Yeh Fitoor Tera 20th August 2026 Written Update: Jeet Helps Soumya Save Pihu, Roop Turns Anup Against Her
The 20th August 2026 episode of Yeh Fitoor Tera takes the story into a more intense phase as Roop decides to stop teaching Pihu and leave the locality after Jeet confronts him. While Soumya feels proud that she has managed to protect Pihu from facing the same trauma she endured, Roop manipulates Anup into turning against Jeet. Meanwhile, Soumya and Ridhan’s bond grows stronger, while Soumya slowly discovers the courage to speak her mind.
The episode begins with Roop coming downstairs, leaving everyone confused by his sudden decision. Madhu asks Uma what has happened, but Uma tells Soumya to ask Roop herself because she has already been scolded.
Pihu then approaches Roop and asks whether they can begin their music classes.
Roop shocks everyone by announcing that he is discontinuing the classes for a few days.
He asks Pihu to find another teacher for herself.
Soumya immediately supports Pihu. She tells her that she is a talented student and should continue learning with Shastri Ji. Soumya explains that Tauji needs some rest and therefore will not be able to conduct her classes for some time.
Uma becomes suspicious and asks Roop whether Jeet said something to him.
Soumya feels relieved hearing this.
Soon, Soumya notices Jeet smiling at her. However, Jeet says nothing and simply walks away.
Later, Soumya returns to her room feeling proud of herself.
She thinks that she has finally managed to save Pihu from experiencing the same kind of struggle that she herself had gone through.
Soumya then comes across one of Jeet’s posts. She messages him and tells him to stop behaving like a goon.
She also tells Jeet that despite everything, she believes he is actually a very good person.
Jeet reads her message and realises that Soumya is extremely straightforward. She does not hide what she feels and simply says whatever is in her heart.
Soumya and Ridhan’s bond grows
The next morning, Ridhan drops Soumya at college for her extra class.
Soumya feels guilty for troubling him, but Ridhan assures her that there was hardly any traffic and they reached the college easily.
Before getting out of the car, Soumya gives Ridhan a card suggesting that their story is still incomplete.
She thanks him for always guiding her and standing by her whenever she needed support.
Ridhan tells her that he really likes the gift.
Soumya, however, secretly hopes that he will say something more.
Ridhan then reveals that he especially likes the bookmark she had given him.
Soumya reminds him of all the occasions when he supported her, including the time he dropped her home without asking unnecessary questions.
She thanks him for always taking her side.
Before leaving, Soumya asks Ridhan to promise that he will never leave her alone.
Ridhan gives her his word and promises that he will always be there for her.
His words make Soumya happy, while Ridhan also begins feeling special because of the affection she is showing him.
Roop manipulates Anup
Meanwhile, Roop tells Anup that he has decided to leave the house.
Anup is shocked and asks him what happened.
Roop reminds Anup that he has always given him love and respect, but Uma reveals that Jeet misbehaved with Roop.
Roop confirms that Jeet insulted his talent and made fun of his Sangeet Gurukul.
He says that he cannot tolerate such humiliation anymore and has therefore decided to leave the locality.
Anup believes that Jeet should be the one to leave instead.
However, Roop says that Jeet has already taken everything away from him.
Uma becomes emotional and tells Anup that Jeet insulted her husband, which is why Roop was forced to take such a drastic decision.
Madhu asks Roop to wait and assures him that Anup will handle Jeet.
But Uma makes the situation worse by blaming Soumya as well. She claims that Soumya is equally responsible for what happened.
Soumya discovers her growing confidence
At college, Soumya attends her class while her friends gossip about Jeet.
The teacher asks everyone to concentrate on their studies.
Soumya then stands up to explain a poem.
She beautifully explains the poet’s message about freedom through the example of a bird that dreams of flying but remains trapped because of fear.
According to Soumya, the bird has to overcome its fear and become fearless if it truly wants to fly freely.
Her explanation reflects the transformation happening within Soumya herself.
The girl who was once frightened to speak about what happened to her is slowly learning to stand up for herself.
Anup decides to take revenge
Back at home, Madhu asks Uma what exactly Soumya has done.
Uma reminds her that Soumya was the one who told Pihu that Roop would no longer be able to teach her.
Anup confronts Madhu, while Uma tells him to confirm everything directly with Roop.
When Anup speaks to Roop, Roop manipulates him further.
He warns Anup that Jeet could take advantage of Soumya and tells him that he must stop her before things go too far.
Anup becomes furious.
He promises to take revenge on Jeet and decides that he will put an end to Jeet’s interference once and for all.
Jeet helps Dadi
Meanwhile, Jeet is riding his bike when Dadi notices that the rope of the pandal has become loose.
She begins looking around for someone who can help her tighten it.
When Jeet arrives, Dadi stops him and asks him for help.
Jeet initially tells her that he is busy.
Dadi then begins her emotional drama and tries to convince him.
Eventually, she tells him that she will manage everything herself.
Jeet immediately understands what she is doing and thinks that Dadi deserves an Oscar for her performance.
When he asks her to move aside, Dadi cleverly takes her chips back.
Jeet accuses her of emotionally blackmailing him.
Dadi, meanwhile, notices similarities between Jeet and Ridhan and feels that the two are almost like real brothers.
Soumya’s confidence catches everyone’s attention
Elsewhere, Soumya is seen blushing.
Pakhi immediately notices that something has changed and says that Soumya seems to be getting good vibes.
Soumya tells Pakhi that she has finally gained confidence and now feels that she can achieve anything.
Pakhi becomes happy seeing such a positive change in Soumya.
However, their moment is interrupted when Roop suddenly appears in front of Pakhi’s car.
Pakhi apologizes to him.
Roop sarcastically says that since he is blind, he does not know who is hiding what from him.
He then reveals that he is going to the temple and says that Soumya will accompany Pakhi.
The episode ends with Soumya becoming increasingly confident while the conflict between Jeet, Roop and Anup moves towards a dangerous confrontation.
Precap
Soumya feels sorry after seeing Jeet staying in a garage.
Jeet tells her that before feeling sorry for him, she should first look at herself.
Krish takes a strong stand in support of Jeet.
Meanwhile, Uma makes a shocking accusation in front of Anup and claims that Soumya is having an affair with Jeet.
Review
This episode is an important turning point for Soumya. The biggest development isn’t simply Roop stopping Pihu’s classes; it is the fact that Soumya is finally beginning to understand her own strength. Her explanation of the poem about the frightened bird feels like a direct reflection of her journey—she has spent so long trapped by fear, and now she is slowly learning to fly.
Jeet’s confrontation with Roop has also clearly shaken the latter. Instead of accepting defeat, Roop immediately starts manipulating Anup and Uma, which could create a much bigger family conflict. The accusation about Soumya and Jeet in the precap is particularly dangerous because Anup is already angry with Jeet.
The Soumya-Ridhan scenes provide a softer emotional track, with Ridhan promising to stand by her. But the upcoming accusation could put even that happiness under pressure.
Overall, the episode successfully moves the story forward on several fronts, especially Soumya’s transformation and Roop’s increasingly desperate attempts to protect himself.
