Udne Ki Aasha 20th August 2026 Written Update: Renuka’s Memory Problems Leave Sachin and Sayali Worried
The 20th August 2026 episode of Udne Ki Aasha brings a major development in Renuka’s track as Sachin and Sayali finally manage to get her to the diagnostic centre. What begins as a clever plan to convince Renuka to undergo a health check-up soon turns serious when the doctor notices troubling signs related to her memory. Meanwhile, Tejas struggles to hide from Roshni, while the younger members of the Deshmukh family enjoy a playful moment with Subedar.
The episode begins with Sayali experiencing a strange and unexplained pain inside her body. She senses that something is not right, but she cannot understand what is causing the discomfort. Despite feeling uneasy, she continues dealing with everything happening around the family.
Meanwhile, Sachin secretly works on his plan with his friend. He wants to convince Renuka to undergo a complete health check-up without making her suspicious.
Sachin therefore creates a situation in which Renuka believes that she has been invited to the diagnostic centre as a chief guest.
Renuka happily falls for the plan.
She reaches the diagnostic centre feeling proud of the recognition she has received. She remains completely unaware that Sachin has deliberately brought her there because he wants her to undergo the medical tests.
Sachin hopes that once Renuka is inside the centre, he will somehow convince her to complete the check-up.
However, Sachin is not the only Deshmukh family member who arrives there.
Tejas also reaches the diagnostic centre.
He has come because Devika has asked him to help Kanika. But the moment Tejas notices the entire Deshmukh family at the same place, he becomes extremely nervous.
Tejas immediately starts looking for ways to avoid Roshni.
He desperately tries to stay out of her sight and moves around the centre carefully. However, his attempt to remain unnoticed soon creates another problem.
While trying to hide, Tejas accidentally pricks some balloons.
The balloons burst with a loud noise.
Tejas becomes even more anxious because the sound could easily draw attention towards him.
He quickly moves away and continues trying to avoid Roshni.
Meanwhile, Kanika keeps following Tejas. She wants to remain close to him and help him, making the situation even more complicated for Tejas.
Elsewhere, Laksh, Pankhudi and Arya decide to have some fun with Mr Subedar.
Subedar continues insisting that everyone should follow his rules and maintain discipline.
The children, however, decide to turn his strict nature into an opportunity for some harmless mischief.
They challenge him to participate in their game and somehow convince him to stand in a strange position.
The children then give him funny looks, creating a light-hearted and amusing moment.
Back at the diagnostic centre, Renuka is informed that she needs to undergo a health check-up.
She is told that she is going to become the brand ambassador of the diagnostic company, which gives her another reason to feel special.
However, Renuka suddenly becomes hesitant about undergoing the tests.
She tries to avoid the health check-up.
Paresh then steps in.
He challenges Renuka and motivates her to prove that she is brave enough to complete the examinations.
His words work.
Renuka finally agrees to undergo the tests.
The doctor begins examining her carefully.
During the examination, however, he notices something concerning.
He realises that Renuka has been forgetting several incidents and events from her recent life. Her repeated episodes of forgetfulness therefore appear to be more serious than the family initially believed.
The doctor becomes concerned about her memory-related problems.
Outside the chamber, Sachin and Sayali anxiously wait for the examination to finish.
They had brought Renuka to the centre hoping to understand what was happening with her, but now they are worried about what the tests might reveal.
Sachin and Sayali hope that Renuka’s reports will be normal and that there will be no serious medical issue.
However, the doctor’s observation makes it clear that Renuka’s forgetfulness cannot simply be dismissed as ordinary carelessness anymore.
The family may now have to confront a much bigger problem.
At the same time, Sayali’s unexplained physical discomfort continues to add another layer of concern to the situation.

Review
This episode finally gives Renuka’s forgetfulness the seriousness it has been building toward. Sachin’s clever plan to get her to the diagnostic centre works, but the doctor’s observation turns what initially seemed like a simple family concern into a potentially important health track.
The Tejas-Kanika-Roshni portion adds some comic tension to the episode, especially with Tejas desperately trying to remain hidden while everything seems to expose him instead. The children teasing Subedar also provides a nice lighter moment amid the heavier family storyline.
The emotional highlight, however, is Sachin and Sayali waiting outside the doctor’s chamber. They clearly understand that something is wrong with Renuka, and the coming episodes could reveal exactly what is behind her memory problems.
The precap also gives Sayali a stronger individual track as she decides to stop tolerating humiliation and stand up for herself.
