire family remains against their relationship.

Tripti reassures him that things will eventually change. She believes the Viranis will understand how much Samaira means to them and will eventually forgive the couple.

Tripti remains confident that her plan is working.

She hopes that Sid and Samaira will soon be able to marry with the Virani family present and, more importantly, with their acceptance.

The episode ends with Samaira emotionally shaken and Karan struggling to understand whether he has made the right decision. While Sid remains uncertain about his future with Samaira, Tripti believes that the marriage is finally within reach.

Precap

Samaira tells Sid that Karan wants to speak with him. Meanwhile, Mr. Dasgupta tells Tripti that he is certain the Viranis will never genuinely accept Sid and Samaira’s marriage, but Tripti remains confident that they will eventually come around.

Nandini questions Samaira about whether Karan has truly accepted her marriage with Sid, while Karan remains confused about what he should do next.

Meanwhile, Tulsi has a disturbing dream in which she sees Tripti torturing Samaira after her marriage. She wakes up frightened and begins worrying about Samaira’s future.

Review

This episode takes the Samaira-Sid track into a much darker and more emotional phase. Karan’s eventual acceptance of the marriage is significant, but it does not feel like a complete change of heart. His decision comes from the fear of losing Samaira after already experiencing the pain of losing Parth.

Samaira’s emotional breakdown also shows just how much pressure she has been carrying. The family’s reaction finally makes Karan realise that continuing to force her could have devastating consequences.

At the same time, Tripti’s confidence remains suspicious. She claims that she wants the children to marry with everyone’s blessings, but Tulsi’s disturbing dream in the precap hints that something much more dangerous could be waiting after the wedding.

The biggest question now is whether Karan’s acceptance will actually bring peace to the family—or whether Tripti has another plan waiting.
