Bareilly Ke Bacchan 25th August 2026 Written Update: Sangam Brings Teej Traditions to the Bacchan House

The episode begins with Sangam entering the kitchen and finding Ganga cooking. Krishna immediately complains about the sound of the pressure cooker, while Ganga points out that Sangam should not have started cooking before the boys were even awake. Sangam is visibly upset by the situation, especially as she sees how casually everyone treats the household routine.

Determined to bring some discipline into the Bacchan household, Sangam wakes up the brothers and tells them that it is already 10 a.m. She announces that from now on, nobody is allowed to sleep beyond 7 a.m. Krishna tries to convince her to let him sleep a little longer, but Sangam refuses to entertain his excuses and asks Mahi to wake him up as well.

Sangam then announces that the family will celebrate Hariyali Teej. Ganga admits that the brothers do not really know anything about the festival because there has never been a woman in the house to introduce them to such traditions.

Sangam patiently explains the significance of Hariyali Teej and why women observe the festival. The brothers listen to her, and Krishna becomes particularly touched by the tradition. He decides that he will also keep a fast for Sangam.

Sangam then gets everyone involved in preparing the house. She asks Krishna and Mahi to help with the cleaning and gives Krishna specific instructions about what he needs to do. Later, she asks Krishna to get ready while she takes Mahi’s help to prepare the rangoli.

Ajab watches everything taking place.

Meanwhile, Krishna notices his toothbrush and starts wondering whether he has already brushed his teeth. He seriously debates whether he should brush again. Satluj catches him in the middle of this confusion and asks what he is doing.

Krishna explains that he has already brushed once but is considering doing it again. He then decides that he will even take another bath because he has to go outside with Sangam.

Satluj is amused by Krishna’s sudden determination to look his best and walks away after making a comment about him.

The preparations take an unexpected turn when Ajab accidentally drops his alcohol bottle onto the rangoli while walking down the stairs. The beautiful design is ruined.

Mahi immediately complains about what he has done. Ajab casually claims that the bottle fell accidentally.

Sangam then confronts Ajab about his drinking habit. She reminds him that he used to drink heavily even ten years ago and questions why he continues doing the same thing.

Ajab tries to defend himself by claiming that he now drinks only one or two bottles.

Sangam is not convinced.

She points towards the 19 bottles she has collected in just two days and asks him to explain that. Ajab has little to say about the evidence sitting right in front of him.

Instead of accepting the criticism, Ajab tells Sangam not to worry about his health. He says that his life belongs to him and that the house also belongs to him.

Ganga immediately objects to Ajab’s manner of speaking to Sangam and questions how he can behave with her like that.

Ajab makes another remark before leaving.

Sangam also walks away, clearly disappointed by his attitude.

Later, Krishna talks to his brothers and jokingly tells them that they should thank him for bringing such a wonderful Bhabhi into their lives.

Satluj agrees but turns the joke back on Krishna. He says Krishna should actually apologise to Bhabhi because she had to marry someone like him.

The episode ends on this light-hearted note as the Hariyali Teej preparations continue inside the Bacchan household.

Review

This episode brings a refreshing domestic flavour to the story, with Sangam slowly introducing a completely different rhythm into the Bacchan household. Her decision to wake everyone up early, organize the house and introduce Hariyali Teej gives her character a stronger presence within the family. She is no longer simply adjusting to their ways; she is beginning to create her own space and traditions there.

The Teej sequence is particularly sweet because the brothers have apparently been living without many of these traditions, and Sangam becomes the person who brings them into the house. Krishna deciding to fast for her is an especially cute development. The man who needed convincing to wake up before 10 suddenly wants to fast for his wife. Priorities have clearly been rearranged.

Ajab’s track, however, adds a more serious layer beneath the family fun. His casual attitude towards drinking and his insistence that he can do whatever he wants show that Sangam’s arrival is going to challenge some long-standing habits in this household. Her counting nineteen bottles is also a pretty effective way of ending the argument without needing a long lecture—sometimes the evidence really does speak for itself.

The sibling banter at the end keeps the episode from becoming too heavy. Krishna’s brothers teasing him about Sangam adds warmth to their relationship and shows that they are gradually accepting her as an important part of the family. Sangam may have entered the Bacchan house as a new bride, but judging by today’s episode, she has already started behaving like the household’s unofficial alarm clock, festival planner and discipline department.

Rating: 4.2/5

“Sometimes a new tradition does more than bring celebration into a home; it quietly brings people closer to one another.”
