Bareilly Ke Bacchan 28th August 2026 Written Update: Sangam Sets Boundaries With Krishna, Family Secret Comes Closer to Exposure
Today’s episode of Bareilly Ke Bacchan begins with Sangam talking to Krishna and asking him not to bring gifts for her anymore. Krishna is surprised and asks her why.
Sangam explains that she is only going to stay there as a guest for a few days and does not want him to keep spending money on her. She also reminds Krishna that they are only friends and that their relationship should remain that way.
Sangam thanks Krishna for understanding her feelings.
Meanwhile, Sangam helps Ganga filter the atta. Krishna notices Mahi using the gift he had given him and praises him for it. Mahi makes a comment about the gift, prompting Krishna to remark that some people simply do not understand the value of a gift.
Soon, Aarti arrives at the Bacchan house. She tells Ganga that she has brought halwa that she prepared with her own hands.
Krishna notices that Aarti has brought something for Ganga and says that since she has brought a gift, she should receive one too. He gives Aarti a set of nighties and tells her that they are a gift from Ganga.
Aarti becomes delighted on hearing this. She thanks Ganga and excitedly says that she will wear the nighty that very day before leaving.
Ganga then asks Krishna why he used her name while giving Aarti the clothes.
Krishna casually explains that he only gave Aarti the clothes. Ganga worries about what her parents might think, but Krishna brushes off her concern with his usual confidence.
Later, Krishna sits near the fire. Sangam joins him and starts talking to him. She teases him, but Krishna gets irritated and tries to leave.
Sangam stops him and clarifies that she was only joking.
She then asks Krishna whether he likes barfi.
Krishna happily says yes.
Sangam offers him some barfi, and Krishna soon realises that Sangam is not talking about herself or making any romantic hint—she is simply talking about the sweet.
Sangam then says that she hopes his Barfi and Krishna will always remain together.
Just then, a peacock feather falls onto Krishna’s chest.
Sangam immediately sees it as a divine sign. She tells Krishna that the peacock feather is a blessing from God and means that he and his Barfi will always remain together.
Krishna agrees, clearly enjoying the moment.
The next morning, Sangam gets ready for her interview. Ganga offers her breakfast, but Sangam says she will eat while standing because she does not want to risk ruining her dress by sitting down.
Ganga becomes curious and asks whether something special is happening that day.
Sangam reveals that she has an interview, which Krishna has arranged for her.
Krishna quickly covers for Ganga, preventing the conversation from revealing anything that he does not want Sangam to know.
Sangam thanks the Bacchan family for supporting her dream. She then asks Satluj which college he attended.
Satluj immediately pretends to have a cough.
Sangam becomes concerned and goes to get him some water.
The moment she leaves, Ganga and Satluj lash out at Krishna for constantly lying to Sangam. They decide that they should tell her the truth today.
However, Sangam returns before they can say anything.
Krishna quickly stops them. He reminds them that it is a big day for Sangam because of her interview and insists that they should not spoil the moment.
Meanwhile, Aarti returns to the Bacchan house wearing the nighty Krishna gave her.
She excitedly asks Ganga how she looks.
Ganga compliments the khada, saying that it looks really good.
Aarti assumes Ganga is talking about her and becomes even more excited. But Ganga later clarifies that she was actually referring to the khada, leaving Aarti’s misunderstanding hanging in the air.
Soon, Sangam and Krishna leave for the interview.
Later, Aarti receives a phone call while speaking with Ganga and leaves for her home.
Meanwhile, Krishna repeatedly tries calling Rajinder, but Rajinder does not answer.
Krishna becomes worried. With Sangam’s interview approaching, he starts wondering whether she will actually be allowed to attend it and whether something has gone wrong.
The episode ends with Krishna anxiously waiting for an answer.

Sangam asks Krishna whether it is true that his father went to jail because of his mother’s death.
Krishna is left facing a question that could finally bring his hidden family past into the open.
Review
This episode keeps things pleasantly light for most of the time, with Sangam trying to establish some boundaries while Krishna continues finding excuses to be around her. The gift confusion involving Aarti and Ganga also delivers some classic family-comedy moments.
But underneath all that fun, the secrets are getting harder to contain. Ganga and Satluj are clearly tired of Krishna constantly hiding the truth, while the interview gives Sangam another reason to trust him.
And then the precap drops the real hook. Sangam is now asking about Krishna’s father and his mother’s death. That is not exactly casual breakfast conversation, and Krishna may have a lot more explaining to do soon.
