Bareilly Ke Bacchan 24th August 2026 Written Update: Krishna Helps Sangam Rebuild Her Life After Her Family Burns Her Certificates
The episode begins with Krishna confronting Sangam over what her family did to her. He tells her that even his illiterate father would never have behaved in such a cruel manner. His anger reflects how deeply disturbed he is after seeing Sangam lose everything because of her own family.
Ganga reminds Sangam that Krishna had already sensed that something was wrong. He had warned her to be careful, but she did not listen to him at the time. Satluj also becomes furious and tells Krishna that they should go to Sangam’s house and teach her family a lesson.
Sangam, however, stops them.
She tells them that there is no point in going back because her family has already destroyed the one thing she needed the most. They have burned all her certificates, leaving her with nothing to prove her education and qualifications.
Krishna refuses to let Sangam think that her life is over.
He assures her that she can apply for duplicate certificates through her university. According to him, the documents may have been destroyed, but her education and abilities have not disappeared with them. Sangam agrees, but Krishna can still see the pain in her eyes.
Wanting her to release some of her anger, Krishna takes her towards a punching bag. He asks her to imagine the people who hurt her and punch the bag instead of keeping all that anger inside.
Sangam begins thinking about her family’s betrayal.
She remembers how they burned her certificates and then thinks about Vicky. Her anger grows, and she starts punching the bag repeatedly. Krishna watches her and encourages her to let everything out.
Afterwards, Sangam thanks Krishna for helping her.
Later, Aarti arrives at the Bacchan house and speaks with Sangam. She points out that many things inside the house have changed for the better since Sangam came there. She then asks Sangam whether she will observe a Nirjal vrat for Krishna on the occasion of Hariyali Teej.
Sangam remains silent.
Krishna happens to hear their conversation and quietly observes Sangam’s reaction.
Aarti eventually leaves.
Krishna then gives Sangam a gift. When Sangam opens it, she discovers her phone. She becomes happy and thanks Krishna for finding it. Sangam immediately starts thinking about her future. She says that now she can arrange new certificates with photographs and perhaps even apply for a hostel.
Krishna’s expression changes after hearing this.
He clearly does not like the idea of Sangam leaving.
Sangam then checks her phone and notices that everything appears to have been erased. She tells Krishna that the phone seems to have been reset.
Krishna silently thanks God for the development.
Meanwhile, Sangam receives a call from Hema. She immediately cuts the call. Sangam is still deeply hurt by Hema’s lies and tells Krishna that she never wants to speak to Hema again.
She says that she hates lies and cannot forgive people who betray someone’s trust.
Krishna becomes uncomfortable hearing this because he knows that he has also been hiding the truth from Sangam.
Sangam then goes to her room.
Krishna follows her.
He asks Sangam not to turn around and finally decides that he cannot keep hiding his feelings forever. He admits that he has lied to her about many things, including his family and himself.
Then he reveals the truth.
Krishna tells Sangam that he loves her.
However, Sangam does not immediately react to his confession.
Instead, she continues talking about Hema and her betrayal. Krishna is confused by her response and initially does not understand why Sangam is talking about Hema immediately after his confession.
The confusion is cleared when Sangam removes her earbuds.
She reveals that she has been listening to a voice note from Hema. In the message, Hema apologises to Sangam for everything that happened.
Krishna finally understands why Sangam did not react to his confession.
Sangam then asks Krishna a difficult question. She wants to know whether someone who breaks another person’s trust deserves to be forgiven.
Krishna thinks about his own situation before answering.
He says that perhaps such a person should be given another chance.
Sangam disagrees.
For her, trust is not something that can simply be repaired with an apology. Her reaction makes Krishna realise that his own truth may become even harder for her to accept when she eventually discovers everything he has hidden.
The conversation then takes another turn.
Sangam asks Krishna to help her find a job.
Krishna agrees without hesitation.
Later, after leaving the room, Krishna makes a promise to himself. He decides that he will find a suitable job for Sangam and help her rebuild her life. But before revealing the complete truth about himself and his feelings, he wants to make sure that Sangam becomes independent and confident again.
The episode ends with Krishna silently carrying the weight of his secret while Sangam remains unaware of the full truth behind his actions.
Review
This episode works because Sangam’s biggest battle isn’t really about the certificates. Those papers can be replaced, but the trust her family destroyed cannot be reprinted from a university website. Her decision to rebuild herself instead of simply seeking revenge gives the track some emotional weight.
Krishna also gets an interesting layer here. He wants Sangam to become independent, but at the same time, the thought of her leaving clearly bothers him. He is trying to protect her while hiding a truth that could eventually hurt her even more. That’s quite the emotional balancing act.
The punching-bag scene is simple but effective. Sangam finally gets an outlet for all the anger she has been carrying, and Krishna’s support makes their bond feel more natural. At the same time, his confession landing in the middle of her Hema-related heartbreak creates an awkwardly funny situation—Krishna basically poured his heart out while Sangam was busy listening to someone else’s voice note.
The most interesting part is Sangam’s reaction to the question of forgiveness. She is currently unwilling to forgive people who break her trust, which makes Krishna’s secret feel like a ticking emotional bomb. He may be planning to tell her the truth eventually, but Sangam has just made it very clear what she thinks about lies.

“When life burns the papers that prove who you are, the real challenge is proving to yourself that you are still everything those papers said.”
