Udne Ki Aasha 28th August 2026 Written Update: Sayali Gets Shocking Message About Her Son, Laksh and Sayali’s Bond Makes Roshni Jealous
Today’s episode of Udne Ki Aasha begins with Roshni feeling increasingly uncomfortable as she notices the growing bond between Laksh and Sayali. Their closeness becomes even more obvious when the two get an opportunity to participate in a photoshoot as a mother and son.
Laksh is thrilled about the opportunity. He politely approaches Roshni and asks for her permission to take part in the photoshoot. Roshni tries to hide her feelings and acts normal, but it is clear that the idea of Laksh becoming even closer to Sayali is bothering her. Her jealousy continues to build as she watches their bond grow stronger.
Meanwhile, the Deshmukh family gets together and looks through old childhood photographs of Tejas and Sachin. The family members carefully look at the pictures and soon notice something striking. There is a strong resemblance between Sachin and Laksh.
The similarities leave everyone wondering whether there could be a deeper connection between them. The resemblance is difficult to ignore, and the possibility raises questions within the family.
Roshni, however, refuses to entertain the thought. She does not want the discussion to go any further and quickly takes Laksh away. Her reaction makes it clear that she is uncomfortable with the family noticing the similarities and asking questions that she may not be prepared to answer.
Later, the focus shifts to the Raksha Bandhan celebrations. Laksh, Arya and Pankhudi get ready for the special occasion. The children want to make the festival memorable for the entire family, so they decide to bring everyone together for a family photograph.
Pankhudi explains that she does not have a proper family picture and wants to create a beautiful memory with everyone. The family agrees to her request, and they happily gather together for the photograph.
The simple moment becomes emotional as the children enjoy having everyone together and try to make the celebration special.
Afterward, Arya and Laksh sit with Pankhudi for the Rakhi ceremony. As expected, the two brothers begin teasing each other and arguing playfully over who should receive the first rakhi from their sister.
Their innocent argument brings some much-needed fun to the celebration. Eventually, Pankhudi ties a rakhi around Arya’s wrist and blesses him. She then performs the same ritual for Laksh, making the moment special for all three children.
However, the mood suddenly becomes emotional when Laksh gives Pankhudi a small rakhi and asks her to tie it for the brother who is no longer alive.
Laksh tells her to imagine that brother’s wrist and place the rakhi there as well. His innocent words bring the family face-to-face with the pain of their loss. What began as a happy Raksha Bandhan celebration suddenly carries a much deeper emotional weight.
Roshni is particularly disturbed by the moment. Her insecurity about Sayali and Laksh’s growing relationship is already troubling her, and the emotional situation only adds to her uneasiness.
Pankhudi then tells her brothers that she does not want expensive gifts from them. For her, having her brothers by her side and receiving their love is more valuable than any present.
She says that all she wants is to spend Raksha Bandhan with them and make happy memories together.
Laksh and Arya understand what Pankhudi wants and decide to cheer her up. The two brothers dance together, bringing a smile back to Pankhudi’s face. The family once again enjoys the celebration as the children turn the emotional moment into a happy one.
But while the family is celebrating, Sayali receives a mysterious voice message from an unknown number.
The message leaves her completely stunned.
She is told something that could change everything she has believed about her child—the person she thought was no longer alive may actually be alive.
Sayali cannot understand who sent the message or why they are giving her such shocking information. She is left confused and emotionally shaken as she begins questioning the fate of her son.
For Sayali, this is not just another mysterious message. If the claim is true, it could mean that everything she believed about her child’s death was wrong.
The episode ends with Sayali struggling to process the revelation, while the mystery surrounding her son suddenly takes centre stage.

Review
The Raksha Bandhan celebrations bring plenty of warmth, but the real bomb drops right at the end. The resemblance between Sachin and Laksh already creates questions, and now Sayali receives a message claiming that her son could still be alive. That is one heck of a mystery to drop on a festival episode!
Roshni’s jealousy is also becoming increasingly difficult to hide, especially as Laksh and Sayali continue getting closer. With the mysterious message now entering the picture, the upcoming episodes could finally start connecting some very important dots.
