Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th August 2026 Written Update: Kabir Reunites With His Family

Today’s episode begins with Armaan confronting Raghav after Myra is found unconscious. Armaan is furious and blames Raghav for putting his daughter in danger. Abhira, Mukti and Armaan remain worried about Myra’s condition. Armaan accuses Raghav of trying to kidnap Myra, leading to another heated argument between Raghav and Samar.

Nandani and Abhira step in and ask Armaan and Raghav to stop fighting. Nandani decides to take Myra to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, a beggar approaches Armaan and Raghav and asks them for help. Nandani suddenly notices Kabir’s bag with the beggar and points it out to everyone.

Armaan and Raghav immediately question the beggar about the bag. He tells them that he found it lying on the road. The discovery leaves everyone worried about Kabir and raises more questions about what happened to him.

At the hospital, Abhira and Nandani console each other while waiting for Myra to recover. Once Myra regains consciousness, she asks Armaan why he is giving her the silent treatment. She tells him that instead of staying quiet, he should scold her if he is angry.

Mukti tries to protect Myra by claiming that taking her out to search for Kabir was her idea. However, Armaan and Abhira refuse to believe her explanation. Myra also asks Mukti to stop lying and admits that she wants Armaan to speak to her.

Armaan finally loses his patience and scolds both Myra and Mukti for leaving the house without informing anyone. He makes it clear that they should never take such a dangerous step again.

Later, the Poddars welcome Myra, Mukti, Armaan and Abhira back home. Sanjay then gives them shocking news—Kabir has finally been found.

However, Kabir is in a terrible condition. Nandani becomes emotional when she sees him. Samar immediately calls the doctor, while Kabir meets Bhairavi, Nandani and Raghav. Bhairavi asks Kabir what happened to him and urges him to explain everything.

Abhira decides that she should speak to Kabir to understand the truth. However, Armaan stops her. He firmly declares that nobody from the Poddar family will speak to Kabir or his family.

Kaveri and Vidya also ask Abhira not to show too much concern towards the Damanis, believing that they will never appreciate the Poddars’ efforts.

Abhira, however, manages to convince Armaan to let Myra know that Kabir has been found. She explains that if Myra continues feeling guilty and remains unaware of Kabir’s condition, she may never be able to move on from the incident.

Armaan eventually calls Kabir, but Samar immediately warns him not to call again or try to investigate what happened to Kabir. Armaan firmly states that Kabir’s name should not be mentioned in the Poddar house anymore.

Meanwhile, Kabir looks at his injuries and tries to motivate himself. Despite everything he has been through, he decides that he cannot remain weak.

Back at the Poddar house, Myra remains worried about Kabir. Armaan and Abhira try to cheer her up, but Abhira quickly realises that Myra is still restless and wants to know whether Kabir is alright.

Abhira decides to call Nandani, but Armaan distracts her. Abhira then tells Armaan that Myra is clearly trying to find out more about Kabir. Armaan understands the situation but says that Myra is growing up and will have to learn to deal with such situations.

Mukti also asks Myra directly whether she is worried about Kabir.

Meanwhile, Armaan explains to Abhira how Kabir ended up in trouble and continues to speak against him. He believes that the Damanis should apologise to Myra for everything that has happened.

On the other side, Samar gives Kabir a new camera. Kabir becomes extremely happy to receive it. Raghu then orders Kabir to return to work and join the office.

Kabir is stunned when he learns an important truth—that Myra is Armaan’s daughter and therefore a Poddar. This revelation leaves him with even more questions about his connection with Myra and the ongoing conflict between their families.

The episode ends with the tension between the Poddars and Damanis still unresolved, while Myra remains emotionally connected to everything that happened with Kabir.

Review

This episode keeps the Kabir-Myra track at the centre while giving Armaan and Abhira another emotional parenting moment. Armaan’s anger is understandable, especially after Myra’s dangerous decision to go searching for Kabir, but Abhira once again brings a more balanced perspective by reminding him that Myra’s guilt needs to be addressed.

The biggest development is Kabir finally being found, although his poor condition raises even more questions about what happened to him. His discovery that Myra is a Poddar also adds another layer to the rivalry between the two families.

The upcoming romantic track involving Armaan and Abhira also provides a lighter touch after the intense family drama. Overall, the episode successfully balances family emotions, Kabir’s mystery and Armaan-Abhira’s relationship.

Rating: 4/5
