Dr. Aarambhi 17th August 2026 Written Update: Aarambhi Investigates the Pen Drive Mystery as Dhruv Fears Exposure

The episode begins with Manju confronting Aarambhi over her behaviour toward the Tandon family. She questions Aarambhi about why she came to the house if she was going to behave this way. Manju reminds her that they had come to apologise to the Tandon family, but instead, Aarambhi ended up showing her arrogance.

Manju becomes extremely emotional and warns Aarambhi that if she continues behaving arrogantly instead of apologising to the Tandon family, she will not be able to bear it. She even threatens Aarambhi that she will see Manju’s dead body if she repeats such behaviour.

Balbir immediately intervenes and asks Manju to stop emotionally blackmailing Aarambhi. He tells Manju that she should not make such statements again and warns that if she continues, she will see his dead body instead.

Suneel gives Aarambhi two days

Meanwhile, Vishwas questions Suneel about giving Aarambhi two days to prove her innocence.

Suneel explains that he originally wanted to divorce Aarambhi because she had filed a complaint against the Tandon family and sent them to jail. However, he says the situation can change if Aarambhi proves that she was not responsible for handing over the pen drive to the police.

Suneel makes it clear that if Aarambhi can establish her innocence, he will have no reason to proceed with the divorce.

He therefore tells Vishwas that they will not discuss the divorce for the next two days.

However, Raj overhears their conversation.

Raj takes a stand for Aarambhi

Raj enters and confronts the Tandon family. He points out that Vishwas wants to divorce Aarambhi even though the Tandon family themselves had allegedly taken dowry from Naira’s parents.

Vishwas tells Raj to stay out of their family matter.

Raj refuses to remain silent and continues questioning their decision.

Suneel then reminds Raj that he has already given Aarambhi two days to prove her innocence.

Raj sarcastically mocks Suneel for giving her a deadline when she has not even been proven guilty. He questions why Aarambhi has to prove her innocence when the family has no evidence against her.

Suneel refuses to continue the argument and says that the divorce issue will not be discussed for the next two days.

Realising that there is no point arguing with the Tandon family, Raj leaves.

Balbir, however, continues to support Aarambhi. He tells Manju that he has complete faith in Aarambhi and is confident that she will prove that she had nothing to do with the pen drive.

Raj later meets Aarambhi and reassures her as well. He tells her that he trusts her and knows that she will prove her innocence.

Aarambhi thanks Raj for standing by her.

Dhruv becomes nervous

Meanwhile, Dhruv speaks to Kuldeep about the pen drive.

He asks Kuldeep whether there is any possibility that the tea-stall vendor could recognise him.

Kuldeep confidently says that there is no such possibility because he had approached the vendor while disguised as a woman. He had handed over the pen drive to him and instructed him to give it to the police.

Dhruv feels relieved after hearing this.

However, he soon becomes worried again.

Dhruv thinks that Aarambhi may contact Naira to find out who actually gave the pen drive to the police. If that happens, there is a possibility that his entire plan could be exposed.

Aarambhi turns to Naira

Aarambhi decides to investigate the matter herself.

She visits Naira at her home and explains the situation. Aarambhi tells Naira that the Tandon family believes she was the person who gave the pen drive to the police.

She asks Naira to help her prove her innocence.

Naira agrees to support Aarambhi and promises to help her find out the truth.

Just then, Dhruv arrives at Naira’s house.

He is visibly shocked to see Aarambhi there.

Aarambhi immediately questions Dhruv about his presence. Dhruv quickly comes up with an explanation.

He says that he thought Aarambhi might need his help.

He then turns toward Naira and asks whether she has learned anything about the person who handed the pen drive over to the police.

Naira says she does not have any such information.

She explains that a police officer had come to her room and informed her about the Tandon family’s demand for dowry from her parents.

Naira apologises to Aarambhi for being unable to provide any information that could help her.

Aarambhi accepts the situation and leaves.

However, Dhruv is not convinced that the matter is over.

He realises that Aarambhi is actively investigating the pen drive mystery and decides that he needs to keep a close watch on her.

Avantika advises Saniya

Elsewhere, Avantika speaks to Saniya in the kitchen.

She advises Saniya to behave properly with Suneel and Dimple if she wants to remain in the Tandon house permanently.

Saniya agrees to follow her advice.

Meanwhile, Aarambhi’s investigation continues to put pressure on Dhruv.

He knows that if Aarambhi manages to uncover the truth about the pen drive, his carefully planned scheme could collapse.

Aarambhi, meanwhile, refuses to give up. She knows that the next two days are crucial because her future with Vishwas and the Tandon family depends on proving her innocence.

The episode ends with Dhruv secretly keeping an eye on Aarambhi, while Aarambhi remains determined to uncover the person who actually handed the pen drive to the police.

Precap

Aarambhi becomes suspicious of Dhruv and directly asks him whether he is following her.

Our Take

This episode gives the pen drive mystery a stronger investigative angle. Aarambhi finally gets a clear deadline to prove her innocence, while Dhruv begins to realise that his secret could be in danger.

The most interesting part is Aarambhi’s decision to approach Naira. Dhruv’s immediate appearance at Naira’s house makes his behaviour increasingly suspicious, especially because he already knows that Aarambhi could investigate the identity of the person who delivered the pen drive.

Raj and Balbir also provide Aarambhi with much-needed emotional support at a time when the Tandon family is questioning her character. The two-day deadline creates an effective countdown for the upcoming episodes.

The precap is particularly promising because Aarambhi has started noticing Dhruv’s suspicious behaviour. If she follows this doubt carefully, she could get closer to the real culprit.
