Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan 17th August 2026 Written Update: Ganga Faces An Unexpected Challenge. Sneha asks the judges to expel Rajeev from the competition. Ganga tells Sneha that everyone shouldn’t be punished for someone else’s mistake. She doesn’t want the matter to spread, since it will spoil the reputation of the judges. Vikram tells that he will announce before the third round that Rajeev is unwell and he had to leave the competition. Neena praises Ganga for thinking about Rajeev’s future and respect.
Ganga tells that everyone should get a chance to rectify his mistake. She asks Surender to give the right judgement in the competition. Sneha smiles. Durgavati comes home. She hears Bhavani’s words. She tells that Ganga will make sweets for the puja. Bhavani tells that she is getting a mahurat for Madhu’s Bidaai. Madhu learns this and gets joyful. Durgavati interrupts and tells that she will decide about Madhu’s Bidaai. She says Shekhar didn’t buy the house yet. Bhavani tells that Shekhar went against Vimla and helped Durgavati.
She supports Madhu. She asks the pandit to get the earliest mahurat. Purvi tells Sarla that Sneha will win if Madhu goes with Shekhar. Sarla asks her not to worry, Madhu will not go with Shekhar. The pandit gives the mahurat after one week. Pujari calls Siddhu to give the good news. Madhu cries with joy.
Durgavati hugs and blesses her. Ganga and Sandhya are called by the judges. Neena announces Rajeev’s exit due to his sickness. She tells that she wants the contestants to make continental dishes. Surender tells that they have chosen three countries and the contestants have to prepare the dish of the chosen country. Neena tells that the food, taste and presentation should match the cuisine, and add an Indian twist to the dish.
Ganga picks a chit. Sarla tries to brainwash Durgavati against Shekhar. She tells that she loves Madhu a lot and wants her a good future. She tells that Vimla ill-treats Madhu and she will control Shekhar once again. She says Shekhar loves Madhu, but he has no courage to stand with her. She asks Durgavati to think that Shekhar can fall into Vimla’s words and hurt Madhu again. She asks Durgavati to think well about Madhu’s Bidaai. Purvi hears them and smiles. Neena tells that Sandhya and Ganga got Italy as the chosen country.
She asks them to prepare themselves for the next round. Sandhya tells that she knows Italian cuisine. Ganga tells that she doesn’t know anything. A guy taunts her. Sandhya takes a stand for her. Indu comes to a hotel to find Manohar with his girlfriend. She tells that she will beat Manohar. Kaali gets informed about Indu’s arrival. He tricks Indu by donning a saree and playing a girl’s voice on his phone.
Indu looks on and worries. She spikes sweets and sends them to Manohar. Ganga cries and tells that she felt she would win the competition and pay back the loans, but she has lost all hope now when she is asked to cook an Italian dish. Siddhu and Sneha ask her not to worry; they will help her prepare the perfect Italian dish. Ganga tells that she can’t do it. Sneha encourages her to fight the situation.
Siddhu asks Ganga not to get scared; Murli and he are also with her. Sneha tells that she will check on the internet and help her. Manohar and Kaali eat the sweets. They faint. Indu enters the room. She sees Kaali. She wonders why Kaali and Manohar fooled her. She checks Kaali’s phone and reads Siddhu’s message. She fumes. She tells that she won’t let Ganga win the competition. Sneha shows the pizza recipe videos to Ganga. Siddhu calls Soni. Soni speaks to Sneha and Ganga. She tells that Siddhu told her everything.
She gives an idea to help Ganga. Ganga smiles. Siddhu calls Pujari. Pujari also gives his suggestions. Siddhu calls Sahana. Ganga asks Sahana if she didn’t reach home. Sahana tells that she is on the way. She advises Ganga to create a unique pizza. She wants Ganga to win. Sahana comes home. She says Murli loves her and trusts her, and she will tell him the truth. Kaushalya asks Sahana about the competition.
Brij tells Sahana that they want to see Ganga and her on TV. Sahana tells that everything is okay. Sahana and Murli go to their room to talk. Sneha and Siddhu help Ganga. Sahana reveals Kaushalya, Kusum and Binita’s planning to Murli. She asks him to trust her. She says Kaushalya wants to separate them. Kaushalya tries to hear them.

This episode moves the story forward on two strong fronts: Ganga’s unexpected Italian cooking challenge and Sahana’s determined attempt to expose Kaushalya and Binita.
The competition track gets an interesting turn when Sneha asks the judges to expel Rajeev after his cheating is exposed. Ganga, however, surprises everyone by refusing to let his mistake destroy his future. She asks the judges to give him a chance to correct himself and requests Surender to deliver a fair judgement from now on. Neena appreciates Ganga’s maturity, while Vikram decides to announce Rajeev’s exit as being due to illness rather than publicly exposing his wrongdoing. This gives Ganga a particularly graceful moment, showing that her ambition has not made her insensitive toward others.
The third round then raises the difficulty considerably. The contestants have to prepare continental dishes with an Indian twist, and Ganga and Sandhya are assigned Italy. While Sandhya is familiar with Italian cuisine, Ganga openly admits that she knows nothing about it. Naturally, she becomes discouraged because winning the competition was her hope of repaying the loans.
Thankfully, Sneha and Siddhu refuse to let Ganga give up. Sneha starts researching pizza recipes, while Soni, Pujari and Sahana also contribute ideas. The entire family coming together to help Ganga gives this track a warm emotional touch. Ganga’s strength has always been her family, and this time everyone is determined to become her strength.
The lighter Indu-Manohar-Kaali track provides some comic relief. Indu continues chasing Manohar, while Kaali cleverly disguises himself to fool her. Her attempt to sabotage them by sending spiked sweets backfires when Kaali and Manohar faint before she can accomplish anything. Her discovery of Siddhu’s message, however, immediately puts Ganga’s competition back in danger.
The Madhu-Shekhar track also progresses as Bhavani fixes Madhu’s Bidaai mahurat for the following week. Durgavati remains hesitant because Shekhar has not yet bought the house, while Sarla tries to fill her mind with doubts about Shekhar’s ability to stand up to Vimla. This could create another obstacle before Madhu finally begins her new life with Shekhar.
But the most promising development comes from Sahana and Murli. Sahana finally gathers the courage to tell Murli about Kaushalya, Kusum and Binita’s plan. She asks him to trust her and explains that Kaushalya wants to separate them. This is a crucial moment because Sahana has spent so long being doubted that finally confronting Murli could bring the truth closer to the surface.
Review: A well-balanced episode with Ganga’s Italian challenge providing the main suspense and Sahana’s confrontation with Murli setting up an important family revelation. Ganga’s decision to forgive Rajeev is one of the episode’s strongest emotional moments, while the entire family’s effort to help her keeps the competition track engaging.
