Vasudha 22nd August 2026 Written Update: Chandrika’s Stern Decision. Everyone blesses Dinesh and Savitri. She asks Hanumant always to keep her Maayka intact. Divya hugs Savitri. She regrets that Savitri is leaving the house. Dev and Vasudha take Savitri’s blessings and wish her happiness. Savitri asks her to stay happy; Chandrika will soon accept her. She hugs Vasudha and cries. Divya asks Vasudha if they can’t help Savitri with money. Dinesh smiles. Savitri says Hanumant already gave her a house, and she wants nothing else.
Dev asks Dinesh to keep Savitri happy. Dinesh agrees. Dinesh and Savitri leave. Divya misses Savitri and cries. Vasudha gets black coffee for her. Divya is upset. She scolds Vasudha for sending Savitri away. Vasudha justifies her decision. Divya says Vasudha has kept Savitri away from the family. She returns the coffee and asks her to leave. Vasudha leaves. Dinesh and Savitri come to a chawl. She says they were going to Mogra.
He tells that he has some work in Udaipur. She asks where they will live. He tells that he has found a little room for them. He taunts her that the Chauhan family didn’t give her anything. She says Vasudha has given her a house and they can earn a living in Mogra. He vents his anger on her. He asks her to clean the room; he will get some food. Vasudha puts the sticky notes on the mirror so that Dev gets all the help.
Dev comes and asks her to think again. She says it’s important since she will protect Prabhat and also get acceptance in the family. They have a moment. He sadly hugs her. Dev gets a call. The manager says Mundwa factory caught fire. He asks Dev to reach there. Dev calls Hanumant and asks him to get the car. He tells Chandrika that Mundwa factory caught fire and he has to go there to check.
Chandrika worries and says Dev won’t go to Mundwa. He says he has to go and check who is attacking the factory again and again; it’s special to them and always brought profits for them. It’s like a second home to them, and he should go to save the workers. She doesn’t want Mayur to go either. Dev asks her what’s wrong, why he can’t go to Mundwa when he is needed there. She says she won’t change her decision. She asks him not to worry; she will speak to the manager and ask him to compensate the loss.
Vasudha thinks about what secret Chandrika is hiding and why. Savitri cleans the room. She waits for Dinesh. She feels hungry. She finds a box under the bed. She checks it. She is shocked to see alcohol bottles. Divya calls her and asks if she reached Mogra. Savitri lies that they have reached Mogra and the neighbours are helpful. Divya wishes her. She asks her to take care. Savitri says Dinesh has gone to the market to buy some stuff. Divya asks her to take care. Dinesh asks the liquor shop owner to let him drink; he will pay the money soon.
The man scolds him for not getting any money to clear his dues. Mayur looks on. He gets to see Dinesh’s true face. Dev speaks to the manager and asks him to update him about the machinery loss. He asks Vasudha why Chandrika is stopping him from going to Mundwa. Vasudha also wants to know the truth. Chandrika feels stressed. She murmurs, asking someone to leave her. Prabhat worries and asks her if she is okay.
He asks her to permit Dev to go and handle the work. She says nobody will go there. He asks why she is doing this. Savitri waits for Dinesh. Dinesh comes drunk. He asks her if she is happy. He says she has cleaned the house, it seems she likes to become a maid. She says she is happy since she had a dream to decorate her house with love. She says he is with her and that’s what matters. She asks if he didn’t get food.
He says he had no money to get food. She asks why he got drunk. He says his friends insisted him to drink. She drinks water. He asks her if anyone called her. She says Divya called her to ask if they had reached Mogra, and she said yes. He says she shouldn’t have lied; she should have told Divya that they have no money to go to Mogra. Mayur comes there. Dinesh doesn’t recognize him and asks him to leave. He asks Savitri if she didn’t make any jewellery with her earnings. She says she did. He gets glad and asks if she got it along.
She says she gave it to Vasudha. He asks her to sleep, he will get food for her tomorrow. Vasudha asks Hanumant if Chandrika has any connection with Mundwa, since she gets worried on hearing the name of this village. He worries and coughs. She asks him to have water. She says now she is sure that Chandrika is worried for some reason. She asks him to say what the matter is. He asks her never to take the name of this village again. He warns her. She says she can’t see Chandrika worried. He asks her to go home. She goes.
He prays for the family. The next morning, Savitri makes breakfast for Dinesh. He tells that they will go to the Chauhan house and have a good meal there. She asks why they will go there. He says they will go and get the jewellery from Vasudha; they will go to Mogra and settle down.
She says Vasudha might feel bad if she asks for the jewellery. He asks if she doesn’t care about him. Chandrika doesn’t want her past to affect her future. Vasudha comes and greets her. She asks Chandrika to permit her to leave, since Savitri’s decision is taken. Chandrika asks if she thinks her decision is right. Vasudha says yes. Chandrika says it must be proved, until then she won’t permit her to go.
Vasudha 22nd August 2026 Written Update Review
This episode takes the Savitri-Dinesh track in a darker direction while simultaneously bringing the mysterious Mundwa secret closer to the surface.
The emotional farewell for Savitri begins the episode on a bittersweet note. The entire family blesses her and Dinesh, while Savitri asks Hanumant to always keep her Maayka intact. Divya struggles to accept that Savitri is leaving and breaks down. Even Vasudha and Dev take Savitri’s blessings and wish her happiness. Savitri, meanwhile, reassures Vasudha that Chandrika will eventually accept her and embraces her emotionally.
Divya questions Vasudha’s decision to send Savitri away without financial support. Vasudha explains her reasoning, but Divya feels that she has unnecessarily separated Savitri from the family. Her frustration shows just how differently the family members view Vasudha’s decision.
Once Savitri and Dinesh leave, however, the reality of their situation becomes clear. Dinesh does not take Savitri to Mogra as promised. Instead, he takes her to a small room in a chawl, claiming that he has some work in Udaipur. He even taunts Savitri about the Chauhan family not giving her anything.
Savitri remains hopeful and says that Vasudha has given her a house and that they can eventually build a life in Mogra. Her optimism is heartbreaking because Dinesh clearly has something else in mind.
The situation gets worse when Savitri discovers alcohol bottles hidden under the bed. Dinesh returns drunk and makes excuses about drinking with friends. He then becomes interested in the jewellery Savitri had earned through her work. When he learns that she gave it to Vasudha, his reaction immediately raises another red flag.
Dinesh later reveals his real intention even more clearly. He tells Savitri that they should go back to the Chauhan house and collect her jewellery from Vasudha. Mayur also gets a glimpse of Dinesh’s suspicious behaviour, strengthening the family’s doubts about him.
Meanwhile, the Mundwa mystery takes centre stage.
Dev learns that the Mundwa factory has caught fire and wants to go there personally. Chandrika’s reaction is extremely unusual. She strongly refuses to let Dev or Mayur go to Mundwa, despite the factory being an important source of profit for the family.
Vasudha immediately notices Chandrika’s fear and starts connecting the dots. She asks Hanumant whether Chandrika has some connection with Mundwa. His reaction is even more suspicious. He becomes visibly worried, warns Vasudha never to mention the village again and refuses to reveal anything.
That warning only makes Vasudha more determined to discover the truth.
Chandrika’s nightmares and her fear of Mundwa suggest that whatever happened there in the past is something she desperately wants to keep buried. Prabhat also notices her distress, but Chandrika refuses to explain herself.
The episode ends with another important condition for Vasudha. She tells Chandrika that Savitri’s decision has been made and asks permission to leave. But Chandrika refuses to give her permission yet. She tells Vasudha that her decision must first be proved right.
This creates two major mysteries going forward: What is Chandrika hiding about Mundwa, and will Vasudha’s decision about Dinesh ultimately save Savitri or put her in greater danger?
