Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 24th August 2026 Written Update: Tripti Moves Into Shantiniketan, Tulsi Senses a Bigger Game
The episode begins with Subhash telling Karan that they can manage everything at the hotel, but Karan insists that they stay at Shantiniketan instead. He asks Nandini to make all the necessary arrangements for them. Damini also offers to help, while Tripti specifically asks Nandini to arrange a mattress in Didi Bhai’s room.
Tripti then makes her intentions rather clear, at least to Tulsi. She says she feels blessed to have formed an alliance with the Viranis, otherwise certain people would have continued playing their own games. She then hugs Tulsi and announces that she has finally arrived at Shantiniketan and will be staying there.
But Tulsi knows better than to take Tripti’s sweet words at face value.
Tripti reminds Tulsi that she has already made her move and now it is Tulsi’s turn. Otherwise, she warns, Tulsi will soon be checkmated. Tulsi immediately recalls Tripti’s earlier actions and realises that Didi Bhai has been cleverly used as part of Tripti’s larger plan.
Meanwhile, Sid has a serious conversation with Samira. He tells her that he knows about her relationship with Tulsi Dadi and encourages her to end the misunderstanding between them. Sid asks Samira to trust him and believes that a sincere apology could help repair the damage.
Samira remembers all the times Tulsi supported her and begins to realise that she cannot continue avoiding the woman she has hurt.
Elsewhere, Sobha tells Tulsi that everyone has been settled into their respective rooms, but Didi Bhai is still experiencing pain. Tulsi immediately becomes suspicious. She tells Sobha that this is not simply a health issue and believes Tripti is turning the situation into another part of her game.
Sobha agrees, pointing out that Tripti has never really changed her ways.
Tulsi warns her to remain careful and asks her to take warm water to Kaki.
Soon, Sid brings Samira to meet Tulsi.
Samira finally apologises. She admits that she had lost the courage to face Tulsi after everything that happened, but Sid gave her the strength to come forward. Samira accepts that she broke Tulsi’s trust and deeply regrets her actions.
She also makes it clear that she genuinely loves Sid and never wanted to hurt Tulsi or the rest of the family.
Tulsi listens patiently before giving Samira some important advice.
She tells Samira that she needs to develop the courage to face difficult truths because her suicide attempt did not affect only her. Tulsi explains that while taking such a step may seem like an escape to the person involved, the fear and pain it leaves behind for parents and loved ones can be devastating.
Tulsi tells Samira that hurting herself also means hurting the people who love her.
At the same time, Tulsi appreciates the fact that Samira has come back to apologise. She tells her that this shows she still understands the importance of family, values and relationships.
Tulsi then asks Samira to promise that she will never attempt suicide again and instead give her family the confidence that she wants to live happily.
Samira agrees.
She then asks Tulsi to meet Sid. Sid also apologises to Tulsi, and both Sid and Samira seek her blessings. Tulsi asks about Didi Bhai’s condition, and Sid assures her that she is fine now. Tulsi sends the couple back to their room.
Meanwhile, Tripti is busy with another part of her plan.
She tells Sahil that he can finally relax because his consignment has been received by the exporter. She assures him that his payment will arrive within thirty days.
Sahil, however, says that he wants to return Gautam first.
Tripti immediately reminds him that when money is involved, relationships come second. She then turns the conversation towards Mihir and asks Sahil where he is.
Gautam overhears the conversation.
Tripti continues questioning Sahil, but he insists that he has no idea where Mihir is.
Her suspicion only grows.
Tripti then asks Gautam why Mihir was absent from Samira’s engagement. Gautam claims that Mihir is currently busy in the USA.
The explanation doesn’t convince Tripti.
She finds it particularly suspicious that even the children appear unaware of what their father is actually doing. Karan later tells Tripti that Mihir is handling his business in the USA, but this only gives Tripti another reason to investigate.
She approaches Maharaj and asks about Mihir.
Maharaj gives her the same story, saying that Mihir has been in the USA for the past ten years.
Instead of putting Tripti’s doubts to rest, the answer has the opposite effect.
Now she is even more determined to find out what the Virani family is hiding.
Meanwhile, Sahil begins reading through the agreement before signing it. The lawyer subtly indicates to Tripti that something may not be right with the deal.
Sahil is about to sign when Gautam stops him and asks him to read the agreement once again.
Sahil takes the file and carefully examines the documents.
Gautam then raises another question to Subhash, leaving him surprised. Tripti quickly attempts to control the situation, explaining that it is merely a commercial agreement and that the consignment has already been delivered.
Sahil confirms that the consignment has indeed been delivered.
Gautam eventually gives him the green light.
Sahil signs the agreement, unaware that Tripti has successfully completed the first stage of whatever she has planned.
Tripti is pleased with the development and quietly moves towards her next move.
Later, she goes to return the phone to Rana and gets an opportunity to speak with him. Samira notices Tripti and asks whether everything is fine.
Tripti calmly assures her that everything is perfectly fine.
But her expression says otherwise.
She then takes Samira inside with her, leaving behind yet another unanswered question.
With Tripti now firmly established inside Shantiniketan and actively investigating Mihir’s mysterious absence, Tulsi realises that the situation is becoming far more dangerous than a simple family disagreement.
The two women are now playing a much bigger game—and neither appears willing to back down.
Review
Tripti’s entry into Shantiniketan has completely changed the mood of the track. She isn’t simply staying in the house; she has clearly arrived with an agenda. The interesting part is that she doesn’t need to announce every plan loudly. A few carefully chosen questions and suspicious observations are enough to show that she is slowly putting the pieces together.
Her investigation into Mihir is particularly intriguing because every answer she receives seems to create another question. The more the family tries to maintain one version of the story, the more Tripti seems convinced that something is being hidden. And honestly, when a character starts asking questions that everyone else desperately wants to avoid, trouble usually isn’t far behind.
Samira’s apology, meanwhile, provides a much-needed emotional balance to the episode. Tulsi doesn’t simply forgive her and move on; she makes Samira understand the seriousness of her actions and the impact they had on her family. It gives their reconciliation some emotional weight rather than making it feel like a quick patch-up.
But the real question now is how long Tulsi can remain one step ahead of Tripti. Tripti may have moved into Shantiniketan, but Tulsi has already figured out that the guest room isn’t the only thing she has brought with her. The next move in this battle could decide who actually controls the house.
Rating: 4.3/5
“When two people know they are playing a game, the real danger begins when one of them starts believing they are already winning.”
